The Shore at Katathani Resort

This was the final stop on our trip through Thailand, having come from Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Phuket can be a high energy party and fun location, but my wife and I opted for a more quiet and relaxed spot, just a bit away from the busiest parts of this resort area. The Shore is quieter and feels like it could be a million miles away from anything, but it's just a short ride from all of the action if you want it. The room was absolutely gorgeous with true luxury appointments. A small private pool in our room with a comfortable lounge area... located right in the pool! We took golf cart/buggy rides to and from our room to the various restaurants and down to the beach and main pool area. The staff was incredibly attentive and gracious. We felt like we were visiting family with the way they treated us. The breakfast buffet was large and diverse in selection, and the restaurants for dinner were excellent with fine dining menus. We opted for in-room dining on a few occasions, and the food arrived hot and well prepared. We truly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend The Shore as a wonderful and luxurious getaway spot. Shout out to Radio Ronnie!!

I gave this hotel a very high rating, but there’s a major "but." This is truly one of the most stunning and luxurious hotels I’ve ever seen. The hotel is located on a mountainside with breathtaking views. We stayed in a mountaintop room, and it was absolutely incredible—an enormous space with a large private pool, comfortable sofas, and a spacious bathroom. The service at the hotel is outstanding and highly professional. The dining was good, though it didn’t completely meet the expectations that come with the hotel’s level of luxury. Getting around the hotel requires the use of shuttles, which can be a bit inconvenient. Traveling to the town center is also not straightforward, as it requires a short 5-minute taxi ride costing 200 Baht—a price that feels high for such a brief trip. And now for the "but": If the weather is rainy, as happened during our stay (three consecutive days of rain), the hotel becomes practically unusable—making it feel like a waste of money. With the rain, you’re unable to enjoy the pool, the beach, or most of the hotel’s services. My recommendation: if you see rainy weather in the forecast, it’s better to cancel your reservation altogether. There's no point in visiting during bad weather.

When it comes to vacationing in Phuket, this hotel is unbeatable! It’s right next to a stunning beach—whether you’re in your room or the public areas, all you see is the sparkling blue sea. Waking up to watch the sunrise here is incredibly soothing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with high-quality amenities, and it’s super quiet at night for a good sleep. The restaurant serves fresh, juicy seafood, and both Thai and Western dishes are authentic and delicious. The staff are really friendly; they handle any requests quickly, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. If you want to enjoy a lazy island holiday, this is definitely the place to pick!

Just wrapped up an amazing stay at The Shore at Katathani in Phuket and it truly lived up to the hype. From the moment we booked, everything was smooth and effortless. Their online system for romantic experiences made it so easy to plan special dinners, surprises, and little moments without any stress. The resort itself is stunning, and getting around was super convenient with the golf carts that take you anywhere you need to go. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The beach was super clean, beautiful, and peaceful, perfect for relaxing or watching the sunset. We honestly have zero complaints about the entire stay. The rooms are huge, very private, and each one comes with its own private pool, which made the experience feel even more luxurious and romantic. The food was excellent across the board, but the highlight was the private romantic dinner on the beach. It was a full seven-course experience, beautifully set up right by the water, and absolutely worth every penny. Truly one of the most memorable parts of the trip. If you’re looking for a romantic, stress-free, luxury stay in Phuket, this place is hard to beat.

The Shore at Katathani was the most beautiful and luxurious stay. Every aspect of the property is stunning, well groomed, clean and peaceful. The 2 restaurants on site had great menus with incredible food and service. The buffet had a fantastic variety of food, fruits, breads, traditional thai, eggs, bacon, juices, sweets etc. Lunch and dinner was also great. We particularly liked the performances at dinner and the ease of having lunch whenever we pleased. The thai restaurant had a stunning design and the food was flavoursome and authentic. The staff at The Shore are so attentive, every member went above and beyond for us. We loved that we felt so welcomed. The cart service is fantastic. There is also an app that allows you to book services and get resort information. We would have stayed a month if we could have. We were upgraded to the romance room and it was fabulous. The view was stunning, the room was clean and spacious 10/10.

What a wonderful hotel in a great location in Phuket on Kata Noi beach. The villas were stunning! They were decorated to fit the vibe of Phuket. The restaurants were very good. Param Para was an outstanding restaurant! The service was exceptional and Thai dishes were elegant and delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Radio Ronnie who made our travels around the resort so entertaining. The resort app made it so easy to make dinner reservations, review restaurant menus, activities, arrange buggy rides around the resort and to order room service and room amenities.

Loved our stay here. We booked the villa in love seaview and the room was absolutely amazing. The view is stunning and it was hard to leave the private pool! Room service was really tasty. The staff was amazing too. The resort is super hilly, but the paths along the ocean are beautiful and a great workout. Breakfast was delicious each day! One piece of feedback i’d offer is to work on the ambience at the restaurants and main pool. Some lighting and music can go a long way.

What an absolutely amazing experience. Our room was gorgeous. The breakfast was amazing. The view is stunning. The service is absolutely top notch. The drivers are adorable. The spa massages were relaxing. This was paradise. What a great honeymoon. Thank you all for everything! Also: this super friendly young cat lounged with us for hours getting pets and being all cute!
