This is quite a nice restaurant, near the bridge to the Isle of Skye (but not on the island) in, as you might guess, the town of Plockton.
It has a well deserved fine local reputation as a good seafood restaurant and I would certainly agree. It is a fairly small place and was crowded when we were there for dinner, so it is a good thing we had a reservation.
We had an interesting assortment of seafood, all quite excellent. Squat lobsters, about the size of crayfish, served in a glass with just the tails, crab cakes, duck breast served on chanterelles, lemon sole (the whole fish) and langostines which are just like one of my favorite oxymorons "jumbo shrimp."
It is well worth going a bit out of you way to dine here.
