This is a cute cafe with delicious food in a great location. The staff were super patient and friendly. This place has a great view and the patio is amazing. The food and coffee were delicious, and there were many options for both. This was a great cafe in a cute town that is totally worth going to.

We opt for curry and pulled pork on a potato bun. I've tried a lot of food, but this is the worst. The pulled pork is so dry that it lacks all flavour. I've tasted pulled pork sandwiches a lot, so I know exactly how they should taste like. The dish is so bland that even the cabbage on it lacks flavour. Oh, and the curry. I won't lie, we tossed everything in the trash since we couldn't eat it. Not going back to this restaurant.

Lovely cafe at Field! Super friendly staff, surprisingly great collection of local beer and wine. Even there’s not even a grocery store in this tiny town, they manage to serve wonderful food. Their fries is excellent!

This charming, eclectic, hip & very friendly spot was bustling the duration of our visit. The menu has a great variety of options and we were thrilled with our choices. The curry bowl was authentic and delicious. The veggie burger perfection! Too full to add on but enjoyed browsing the shop and considering a treat. Don't miss a lunch stop here!!

A very cute little eatery in the middle of a very small enclave (Field) made up of mostly cabins for visitors to Yoho national park. The enclave is charming, almost like a gnome village. There are only 2 places to eat, and this is one of them. The menu is on the 'Hippie side' that was done very well. - meatball Curry, very flavorful rice base, tender meatballs, delicious bread - Buddha Bowl, also delicious basmati rice base, tofu had a good tender/chewy balance - chicken burger was nicely grilled and not greasy They take credit card and cash. Street parking not too hard to find in this little town They do a lot of takeout so sit-down dining doesn't have much wait time. Seems like a first come first serve type of thing. Go ahead and try it!

Stopped foe lunch.. Great healthy fresh salad bun. We also picked up some excellent wines to go. We love the quaintness of Field. And the beautiful mountains and wide river.

Stopped here for lunch, 5 mins off highway and really well worth it. Parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and the best panini I’ve ever had (ham, spinach, caramelised onions etc) was brilliant. Also sell wine and some other goods, great place!

Short stopped for a lunch after visiting Emerald Lake. The food was great. We sat outside to enjoy the weather. Then, I left my backpack there which I realized at Bow Lake in icefield pwy, which was an hour away. I returned to the restaurant on the way to the hotel but it was already closed. My wife texted the number shown on the door and the owner replied promptly that he had it. I stayed in Lake Louise village so I returned to the restaurant the next morning to receive it. Good foods are served by good folks here.

Yelp
We popped in here during our exploration in yoho National park. This is quite close to emerald lake. There's not much in the area so this restaurant or the truffle pig are really the only options. That said, the menu was extensive and there were many veggie options. I got a veggie sandwich which I felt was pretty average but tasted good. My friend got the curry and LOVED it. She said it was one of the best meals, so I added a star on her behalf, otherwise I felt the food was fairly average. Good place to stop though if you need a quick meal. They stick closely to the menu though, for example I asked for a side of fries and she said no because it only came with the burger. So that was kinda a bummer, but overall I'd recommend.

Yelp
LOVED this place. We both got the Banh Mi bowl and it was so delicious. The flavors were out of this world. Perfect place to stop for a quick lunch in Yoho National Park. We even stopped back by for coffee on our way out of the park. You order at the counter and then can sit in or outside. The staff was very friendly.

Yelp
There may be a bit of a wait in line, but be patient because it was all worth it. Great coffees (make them iced on those warm days) and delicious food. It was the best vegetarian/black bean burger I have ever had. One friend had a curry bowl and another had the pulled-pork sandwich, both had raving reviews. You definitely can't beat the view from the front of the cafe. You can even take your food to-go and go across the street to the benches to enjoy your food and the view.

Yelp
Here for vacation and looking for lunch, It's surprising good , I'm recommended this place.

Yelp
One of few places to eat out in Field. We were going to go to Truffle Pig but the line was too long. The food here was very delicious and there was no line!

Michelle Q.

Yelp
There's a more popular restaurant literally right across the street, but based off the wait, we opted to try out The Siding Cafe. They had vegan and vegetarian options and they also had a small outside seating area. ordered the Tofu Buddha Bowl and it exceeded my expectations. For the past week, I've settled with subpar food because of the lack of options, but the Buddha Bowl was more than satisfactory. Good service, quaint little shopping options inside and it also doubles as a beer/wine store! Great stop.

Yelp
For a tiny little place tucked away in a tiny little town, we were all SHOCKED at how awesome the food was at Siding Cafe. It's a really well-done place where you order at the counter and then they bring you the food to you at your table. 1. Buddha Bowl - I had it with tofu and it was delicious. Very flavorful and best 2. Veggie Burger - They definitely make their own veggie patty and it was good. 3. Mango and Garbonzo Bean salad was also pretty good and had some good flavor to it. Lastly, they have this homemade habenero pepper hot sauce, which was good. Very spicy, so definitely recommend to use it sparingly. It's one of those sauces that actually tastes good while being super-hot. If you're visiting Yoho National Park, and you're looking for a place that offers healthy food options and is just top-notch, you should definitely try out Siding Cafe.

Yelp
We popped in for lunch while staying at emerald lake and it was so yummy! My husband and I split the curry bowl and a salad and both were delicious. The curry was rich and flavourful and the salad was light and refreshing. Highly recommend stopping in for a lunch - you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
We stumbled upon this cute cafe on the way to Emerald Lake, and we had a great experience! The interior ambiance is very cute and homey, with tables in the center and home-made merchandise from clothing to various natural oils lining the walls. Our server/cashier was really nice and gave us prompt service. I ordered a pulled-pork sandwich and while it was slightly on the oily side, it was really tasty - the tangy and sweet BBQ sauce not overtaking the pork, all held together by a nicely toasted bun. All in all I had a great time and if I'm ever back in Yoho National Park, I'll be sure to stop by again.

Yelp
Hands down the best veg burger I have ever had! I'm allergic to mushrooms and most places have a premade veg patty with mushrooms, but Siding Cafe makes it with oats and its handmade!

Angela K.

Yelp
BEST BUDDHA BOWL EVER I ordered the Buddha bowl with tofu and I've been craving it ever since. The service is good and there is a gift shop in the same building. It has a great view of the trains when you walk outside as well.

Olena I.

Yelp
This was a pleasant surprise on the way back from Emerald Lake. Probably the most casual eatery in town with a simple but quite interesting menu of sandwiches, soups, and rice and noodle bowls. Everything we ordered was super fresh and delicious. Charming shop inside and people were in and out grabbing some sandwiches to go or picking up beer, so it's a bit of a corner store mixed in with a tourism shop mixed in with a road stop cafe. Worth a visit.

Yelp
After a long day of visiting neighboring lakes, this cute cafe was a very nice change of food in the Canmore area. Food was amazing and would definitely recommend getting the bowl. Everyone was super nice and friendly and the service was very fast. Seating was limited but does have an outdoor area to eat across from the cafe so didn't have a problem there.

Betsy B.

Yelp
Hahaha haven't had the food yet but the service was prettttttty sub par. So I'm not into it.

Richard L.

Yelp
Simply the best Café in the Rocky Mountains. We never imagined that we would find such a place in this remote area. The food was great, the employees were friendly and the calm, relaxed atmosphere was just amazing! Hoping to come back soon. PS: Still enjoying my great Americano ;-)

Susan B.

Yelp
This was a fantastic little find that I didn't expect. It is a charming but fairly small place, yet they were easily able to accommodate our party of 9. We originally planned a stop at another place in town, but the lines were long. So glad we couldn't get in at the other spot because the food here was exceptional. It was fresh, healthy and unique. Service was very good, even though we were a large party. The shrimp Buddha bowl was great!

Christine E.

Yelp
Great service. Great food. Gem in a small town.

Julie E.

Yelp
Great breakfast and friendly services! Order at counter and they bring food and they drinks out to you. The self serve water had fresh lemon and mint to flavour it. We ordered the The Egger and The Heavenly. It was a Weekday and it was fairly busy but everything came out hot, fresh and delicious! If it's nice out sit on the patio, great mountain views!

Eric S.

Yelp
Excellent little cafe with sick views. Friendly staff and good food. Definitely worth the stop!

Yelp
Buddha Bowl was awful and ridiculously expensive - basically three pieces of shrimp severed over rice and carrots with a disgusting tomato soup. Pulled Pork better.

Sharat S.

Yelp
We happened to stumble upon this place because Truffle Pigs, which our concierge had recommended, had a 30-40 minute wait! This is a hole in the wall but we absolutely loved the food and the service. Great options for vegetarians as well! Food was way tastier and better value than the Lakeview Lounge restaurant we ate at, at the Fairmont Lake Louise!

Jane S.

Yelp
Ordered the Southwest burger and Italian Panini (about $15 each). Both came with a choice of sides between soup and salad. Service was friendly. Between the salami, sun-dried tomatoes, and the pickles in my panini, I think this was probably one high-sodium panini as it was abit salty for my preference. But I think they make good food so you just gotta know what you're ordering. Plus, you're in Field, which is a small town, and they are a reliable option when in Field.

Pranav A.

Yelp
Food is amazing! Get the black bean burger it's great! The vegetable curry soup is also quite good. This is the place to go for great vegetarian options! The ambiance is nice as well and the food is made fresh.

Analea W.

Yelp
We had the most delicious panini sandwiches! The Caprese was amazing. And their fries are honestly some of the best I've ever had. A cozy café that's worth the stop!

Yelp
What a nice surprise. Stopped in for early dinner after a long day hiking. We both ordered burgers. I got the salad for my side. Hubby got fries. Fries were really great. Huge stack. Yummy. Not soggy or greasy. My salad was really nice. Burgers were nice and big. No stamped flat burgers here. Great flavor with all the works.
