The Silveri Hong Kong MGallery occupies a convenient, directly integrated into the Citygate Outlets complex and is just a short drive from Hong Kong International Airport and within easy reach of the MTR, making it a practical base for travellers who want proximity to both Lantau’s attractions and the city centre.|The hotel features 206 rooms and suites, designed in a contemporary, eco‑chic style. Dining options include a fusion‑cuisine restaurant and a separate cocktail bar. Guests also have access to an outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and fitness centre.|I stayed in a Superior Room with Sea View, which offered a bright, modern space with clean lines and understated décor. The room included a comfortable bed, a well‑designed bathroom with walk‑in shower, and Malin + Goetz toiletries. Breakfast is served daily as a buffet in The Enclave restaurant. The selection is solid, with a mix of cold and warm dishes, and a live cooking station where guests can order freshly prepared egg dishes. However, service during breakfast was noticeably less attentive than expected for a hotel positioning itself in the luxury segment - slow, not particularly proactive, and at times difficult to flag down. Tables are equipped with small cards that guests flip over once they are finished, signalling availability for the next diner. It’s a practical system, though it also subtly underscores the staff’s lack of presence.|During my stay the tropical storm Ragasa hit Hong Kong, which meant I had to remain inside the hotel for two days. Fortunately, the direct connection to Citygate Outlets made it easy to find alternative dining options outside the hotel itself. The Silveri, however, did not offer any special arrangements or additional services during the storm, which would have been a thoughtful gesture given the circumstances.|Overall, the stay was pleasant and the hotel offers a stylish, comfortable environment with strong fundamentals. Yet, while the property markets itself as a luxury hotel, the service - particularly in the restaurant - still has room for improvement to fully meet that standard. With a bit more attentiveness and refinement in guest interaction, The Silveri could easily live up to its promising setting and design.
