A place I have visited 3 or 4 times this year. A very good place to visit, especially for people who have an interest in the story of the Skelligs, who don't wish to make the 8 mile sea-journey, or are uneasy about scaling the heights at Skellig Mhicil. Always a warm welcome here for visitors. Good exhibition, excellent audio-visual presentation, good bathroom facilities, good restaurant. As a tour guide this visit ticks a lot of boxes.- bathrooms, food, gift-shop and a place of cultural significance.

Everything was well organised, and the crew was so helpful and enthusiastic. Before the trip we got a safety explanation and a film about the history. On the ship we got lifejackets and some more safety tips. They take safety serious. 👍 We were lucky and had a warm day wit hardly any wind. Climbing Skellig Michael took about 30 minutes, we walked around the monastery about 30 minutes, had some lunch just outside the walls en walked back down (another 30 minutes). Being up there was amazing, ant the 2 guides at the top told great stories. We visited in August, and the puffins had left, so sadly no puffins! But we did see thousands of gannets at the little Skellig rock.

We had a wonderful time here and Zoe was welcomed with open arms. Its laid back and we were allowed to walk around before paying. We were given first view of the movie before a bus load of tourists arrived. Very thoughtful and thankyou. There is a souvenir shop, restaurant and toilets plus plenty of parking. Its definitely worth the stop off on your travels.

My wife, baby & myself had a fantastic experience at the Visitor Centre. A great source of knowledge and history of the stunning Skellig Islands and in particular the monastic settlements on Skellig Michael. There's even a set of old entry gates that were damaged by a storm and were recovered by divers at the entrance to the tour. Lots of photos and structures recreated that gives you a very personal and unique experience of this UNESCO heritage site. The restaurant serves absolutely delicious food, highly recommended. The staff are terrific and very helpful and help make the whole experience even more memorable. Remember; you can also book the fantastic boat tour around these iconic islands or land on Skellig Michael. Well worth it!

The Skelligs Experience is a good place to book your boat trip because it offers a good place to start and hear about the history wildlife and what one can expect to see. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and very accommodating, there is a small gift shop and cafeteria while you wait for your boat to arrive. The whole experience runs smoothly and the boat drivers are very informative and accommodating. Book on line if possible in high season and also to find out about crossings. Highly recommended.

A very small visitor centre so you don't get much for your money, however I loved it, I love a model and there were loads of models of how the monks used to live in Skellig island and a recreation of one of their beehive cells. Fantastic audio-visual of a visit to Skellig island for those that don't fancy the boat tour. On site cafe looked great as well although we didn't eat there. Great staff. Lovely little gift shop.

Very interesting and informative museum and movie. Good parking and toilets and food on site. Our tour was cancelled because of the weather. They were great about emailing the night before and once we got there we very accommodating to try and have us booked for later in the day or another date. Very professional and helpful. When I return to Ireland, I’ll rebook!
