The Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City

"This 225-room and suite beauty has a long and storied history. First opened in 1911 by real estate developer and oil tycoon William Balser "Bill" Skirvin, the hotel known as the Skirvin Hilton—which, throughout its history, has played host to such famous figures as Harry Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Elvis, and Frank Sinatra—underwent a $50 million dollar reno, reopening in 2007. See what makes this grand dame continue to shine over at the Park Avenue Grill, which still contains traces of Art Deco craftsmanship (think hand-laid tile floors), or at the Red Piano lounge, where you can tap your toes along to live music every Tuesday through Saturday."

My now husband and I stayed at the Skirvin this weekend for our wedding weekend and we had a fantastic experience! Upon check-in Thursday, we were greeted by a friendly valet and front desk agent. Check in was seamless and we found out we had been upgraded to a suite! When we walked into the room it was beautiful and spotless. The front desk staff wrote a hand written letter offering best wishes on our marriage, macaroons, and a complimentary bottle of champagne. Attention to details like this keeps guests come back! The hotel was beautiful for our wedding photos and other guests who decided to stay as well. We loved the restaurant for breakfast and the walkability of the area. We had outstanding service and a truly great experience, we cannot wait to come back and visit for anniversary’s and other special occasions!

The Skirvin is an old, classy hotel, but well kept and clean. Was upgraded to the rotunda suite room, which is spacious and has a unique design with a separate bedroom and living room. The hotel is centrally located near museums, restaurants and Bricktown. Overall, I recommend it. Only negative is the $15 daily food credit for diamond members, which does not buy you breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Also, only 2 bottles of water per stay. But those are examples of the overall deterioration of benefits that Hilton has been offering over the years, and is not specific to this hotel (no more free breakfast, daily housekeeping etc.).

UPDATE: I was contacted immediately after posting my review and the staff was so amazing. Upgraded me to a nice room WITH AC. Looks like the room I had was a glitch. The new room is very nice. Air conditioning works!!! Very happy with the prompt response and attention from a customer service perspective. That is very valuable and deserves high recognition. I would not recommend this place. Wish I’d have chosen somewhere else. The AC in my room does not work. Maintenance came and said they fixed it but it’s still around 75 degrees in here (hours later) no matter what temperature I set it on. The WiFi sucks. The bed is cot-like and lumpy not comfy. The shower has no door or curtain and the water flooded my bathroom. I used every towel I had to clean up the mess. Because I’m on the 12th floor getting hot water is a very time consuming process. It literally takes 10 minutes or more to get hot water out of any faucet. I really regret this choice. The only thing I like about it is the history and outside view of the hotel. Other than that, I wish I’d have chosen a Sheraton.

Super cool hotel. I’ve been wanting to stay here for years and I’m a huge fan. Nice staff too it’s been a great experience thank you everyone who’s keeping this place in amazing shape and good vibes -Savannah Carter

The Skirvin is a beautiful hotel- the exterior and lobby have so much charm. ||First impression wasn’t great. The check-in staff were rude, which was surprising as I’ve not encountered that at other Hiltons. ||The rooms were fine- dated and showed the age of the hotel. The beds were very comfy. We had a street view looking out at The Rolex store, and businesses still had Christmas lights up. Our room didn’t have a mini-fridge- if you want one you’ll have to reserve a room with one.||We didn’t eat in the restaurant but had room service (which was good). We’re guessing there were staffing shortages because it took longer to get our food than they told us. Then nobody picked up our tray, which sat outside our room for two days (despite letting them know it was there). I’ve never seen that happen. ||The gym was large and had a variety of equipment and our daughter enjoyed the pool. We always had both to ourselves. We were within walking distance of the Memorial and took daily walks. We didn’t get a chance to go to the bar but it looked like it had good crowds.

Gorgeous hotel. I travel for a living and this might be one of the nicest, cleanest and well-kept properties I’ve been at in a long time. You can tell every detail has been considered and that whomever runs it has high standards and hasn’t let them slip. Keep it up. I hope to come back to Oklahoma City soon.

This review is limited to only the Mother’s Day brunch on 5/11/2025. After searching for place to post a review, I could not find one. After our experience, I can understand why. First we paid almost $300 for three people ($74.95 plus tax and 20% service fee). We had a friendly, but overworked server. Most of the servers were busily clean tables and preparing them for other families, but had little time to take care of people at the tables. The food was ok at best. |Most of the hot foods were warm, at best, with some actually at room temperature.|Deserts were numerous, but mostly cakes that looked like they came from Sam’s.|The people, in general, were friendly.|I could say more, but will bring this to a close. My wife had been wanting to go to this annual “feast” for a long time; we had not gone due to the high cost involved. So after “biting the bullet” we decided to splurge. She said today, “I do not want to do that again.” End of story.

This hotel was a delightful staycation destination for my travel buddy and me. We conveniently arrived by train to Oklahoma City, and the hotel’s location was just a stone’s throw away. There were several other charming hotels in the vicinity to choose from. Since I prefer the convenience of digital keys, I hardly interacted with the front desk during our stay. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel only offers valet parking if you’re driving to this location. On the positive side, there were plenty of excellent dining options within walking distance. The hotel’s basement level housed both the pool and the fitness center. While the pool temperature was comfortable, it could have benefited from a bit more lighting. Additionally, there was a hot tub available for relaxation. The pool area was dimly lit, which I found a bit off-putting. I thought it could have been enhanced with more lighting to create a more inviting ambiance. The hotel also had an on-site restaurant that offered room service, but unfortunately, it wasn’t suitable for families.

Yelp
The building itself is absolutely stunning, it reminds me of a castle in Europe! The lobby is very warm and inviting, and the front desk employees were kind upon our entrance into the hotel. I travel A LOT for work so I'm kind of picky about things in a hotel, so I did take a star away for a few smaller things. The rooms are kind of outdated and lack outlets. The pillows are super small and kind of awkward to sleep on. I also was disappointed in the low water pressure. None of the small things would stop me from staying here again, the hotel is nice and the location is perfect if you're in downtown OKC.

Yelp
This place was so pretty. It has been redone a couple times and is apparently going to get a refresh again soon. The woodwork in the lobby and around the hotel is beautiful. There is a ballroom and areas where they host events. The room was spacious and decorated well. We had a nice view with 2 big windows. The bed was very comfortable. Walkable to several restaurants and other activities. We walked to the Botanical Gardens from the hotel. They were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was good and served above the lobby looking down. There are several pictures dating back several years to when the hotel was built and the changes throughout the years. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.

Yelp
A historic place with exactly that feel. The front desk service was so refreshing and great. The rooms are large and mostly updated, but they do have an oldie feel still. The entrance is grand and the piano bar is so much fun. Lovely place.

Yelp
Awful place to avoid. Staffs are not friendly. They gave me a horrible room on Wednesday why? There is no privacy facing directly other rooms. Shower faucet is broken. There is a hole in the bathroom. Breakfast restaurant is understaffed. The management seems to have a problem. Never come here.

Yelp
Reserved fur Afternoon tea. It was delightful. Great service and tea was great. The tray of goodies was well done and the atmosphere was nice. We were only one of two groups doing the high (afternoon) tea on a Friday at noon, others were having lunch. You must reserve in advance which I did on Perle Mesta website. Very easy to do. I highly recommend. Remember this isn't an inexpensive experience but all afternoon teas are kind of costly. Enjoy!

Yelp
I stopped in for breakfast at one of my beloved places in OKC, the beautiful Skirvin hotel. They do serve breakfast in the Red Piano Bar, but you wouldn't know it because it appeared closed. I asked a server who answered with a soft and unenthusiastic yes. Lights were in, but it's a dimly lit vibe. That being said, no tv on, barely hear the music, a man at another table walked all around to find the server. The breakfast was good and worth the reasonable price. I'm just disappointed that such a lovely historic place had no pleasant hospitality. What happened? And it's not new to me, hospitality left the front desk a few years ago.

Avery P.

Yelp
This hotel on the outside and in the lobby/restaurant area is beautiful!!! I was a bit disappointed in the room, it was dated and felt unclean. Stain on the carpet, obvious chipping in the wood on the dresser. I feel like the price for the rooms is pretty much for the location and atmosphere downstairs. For the price they could easily upgrade even little things in the room. The shower curtain was yellow and just looked old. I do know it's a historic hotel, but the room felt like a motel 6. Outside the room felt more luxury historic. If you don't need to be right downtown I would recommend a regular Hilton. Loved it being pet friendly and the digital key.

Yelp
So I booked our room online for my youngest daughter's birthday. I believed I had paid for it online when I booked it. (Foreshadowing here lol) I had put in the notes asking if we could get a semi high up room as my daughter had asked for a big hotel and an indoor pool. (Indoor bc it's cold out) We were going to be going to the thunder game so we wanted a hotel downtown. She specifically wanted to swim and this is the only one of two downtown that have indoor pools. So the day we're booked I come in looking like a drowned rat bc it was pouring rain outside and I had walked from across the road from my car. Then I get to the receptionist to check in and he asks me to pay. I'm confused bc I thought I'd already paid. Anyways it turns out to be a mix up and the guy (I want to say Lyle?) gives me my room at half price. Truly amazing service! My daughter enjoyed her stay SO much it truly made her year. The pianist at the lounge sang happy birthday to her! She felt so special! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and we had a great time exploring it!! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay. My bed was super comfy too and a good sized shower!!

Yelp
The housekeeping was superior, the atmosphere was decadent, and the staff was approachable and friendly. Even though my three windows did face an immediately adjacent parking garage that was lit up like the sun, the curtains effectively blocked the light. Hoping to stay here again in the future.

Yelp
The staff seemed indifferent and cold. The lady at the front desk seemed irritated at me just for wanting to check in. No one offered to help with luggage when we arrived. When I called the hotel before my stay to ask a question, they kept trying to upsell me on stuff I did not want. Then they promised me 500 Hilton Honor points if I answered a few questions. The questions started like this: Agent: "So where would you like to book your next Hilton stay? Orlando or Las Vegas? Me: I don't want to book another stay right now; I just called to ask about parking. Agent: Oh, that's nice. So where can we book your next visit, Orlando or Vegas? Me: Sir, I don't think you understand; I just want to know where I can park my car. Agent: Ok, fine! And then he hung up on me. For a hotel that charges $300 a night for my room, I would have expected more professionalism and respect. And I never got the points promised either. Unbelievable. I last saw the Skirvin 21 years ago when it was abandoned. The restoration of this building back to its original glory is nothing short of a miracle. I hope they never renovate this place with modern styles like they did in the 1970s and ruin it again. Keep it old. It's immaculately clean, and the restoration back to its original architecture is absolutely awe-inspiring. The barely visible cleaning staff and restorationists are the only people who made our stay as good as it was. I have a feeling that the indifferent staff who work at the front desk and in customer service will be its eventual downfall unless they correct course. Update: front desk manager called me to apologize. Super friendly and kind. Going out of your way to reach out to a customer like this is what makes a business thrive. I will definitely come back.

Yelp
We arrived 30 min before our scheduled time and we're seated immediately. Our server Rashon, was very pleasant and attentive, although we sat for about 15 min before getting our drinks. The food was flavorful, and unbelievable choices of salads, breads and the classic vegetables and a table loaded with crab and shrimp and other seafood choices. There was a carving station with all kinds of meats, including prime rib. The desserts were every flavor of cakes , pumpkin pies, cheesecake, to many to mention. I may make this an annual Thanksgiving event. The hotel sparkled and was grand.

Melynda G.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel! Interior is all Art Noveau and a lot of historical pictures of the hotel. Has a nice bar with a red piano . Also a restaurant that is very nice. Staff was very helpful and professional. Close to the Art Museum and other attractions, walking distance .

Yelp
Called ahead of time to make sure the hottub was working considering the only way i was booking was for the hottub, i was told yes and proceeded to make a reservation. Upon arrival i asked the front desk again, when does the hottub close and was told 10 pm. Thats fine, i had a little time to jump in before turning in. Got my suit on and headed downstairs to find that it was infact, drained and not accessible. The front desk lady was no help, she told me a supervisor wouldnt be in until agtwr the new year. Im very very disappointed that i paid this amount of money to sleep in an uncomfortable bed.

Yelp
I came here with people from OKC for a birthday party. The front desk only had two room keys for four people, forgot to include my points, and the drinks were bitter. All and all I think I will stick with Marriott.
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
No no no, never, never, never. Went to the hotel at noon on a Sunday to see if we'd be able to check in early. No rooms were available which I get. I asked if they could call me when a room was available because I'm traveling with my ill mom. The front desk lady seemed hesitant but said of course. 3 hours later and no call. That's fine if no rooms became available, but this is Oklahoma City, not NYC, Chicago, etc. For the class of hotel, I would have thought a call saying as much would be warranted but I guess I was wrong. Will not stay here again and recommend everyone I can to stay elsewhere in OKC. Especially for $31 parking downtown when there's a lot of other places you can park in this city for free. I just don't have that luxury because my mom has cancer.

Yelp
Beautiful historic hotel! First time staying at the Skirvin! I love history and historic monuments. This hotel did not disappoint and is beautifully crafted. You can tour the hotel, viewing artifacts from its inception. I ate dinner at the Red Piano to the sound of music. Typical hotel food, great drinks and wonderful company!

Yelp
Swanky hotel right in the middle of it all. Right in the middle of downtown and a five minute walk to Bricktown where all the action is. The hotel has a great little piano bar, restaurant, and other amenities. I'm not sure if this is a recent Hilton thing, but the hot tub is out of order and empty. This is the third Hilton in the third state I've been to recently where this has been the case with all three locations.

Yelp
My son and his new bride spent the night after their wedding on 9-21-23. Since they weren't headed out for their honeymoon destination until the next day and we thought it was sorta sad to just "go home" after their wedding and wanting to make it more special than that for a couple just starting out and living frugally, we bought them a night at the Skirvin Plaza. They arrived late after the reception, exhausted and ready to get to their room. When the keycard didn't work, they called down and were told to come back down to get another one. When they returned to the lobby, a group gathered noticed her veil and asked if they had just come from their wedding, to which they answered they had. The hotel personnel said they didn't realize it was the night of their wedding and upgraded their room to what I can only assume is a suite based on the excited description we heard. You guys made a special night even more special for this young couple and it won't be forgotten. Thank you!
google avatar

Yelp
The staff! The location! The experience! Easy in and out. Beautifully appointed rooms. Beautiful and Historic. Close to the action.

Briana M.

Yelp
Hotel has a nice historic feel and the piano bar is a great touch. The rooms do however have a moldy smell and are not that nice. It's in a great location though. Not worth the hundreds of dollars people pay there are much nicer properties in okc for less.
google avatar

Yelp
I am reviewing the Thanksgiving Buffet. Very first time for us was this year. The dressing and turkey tasted really good, however that's where it stops. Desserts not so, much they were dry and tasteless. Pecan pie tasted like a pre made frozen pie. Not impressed. . We felt like we were being herded in like cattle. It was crowded. Tables too close. Not enough room around the food area either. Some food was empty. Crab legs were still frozen. Couldn't hear the musicians. Overall, we will not return. This dinner could be better if they would take out the breakfast items and concentrate on making Thanksgiving food and desserts better. Service was good. But I was disappointed in everything else.
google avatar

Mason K.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, room was clean and ready upon arrival. Front desk staff Mr. Ron Savage went above and beyond to assist my family with checking in when we arrived after midnight. We were exhausted from traveling across the country in a full-size moving truck. He made the parking and checking in experience so pleasant and easy.

Jacklyn M.

Yelp
It's our go-to for ambiance and City class. It has a history like no other in OKC. Beautiful hotel!
google avatar

Cam C.

Yelp
To me, the Skirvin Hotel holds historic value to OKC. That's it. The lobby is actually beautiful. I love listening to the red piano in the lobby bar. Overall, customer service is great! But that's what you're paying for because the food options are terrible. The rooms are tiny and outdated. They are dog friendly so we could hear the ankle biter down the way barking all night on NYE. Fortunately, it's a good location to anything you need to do downtown.
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
This hotel is the definition of a premium hotel. The experience is top notch from valet to check in and room service. The WiFi works. Seating in the room is very comfortable and ample. Bathroom walk in shower has both hand held and shower head. Yeah! Works for both short and tall people. Would have been 5 stars but lack of electric plugs bedside for medical devices and very soft mattress were not great. Had to move bedside tables to find plugs.

Yelp
I had picked the Skirvin since it was near the Oklahoma City Memorial, and it was a winner! Steeped in tradition and history, this hotel has a lot to offer and a lot to see. Definitely check out the photos in the walls in the lobby to get an idea of how much this place has seen. The front desk service was excellent, quickly serving our need to store our luggage ahead of the 3:00PM checkin time. Valet service at checkin was quick and friendly. The room, a king, was well decorated and had good HVAC. It was also very quiet, a very good thing when you're trying to get some rest. Be warned, there was no fridge nor microwave in our room, and I couldn't find an ice bucket, either, so it was tricky to manage beverages etc. The nearby soda vending machines didn't offer much in terms of selection, but there's a better equipped mini "bodega" in the lobby. The bed itself was quite soft, which suited me but gave my girlfriend a bit of a sore back. Disclaimer here: We regularly don't agree on bed comfort, so take this with a grain of salt. It was great, however, for other activities. We also checked out the indoor pool area, featuring a modestly sized pool and a hot tub. The pool was a bit chilly for us, but the hot tub was very nice. The only bump in the road in terms of service came near checkout, when I was trying to phone ahead to have the valet bring our car. Neither the front desk nor bell numbers were answering, so we had to wait until we got downstairs to request the car. In fairness, despite what I thought wouldn't be a busy departure time, apparently 9:45am was the time when everyone wanted to leave. The car was delivered professionally and we were on our way. This was a nice experience, and we'd stay here again.

Yelp
Piano bar was cool for business dinner! Selected the charcuterie board, which at $24, was appropriately priced and well designed. Enjoyed a local amber on draft, followed by a D'Usee, a renowned French cognac. Bar tender was top notch. Good service

Yelp
I visited on Tuesday 6th Dec evening. The service at the Bar was excellent, Amy was really sweet & although she was busy excellent service, thanks. Food was delicious, the escargot was cooked just right. The one star sadly removed was because of due to the front desk. Attitude and not very welcoming. The hotel is beautiful 1911 built, well-maintained.

Yelp
The Skirvin is top notch! Form the moment we pulled up, we were warmly welcomed and that friendliness continued throughout our stays. The valet was very kind and was helpful in guiding is to the offsite parking lot ($10/ day). When we went out the first night, he was half to help us find the perfect restaurant dor our date night. The front desk staff were also fantastic and made us feel so welcome. They are also a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of the hotel and the art within. Be sure to look up and marvel at the stunning chandeliers! And take note of the carved faces at the top of the columns - they are past governors of Oklahoma. We stayed in room 811 the first time we stayed here then in 509 the second time. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds and pillows are divine! The shower is awesome!! Plenty of water pressure! This further illustrates how much they have invested in keeping this beautiful historic hotel updated. The hotel is MUST when visiting Oklahoma City!

Yelp
This was my first time staying at this hotel, and let me tell you SHEILA at the front desk made it one of the most memorable experiences I've had . I had just finished driving all the way from California and was tired and she was very accommodating and kind... What pleasant demeanor. It was much appreciated... The hotel is very classy and well kept as well.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, perfectly located for exploring OKC. We only stayed one night, but our room was lovely, clean, and comfortable.

Yelp
We came here Friday night for a two-night stay to celebrate my birthday. We had visited this hotel before as wandering tourists wanting to experience some history, but had never stayed here. Janelle, the manager at the front desk, ensured that our stay would be very memorable and one for the books. She and her staff took great care of us during our stay and provided us with the sort of customer service you (unfortunately) rarely experience in this day and age. She does her hotel and the Hilton brand a great credit, and I hope she is recognized for it. The staff at breakfast did a great job of taking care of us, as well. They provided prompt and courteous service despite being inundated with work. The hotel is beautiful, the room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. But overall, the customer service here is what will take you back to the history that is a part of this establishment. We weren't the richest or best dressed people here by far, but Janelle and her staff made us feel like royalty.

Yelp
This hotel is an absolute surprise and pleasure to walk in.....it's like walking back in time...the ambience is perfect...the cocktail lounge is right out of a movie set...while sliding into a red leather booth..while a red baby grand piano player is playing beautiful music and all the while a perfect cocktail is served by a charming elegant bartender...and then get ready to have manager Jabar make you feel like royalty. The rooms are elegant. Who would have known that Oklahoma City could be so classy!!

Yelp
Our stay was overall good at the hotel. It is beautiful and historic and well located. Our service levels were excellent from everyone we met. Where the hotel is getting a bit challenged is the actual room comfort. We were with a large group so many rooms on various floors of the hotel and the same issues on each. First is the air conditioning. We could never get our room anything but too cold or too hot. There was no in between. Everyone either had to set the cold on 65 and let it run full out all day and night to keep the room at somewhere between 68 and 70, or if you set it any higher the room just stayed hot all the time. Every room seemed that way. Second was the water pressure in the shower. I am not exaggerating to say that holding a watering can over my head would have generated twice the shower pressure that the actual shower produced. That meant each part of my body had to be maneuvered under the drip in order to rinse off. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never encountered this to this level before. Temperature was fine, but no pressure. Those two issues, because they are major factors in comfort, outweigh the beauty of the common areas in writing a review. IT was bad enough that I can't recommend the hotel. Stay at a more modern place downtown and visit here to look around.

Gary C.

Yelp
Wonderful, charming old place that has was updated 20 plus years ago and will be getting another extensive renovation. If you want to preserve history, stay in there is a good way to do that.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived we had a wonderful stay here! Brian greeted us warmly and helped us with our bags. Our check in process was seamless. We spent time at the Red Piano Lounge and had such fantastic service! Servers were attentive and genuine. The whole hotel, including our room, was beautiful and you could tell staff did a great job keeping everything clean. I loved that they put a Kleenex box in the elevator so you didn't have to touch the buttons with your bare hands. So clever! Overall we felt very safe due to the safety protocols the hotel put in place and had a lovely stay in OKC.

Yelp
You know when Kevin McAlister went to the hotel in NY? I visited there. This place is like a mini version of that; IN THE MIDWEST!!! Thank you Tason and Jom for the great customer service

Yelp
This is a review for their monthly High Tea. I believe it is the first Saturday every month at 1pm. You will need to call their reservations number to book your table. I was so pleasantly surprised to find high tea in OKC. The Skirvin's dining room has a wonderful old world charm and the tea experience was great! (Note that I may have inflated the ratings because it is just so hard to find a lot of things in OKC, so 5 stars for the experience). The selection of tea was smallish (I believe 8-10 flavored black tea, green tea, and herbal tea), but no simple unflavored options (you can request English breakfast tea, but it's not the fancy loose leaf kind). You can try different flavors of tea during your dine-in which is a plus! Unlimited (I believe) tea snacks - today's selection included finger sandwiches, various flat bread pieces, savory pastries on the lower tier of the tea snack tower, sweets on the mid tier (chocolate covered strawberries, lemon bars, macarons, brownies), and choux pastry and deviled eggs on the top tier. There are also scones (American style) with jam, cream (not clotted cream) and honey. Price was $45 per person, plus 20% gratuity, plus tip. So I'll admit that this is a little pricey, and yes, the tea selection could be larger, and yes, the pastries could have been crispier or warmed, but come on, high tea in OKC is a great find! I've been to high tea in larger metropolitans but it's the experience that we are going for here, in a quaint old time hotel, getting dressed up with your girlfriends, sipping tea while there's live harp music playing in the background. I say go splurge and take your girls out to high tea (afternoon tea), and don't forget to wear a fascinator (my friend DIY'ed hers)!

Yelp
I had higher expectations for this hotel. I will not be back. At check in the front desk was so unfriendly you would have thought I was robbing her. Didn't say where any amenities were and just not welcoming at all. I don't even think she smiled back. And this morning the valet, yes the valet, you had to valet, was so rude. Had the worst time. I mean, if you hate your job, find another one.

Yelp
Here's a Hilton that's like most Hilton's. PeoplE are very helpful, hotel is exquisite, the rooms are clean, comfortable and dead quiet. There are multiple outlets and USB ports. It's one beautiful, comfortable hotel. Oh, it's also a short walk to the OK City National Memorial. And close to Bricktown, tons of great restaurants.

Yelp
We spent one night at the Skirvin Hilton while passing through and spending a little time in Oklahoma City. I got a good deal on the hotel online and I would rate the value for my money excellent; far better than anywhere else I stayed on our 3 week trip. The hotel was beautiful and was very well maintained. It had a historical feel to it, but at the same time, things seemed clean and new. Our room was a decent size and I found the bathroom fairly large. It was very fancy. The hotel was a short walk from Bricktown, where there's lots of restaurants and entertainment. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The bathroom was so gross. There were long dark strands of hair all over the bathroom! For a $500 room, which was our rate with several weeks prior reservation, however my daughter called about 3 days prior and her rate was significantly less, why idk; it was so gross I was uncomfortable in the room bc I wasn't sure it had been cleaned! We were only in the room a few hours or I would have change rooms but we did not have time to do that, we were there for a wedding. I did send in complaint and no one responded..... very nasty and they are not concerned evidently ....... grossness at top dollar!

Yelp
We love this hotel so much, not only for its historical value but also for its top-notch staffing. The food has always been delicious, and the bartenders in the Red Piano Bar are both skilled at mixing drinks and are fun conversationalists as well! Whenever my husband and I stay in town, this is our go-to place!

Yelp
Loved this hotel. You can tell the staff here takes pride in this property. I also hosted a meeting here and it went flawlessly. The valet parking and the room service were my favorite parts. For sure try the goat cheese pizza it was very good! My only request would be to include lotion. I can't remember the last Hilton property I stayed in that didn't offer that toilet tree. Even the lower cost Hilton properties do!

Yelp
During our cross-country trip, we decided to stay in Oklahoma for the night. The Skirvin Hilton was beautiful. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the valet was quick! There is not a single complaint about his hotel. In the room, the bed was comfy, the shower was big, and room service was spectacular. It also has a unique feel, and it's gorgeous inside. We got to chat with the two valet gentlemen who were there during check-out, and they were SO nice. They gave us food suggestions and sights to see. I am definitely planning to come back to Oklahoma, and I know exactly where I will be staying!

Yelp
Whenever I come to OKC for work or otherwise, if it is at all possible, I stay here. The service is always good. The bar and restaurant are top notch! Valet is available as well. One star was lost because the swimming pool in the basement is TINY. It's an old world designed building and it holds up that to that level of class.

Yelp
Old School - evokes feelings of glamor and how travel at one time was not just about the destination, but also creating a true sense of comfort and connection. The moment you walk into the lobby, you can picture days gone by and how this was once the place for movers, shakers and power brokers to gather, hobnob, create deals and also probably do some shady stuff - it's what happens. The Skirvin is rich in history and rich in comfort. Room are comfortably appointed and have ample space. Beds have some give, but higher end. Lower floor views are not that great due to the parking garage built right next to it, but get higher and you can see parts of Oklahoma City. The Red Piano Bar in the lobby is great. Comfortable seats and a mellow vibe which allows you to sink into conversation and idle the hours away sipping quality cocktails - bonus - live piano music. Enjoy!

Yelp
This is a lovely old hotel but if you get room 717, run don't walk - you will hear the LOUD noise of the elevator every 11 seconds for your entire stay. You will hear it in your dreams. You will lose your mind.
