Yelp
I love the funkiness of this hotel, it's so different than the rest of Aspen luxury hotels. I feel the young vibe and energy, cozy, modern and cool! The rooftop lounge has amazing views, this is definitely the new party center of Aspen. Check it out the restaurant it's called The Living Room, located on the 2nd floor serving variety of food. This place is perfect for apres ski. Ellie if I'm not mistaken the name of the girl at the concierge was very friendly and helpful, thank you!

Yelp
I am absolutely IN LOVE with Sky Residences at the W Aspen. Stayed here for 2 weeks and kept extending our stay here because I have never had better service anywhere else. Madison and her team are always there when you need them. We've been in Colorado for 6+ weeks and stayed in Vail, Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Aspen and Sky Residences topped them all, and even the staff at the W Hotel literally blew us away. Very pet friendly and our new little family member, a Siberian Husky puppy, was welcomed with open arms and so much love. Thank you so much guys! Hope to come back next year!!! I may edit this because I could go on and on about how great they are.

Yelp
W Aspen might be the nicest W I have been too. It's located at the base of Aspen Mountain with beautiful rooftop Mountain View's. The hot tub on the sky deck is incredible (wish I brought my suit). Went to a polo party on the 2nd floor which was electric. W Aspen knows how to party.

Yelp
I was able to go to opening weekend this Labor Day at the W Hotel! They have truly impressed me! From the Valet at the entrance to the waitresses at the Wet bar they are knowledgeable and friendly! We had an incredible lunch by the pool enjoying their Cesar salad, Fondue and Aperol Sprtiz! It will be a summer staple! Such a fun place to meet up with friends since it's totally open to the public and not just hotel guests!

Yelp
This is my new favorite hotel in Aspen! Great staff, service, and amazing rooms. Love the hotel restaurant and the overall atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back to the W Aspen anytime I'm in town! Also conveniently located to downtown.

Yelp
Great boutique like property! Amazing food at the Living Room. Not so much for families more for adults. LOVED the service so attentive.

Yelp
I wasn't crazy about the W only because they make you wear a mask in the lobby and the breakfast food was absolutely horrible and on top it's a tiny pool and the Jacuzzi is only lukewarm

Yelp
Meh. Was hoping to love it. One hour to get a hummus app. No apologies upon delivery. Lots of staff running around, but never making eye contact. And we got charged for the hummus plate, it should have been comped. Beautiful views. Hummus tasted great. Service was very frustrating. Especially when you have a hungry 2 year old. Wouldn't consider lodging there based off of this restaurant experience.

Yelp
Terrible customer service! They told us to put our names for a reservation and they would call us back when it's our turn, they never did, when we called them back they said that they forgot and they could make us a new reservation

Yelp
I always enjoy staying here and so much is because of the staff. Always friendly, helpful and engaged. Craig and Damien were super helpful checking me in and Tyler and Ben at the Wheels desk were awesome. Both super friendly, informative and a pleasure to talk with. Ben let me talk his ear off on his local knowledge - both great guys. The shuttle service is top notch and the guys even set me up to drive their BMW through their demo program. This is my go to place in Aspen - they have it figured out.

Yelp
Not impressed for a W it is more like a hostel. Restaurant looks like a college cafeteria. Rooms are like a dorm room. I am a life time titanium stayed 1100 Nights in 13 years. This one is off my list. It was better when it was the Sky.

Yelp
Man what a place! Very well done, rooftop bar is off the HOOK, the staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond for everything we asked for! Be sure to check out the bar on the second story level ... fun spot to sit back and enjoy the surroundings if you don't feel like heading up to the roof!

Yelp
This review is about the dining at the W, the Living Room. Every other department of the hotel is phenomenal. We had breakfast at the Living Room multiple times and every single time we waited super long for the food. The menu was small and the same every day, and the food was so-so. The servers were rude, there was only one server who was kind and timely, named Joc. The other servers had attitudes and treated my siblings and I ruder because we are younger than their usual customers. We brought our coffee in from another store, and the server came up to us and said "Do I really have to tell you about the drinks again? I am confident I told you already you can't have outside food or drink in." She was very condescending. When we finally came back to eat, we ordered our food right away and I told the server exactly what I had been ordering the days before, and she said "Oh wow that's a lot of modifications," very scornfully. We asked to have the food out very soon seeing as we had a reservation to get somewhere and they had already made us wait to finish our drinks, and she said "Honestly we're super busy, I can't guarantee we can get the food out soon." The restaurant was... less than half full. We asked if this was "busy" for them, and she said she had 20 tables... we counted and there was 10 tables, and it shouldn't be that hard seeing as the menu is tiny. (My boyfriend and I both work at restaurants... we understand what a "busy" restaurant looks like.) They ended up making us extremely late for our reservation. This type of untimely, rude service at the Living Room has been repeated throughout our entire stay at the W, unfortunately. You'd be better off going to one of the great bakeries in walking distance from the hotel for breakfast. I hope they can add some training for the servers because every other department of the hotel is amazing.

Yelp
Great location, kick ass roof top bar and hot tub. Rooms are cool and trendy. Meal at the living room, was the worst food I can remember being served. We had six people and not one of us ate their dinner. We actually went out for Pizza after our fiasco of a meal. The Pork tenderloin would be better used as a club to defend yourself than to be eaten. The half chicken was not even recognizable and looked like half a pigeon it was so small, which would have been fine had tasted good. The only item we all devoured were the tater tots. I suggest staying here and eating and drinking elsewhere. Although at $1800/nt you would expect good food, which has always been our experience at W hotels.

Yelp
Dinner at the restaurant there was pretty awful. We went there thinking it would be a full menu and the changed it to a tasting menu for Christmas Eve for $165 a person... not worth it at all. First two courses lacked any coherent flavors that worked together. Main courses came out cold the first time but they fixed that. We asked to have bread for the table (which they severely overcharge for) they brought us some basic white bread that was burnt. Please save your money and do not go here.

Yelp
Loved our stay at the W, will keep us coming back to Aspen! Perfect get away while staying away from the typical stuffiness you'd expect of Aspen. Breakfast was amazing, Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a carb fill must. Lunch/dinner views were amazing, had no issue with service, food was reasonable and large portions. Very attentive staff!! Pillows and bed are unbelievably comfortable, groovy 70's style vibes, very modern rooms. An older crowd might not appreciate the ambiance as I did. Will be back!
