We had their soup and salad bar which was nicely stocked and the dressings were good. The potato soup was wonderful. I had the chopped steak, mashed potatoes and fresh green beans and they were all delicious. We stayed at the lodge for the weekend and ate at the restaurant 3 times and it was delicious all three times. The views are gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Meal was great! We decided to eat lunch while we waited out the fog so we could have a better view for our hike. The staff was very friendly and prompt. No complaints. We unfortunately didn't have the best view today but this won't be our last trip. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed our time here! Wonderful views, great buffet. I had mashed potatoes, beef veggie stew, a roll, saute veggies, and a little pulled pork. All the food was seasoned to perfection! Family members enjoed baked potatoes, chicken strips, salad. I was really impressed for $17 the buffet was great (half priced for kiddos). The staff was nice and friendly as well.

We ate here for dinner and came back for the breakfast because the restaurant it that good! The grilled chicken sandwich, chicken fried steak, and hamburger were all delicious. We tried 3 different mixed drinks and all were awesome. Definitely try the Rosy Maple! The breakfast was also awesome and large portions. The pancakes are as big as the plate! The omelette and bacon was top notch. 🙌🏻 Oh, and the view is priceless!

We had breakfast, lunch and a dessert sampler at supper time and everything was delicious! We had an omelette, breakfast sandwich and the chicken fried chicken. We recommend all of those! I’ve never had chicken so tender! The view from the restaurant is amazing! Everyone was very friendly and appeared happy to be there.

This place is beautiful!! You cannot beat these views. Service was also outstanding. Everyone was so welcoming. Our waitress, Susie, was very attentive, sweet & did a great job. Food at breakfast time was so-so...we had the buffet & it was good, just nothing to write home about. At lunch, we also had the buffet & it was delicious!! They had fish, chicken fried steak, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, all different veggies & some amazing deserts. Would definitely recommend it here.

My son and I stopped in on June 22nd at 10:30 a.m. we were offered a choice of having a breakfast menu or buffet. We opted for the menu. I forgot the named breakfast item but it came with 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of meat and choice of biscuit/gravy or toast. I found everything to my liking. We were seated by a large window that showcased a view of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Our server made sure we had what we needed (as it should be). Good pricing for the food and experience.

The food is always great, and my husband and I visit often. But today the hostess sat us down and we waited for 30 minutes without a server ever even coming by to take our drink order. We watched every single other table around us be waited on. One server finally said, I'll be with you as soon as I can so we continued to wait but never saw her again. We finally just gave up and walked out. We love the food but after this experience we don't plan on coming back.

We enjoy eating here when we visit the lodge. Many days, they have a buffet, but some meals are menu service only Today, we enjoyed the soup and salad bar - it the menu service is excellent too. The views are stunning and not to be missed and the service is outstanding too! Great views and wonderful food in a friendly, comfortable environment at the highest point in Arkansas is not to be missed!

I am shocked by the fact that there is only one other rating. More shocked that that rating is only 1-star! This place is incredible! It has the Parkitecture vibe of so many National Parks coupled with insanely good prices! (that are never found at said National Parks) I got a steak dinner for $17. And it was great! I also got a craft beer with it, a Mexican lager, for $4! How is this real? I also got to hear some delightful Southern drawls coupled with beautiful views! Am...am I moving to AR?!

The view is fantastic, but the food was slow and terrible. Worst piece of chicken I have ever been served at a restaurant. The worst part is it took over an hour to get it. Left hungry.
