My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Skye Picture House. Stewart and Sarah are genuinely some of the kindest and warmest people you will meet! We had some car trouble on the way to Skye and Stuart went above and beyond to help us. Thank you very much for your kindness and help, Stewart. We appreciate it so much. The accommodation itself was brilliant, probably the most picturesque place we've stayed at. Amazing views, very comfortable and clean rooms, overall very cozy and homey! We will definitely be back someday to stay here again.

We stayed here in early May for two nights and enjoyed our stay very much in this cute hotel and absolutely beautiful location. Comfortable beds and a short drive into town for dinner. Sarah was a great host. Scones tea/coffee and milk were provided which was nice but you’ll need to get your own breakfast.

A really idyllic place to stay in the Isle of Skye. I highly recommend for any couple looking for a quiet, romantic break away.

With our family we booked two rooms allowing us to take enough time to visit the Isle of Skye. What a beautiful, quite guest house just next to the water. Super quiet and so relaxing. The lounge area with its large windows invites to just sit there and absorb the beautiful surroundings. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the pleasant and interesting conversation with the host, before driving off and exploring this amazing part of Scotland.

Really cannot fault this place. From the start we arrived early and the hosts gave us a lovely warm welcome and also had the room ready for us which was greatly appreciated. Sarah showed us around and explained everything to us. The views from the guest house are to die for, it was absolutely stunning. The room was immaculately clean and the bed i have to say was one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept on in my life. Me and my friend had the best nights sleep of our whole trip there. The location was an ideal base for us as we were planning on exploring all directions on the island. The breakfast we had each morning was absolutely delicious - a lovely selection of home made items at the buffet and porridge made especially by Sarah upon request. But most of all they were the most perfect accommodating lovely hosts you could ask for. Nothing was ever a bother to them or an issue and we appreciated every little thing from Sarah taking my friends towel and top and drying them off for him after he went for a swim in the loch to going out her way to get the maps out and show us locations to visit that day. They really were an absolute delight and so helpful. |Really cannot fault at all, I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Skye.

Stewart and Sarah are possibly the kindest, communicative and most caring people on earth. The want to please their guests as much as possible. The rooms are quite basic but perfectly fine. The breakfast is excellent with fresh bread from their own kitchen. Be sure to try Sarah's own porridge. Delicious!

We recently stayed at Skye Picture House, the accommodation is spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable. The buffet style breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. With spectacular views over Loch na Cairidh the location is beautiful beyond compare. The hosts Stuart & Sarah were extremely friendly and really helpful. Even the resident hound 'Zee' was always pleased to see us and was quite happy for us to throw her squeaky ball on the Loch side lawn for her to chase. We honestly cannot recommend Skye Picture House highly enough. It really is the perfect base from which to explore the spectacular Isle of Skye.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is really stunning with its views over to the island. Guests are free to use the downstairs lounge, there is outside seating near the water, breakfasts were good and we benefitted from the expert advice of our hosts in respects of best times to visit the places we want to see and the restaurants to eat in. We just wished our room was bigger - we did feel cramped because room and bathroom were small.

Yelp
We were looking for lodging in Portree for our trip to Isle of the Skye and everything was booked, so I found the Sky Picture House which was a little further from some of the big sights, but it turned out for the best because we had a great experience. The B&B is located right on the a loch and has absolutely amazing views! The property is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very nice. The breakfast was great and the porridge was the best we had on our entire trip through the UK! Overall I'm actually glad we ended up staying here instead of Portree, it was much nicer and really a pleasant surprise.
