Great pizza, the crust is just the right thinness, the sauce and cheese are perfect, with fresh toppings. I like how the pizzas are displayed and the variety of pizzas. I also think the price is right. I get the 10.00 dollar special, two slices and a drink. I do not live in the area but I pass by the restaurant a few times a month and I always stop in for a slice. I am also a combat veteran, and I love supporting another veteran who is busting his hump to put out a great product. I wish you continued success, God Bless you, and God Bless America.

Wow. As a European spoiled by authentic pizza, I honestly didn’t expect to find anything this good in the US But this place proved me wrong in the best way possible! Delicious pizza, super friendly staff, and a clean, spacious atmosphere. Easily one of the best pizza spots I’ve tried here! 🍕😊

Came here for the first time with my wife and daughter. The people working were so welcoming and warm towards us and especially my daughter. My 3 year old really wanted to say thank you and let them know how good their pizza was but the shy bug bit her. To the two amazing ladies working Monday night you guys were great. The Margherita pizza was amazing, same as the habanero chicken. Wow. We all loved it. No wonder youre so highly rated. Best crust style too. 10/10. Thank you again, cant wait until next time. I would've taken photos but before we knew it the slices were gone :)

Paid a visit on August 2nd for the first time. Loved the general ambiance with its patriotic memorabilia and internal decor, which gave it a pleasant and nostalgic atmosphere. Displayed on trays behind a glass facade is a variety of different pizza slices. I tried the sausage, pepperoni, and margarita slices. The margarita slice was quite elegant and was absolutely my favorite slice, with the sausage slice being a very close runner-up. Loved the foldable, droopy, cracker-thin dough with its superb crunch. It had sweet, savory, and delightfully tangy pizza sauce, which was a wonderful blend of fragrant tomatoes, garlic, and herbs. The crust was perfect and was both crunchy and faintly chewy. The aromatic, succulent, and dense mozzarella slices were perfectly spaced apart and set atop a layer of that amazing pizza sauce with chopped fresh basil generously sprinkled all around the pie. The sausage was a perfect, juicy, meat and herb blend that harmonized the entire slice into a delicious, heavenly nirvana. The pepperoni was also pretty good. They were all fantastic, and I'm looking forward to trying out the other different slices. Each slice was nice, and for 5 bucks thrice, you get a savory, superb, satisfying meal. Edit: Overall, this has been a fantastic culinary experience. I will betray my nature as a lifelong northside Chicagoan and humbly admit, without any shame, that I now prefer east-coast style pizza over any variation of pizza that the Second City has to offer. But with that said, the sudden spike in their prices makes The Slice Spot significantly less desirable. I was a habitual weekend patron for the past few months, but with their prices increasing recently, perhaps a visit once a month, if that, may be a more financially viable option. Cheers, Slice Spot, but happy trails for now. I'll see ya when I see ya.

If we could give this place 10 stars, we would. The pizza is great, and there's a huge selection of toppings. They have pre-made thin crust pizzas, and they take your order and do a quick bake, so it tastes fresh out of the oven, without a long wait. They also have a lot of hot sauces and other sauces and toppings to dress up your slices yourself. The manager is so kind to our kids, we've made this a regular place for us. It's a great deal, and we all look forward to coming back!

We love this place! Being from NY... we know NY style pizza and The Slice Spot (also from NY) is spot on...Never disappoints! Besides the cheese pie, you have to try their Habanero Chicken pie! Nicole is the best and loves her customers. Delicious! J & L

Really nice to have a great new york style pizza spot! My 3 and 6 year olds loved it having only had chicago style and typical thin crust. They even master their ‘New york pizza fold’! The pie was great, will be back!

We have Been looking for a good pizza place in the area & we finally found one.. Being from Brooklyn NY once we seen them it was a must try.. We tried 4 different slices of pizza 🍕 & all of them were amazing 🤩 Definitely would recommend them..

Haven't rated a restaurant in awhile, but I had to rate this place. I always drive by this place on my way to my parent's house and it's always poppin'!!! I finally had a chance to swing by and I must say- YUM! I'm a thick crust kind of gal but this thin crust dough (ha!).. it's a must try! The service was great. I would say the ambiance would be good at night considering they have a pool table and a cool looking bar.

I seldom write reviews about pizza places as it's pretty hard to screw up pizza. Yes, some are better than others, but seldom are they inedible. That said, this review is 100% factual with no malice in its posting. Visiting my daughter for the holidays, we decided with all the holiday cooking of the past few days, that ordering pizza by the slice sounded quick and convenient. I ordered the capri slice. Basically it's a caprese salad on pizza crust. Of course, after ordering my pizza my son-in-law was told they didn't have any capri slices. Since my son-in-law was getting to pizza for us, he was put on the spot when they said they could make something close so he agreed. What I got was a thin crust with scant sauce and a thick layer of minced garlic (from a jar). I love garlic, but this was gross. Then they added a very small piece of fresh mozzarella and some raw underripe tomato slice. Fresh basil was also not on the pizza and the crust was floppy. All I can say is that It was inedible. Very disappointing. One bite and to the garbage it went. They also shorted the total order but my son-in-law is waiting for the credit card to reflect the charge so he can dispute it. Not sure where all the good reviews came from. I question their validity. This was truly one of the worst pizza slices I've ever had.

The kind of place that will give you a free apple juice for the toddler and then cut up her slice. And that crust... it's what I imagine pizza to be like in Europe?? Such a West Chicago gem.

Good options at reasonable prices! I arrived around 1pm & ordered 5 different slices (New Yorker, Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Chicken, Chi Town & the Spinach White Pie) but they were all cold. They warm them up before serving but by the time I made it home, they were cold again. The ones I really wanted to try were not available (Jersey-Rita & Jersey Pie). My favorite was the Spinach White Pie. It feels like a 90s pizza place & the aromas reminded me of an old Chuck E. Cheese joint. Definitely recommend but hopefully they're fresh out of the oven next time!

This is not the best pizza I've had in Chicagoland, this is not the best pizza I've had in Illinois, this is the best pizza I've ever had anywhere in my entire life. Period. I grew up in Miami south Florida, and all I ever one was cheap chain pizza from the big 3 and mom and pop places doing riffs on NY Style pizza. This pizza not only emulates that style, it crushes it with an ease that is remarkably complex and sophisticated while remaining delightfully familiar and cozy. The cheese is fresh and pungent, the crust is crisp and flop free, the sauce is light and tangy, and each bite is profoundly perfect and better than the one proceeding it. Never in my entire 33 years of life have I come across a more perfect pie. You can taste the passion, experience, and freshness in this pizza, let this be the benchmark for everyone pizzeria is in the Midwest. This isn't your pub/tavern style soggy/floppy square pizza crackers. This is old school Eye-talian real world pizza that is as accessible as it is artisanal. You MUST put this on your bookmarks list. I am not even kidding when I tell you I would drive over 2hrs for this pizza. It's that damn good! Run, don't walk.

Stopped by for a quick bite at the Slice Spot. It was a good and quick in and out situation. It's a pretty big place that had plenty of open space and seemingly a game-room that was in the works, or something like that. I saw a couple of pool tables, but it probably just wasn't game time at 1230pm on a weekday. For food, I had a couple slices of cheese, which was good New York style slices. The first slice was piping hot and super-crispy. Really good stuff. I would say, the only thing is it had a bit less sauce than I'd prefer. Interestingly, the 2nd slice had cooled off a bit and wasn't quite as crispy, but on the other hand it had much more sauce on it. Anyway, the owner was super-nice and the meal with 2 cheese slices and a can of diet coke was $10.

I love NY style pizza and didn't know what NJ style was like until I popped into this place. The pizza was thin crust and deliciously crispy! You can buy whole pizzas or by the slice. The slices are large cost $4-$5 and takes a few minutes to reheat. The Jersey-Rita with sausage and pepperoni was great with the Margherita Pizza coming in close 2nd. This would not be my go-to for fresh slices of pizza and pricey for just one slice, they have a lot of styles available but when I visited the pizza looked as if it was sitting for quite sometime and they just re-heat the slice in pizza oven, hence the reason why it my have been charred or burnt on bottom, they do have daily specials that looked worth trying for the prices, they also have a gaming area, pool table, dart board, adult gaming-slots, pinball and some arcade games, the atmosphere is definitely family oriented, they were playing a Disney movie when I visited, so a good spot for families with kids, the service was good, they did stop at my table to ask if I need anything, I wasn't highly impressed with my pizza but may try out one of their specials during the week

This is NY pizza. Take it back. When I went didn't even have a slice of sausage pizza available. That's terrible service in this highly competitive area.

Authentic NY/NJ style pizza here in Illinois! Our tastebuds rejoiced! Others in the area have tried but none have succeeded like the Slice Spot. On our first visit we carried out two pizzas: a Chi Town and White Pie. Both kept very well on the 20 minute drive home. The white pizza reminded me exactly of what I've experienced eating at the Jersey Shore, as well as in NYC and it was fantastic. The Chi-Town with Italian beef and giardiniera screams "Chicago!"and is sure to please any home town guy or gal!

i'm not in their political corner. and anyway, the quality has significantly diminished since the new owners took over. most of the good reviews are when joe ran the slice spot. he's now in glen ellyn, and the pizza is great.

Best pizza in the West Chicago/ Warrenville area. If you are looking for original NY style, this is the spot. Very nice staff, clean and amazing pizza. The owner is a Marine vet as well! Go try this spot if you want the best pizza in the area! If I could give 10 stars, I would. P.s. I NEVER leave reviews, so that should say something.

We were here on a Saturday afternoon looking for a quick bite. Ordered cheese breadsticks and 20" pizza pepperoni, Giardinara with green peppers. The breadsticks were very good I highly recommend giving them a try. Overall pizza was very tasty thin not as crunchy as I like but it's New York style so it's different. This place has a extra room next to dining room where you can play pool or gamble. We met the owner as well he was very attentive with his service and so were the waitresses. It's so nice knowing there are still people out there that take time to talk to their customers and get to talk a little bit about their business.

From the tasty sauce to the fresh mozzarella to the crispy crust baked in a real pizza oven, this pizza has it all! If you're looking for this kind of pizza, here it is! Finally! I have been looking for an NY/NJ style pizza for so long. This place hits the spot. The crust is pure perfection, it's crispy yet soft. Very satisfying to hear the crunch when you bite into a slice. We bought 4 slices to try (ate it in our car), halfway through each slice (The New Yorker, Sicilian, White Garlic, & BBQ Chicken). We went in and placed an order for a full pizza & a couple other single slices to bring home. The sauce to topping to dough ratio is perfect. Each slice is ~$5, great for size, taste & quality! The service was great. The staff was so friendly & welcoming. 10/10 would recommend & come here again. I have a feeling I will be back quite often.

Incredible pizza and incredible service. We moved from the east coast to Chicagoland in 2017 and really missed the pizza. We moved away from Chicago last year and now we miss The Slice Spot. Great food, great people. Will always stop by when in town.

I can't say enough good things about the Slice Spot! If you didn't already know how good their pizza is, you've been missing out, but now it's even better. This isn't just a carryout place anymore. They've got the dining room decked out full of booths, perfect for date night or family night, a huge beer menu, pool tables, darts, video games, pinball machines--fun, fun, fun! You should make this place part of your next weekend

We love pizza. This place is an absolute must try. It will become your favorite if you like thin pizza with a nicely browned crust. Nicole is so sweet and attentive to the customers. The owner is visible, making the pizzas and greeting the customers. This place is super clean with plenty of seating. You will not be disappointed.

Look I'm from the east coast originally and Chicago people have no idea what good pizza really is. After trying place after place calling themselves New York or Jersey style thin crust and being disappointed. I was excited when a fellow east coaster suggested this place. From the outside it looks like a standard Jersey style pizza place, hole in the wall no signage. Inside is no frills either, it's just good f&@king pizza. The crust is perfect, the sauce reminds me of home and when I fold that pie cut piece (yes pic cut! not squares you hacks) and take that first bite and the juices just flow out its heaven. My daughter had 7 girls over one night, I bought 2 extra large pizzas expecting to have leftovers and it was all gone, that's a lot of pizza. Every kid wanted to know where I got it from. Trust me when I tell you I'm lazy but I'll drive 30 minutes for this slice of Jersey. The Slice Spot is bringing real pizza to the Chicago suburbs, thank effin God!

Apparently Joe has left and there's new owners. On their Facebook post, they mentioned that they had salads. They said this is our new offering and it was dated two days ago. That was one of the reasons I went in today upon going in there they said they have no salads they were not apologetic for it. I wasn't gonna sit and argue, and they looked like they could care less. Not a very good start to a business that you just took over It was a completely unwelcoming environment When Joe was there you felt comfortable and you felt welcomed he'd talk to you and he would check on you Then, when we got the pizza, I knew already. It looked different than what Joe was selling. I think they changed their cheese, but I've never had a greasier pizza in my life. I actually feel sick right now I couldn't even finish my first slice and I was starving when I went in there, and when Joe was there, I would easily eat two slices And there was some woman walking around checking on everybody but us and I had a couple friends with me and they were completely turned off not only by the food but the attitude of the people working. She literally told us to get up and put our garbage next to the pizza slice display and my friend is like is she serious right now? I said yes she is and my friend said I'm never coming back here again everybody else left all their garbage all over the table. We were the only ones that had to clean our table And I'm not above cleaning the table. I have no problem doing so it's just the way that it was said to us. We also had to move tables 3 times because they were completely unstable When Joe used to make the pizza, he would talk to everybody while doing so. Taking an interest in the customer and sometimes making small talk and being pleasant goes a long way when you're running a business whoever was making the pizza today didn't even look up and acknowledge anybody in the restaurant then there was no thank you when we left or come back again no nothing We all left completely unsatisfied in about every aspect the fact that they didn't offer what they said they did, and I think all of us are done here And all I have to say is I miss joe. Unfortunately, I just don't see this place lasting. And I've never really been wrong on that. Give it time but I don't see it working out.

I left Jersey in '85 and have been looking for real NY/NJ pizza. 19 of those years I've been in IL on a quest for a "decent couple a slices". Finally this week I had a taste of home. This place is awesome. I literally had a tear in my eye it was so good. If you prefer the traditional Chicago options this is not for you. That's okay. But if you want an authentic NY/NJ slice or two you gotta try this place. Heck it wasn't until recently that places here started offering slices at all. Back home every place does. Definitely going back. Next time I getting a whole pie! Any chance you could also open a decent bagel place with salt bagels?

The people there are nice and friendly . We came in late after a softball game and were greeted with smiles. Amazing daily specials.

The thin crust pizza here is easily top 2 best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Walking in the place doesn't that great and it looks like it is still under construction tbh. The server was cleaning up a table but immediately said hello to me when I walked in and asked if I wanted something to go or to eat in. He then washed his hands before helping me, which is a practice that is alarmingly scarce if you pay attention, which I very much appreciated. I got the margherita, pepperoni, pepperoni + sausage and the white pizza. All were phenomenal; tomato sauce very tasty and not lacking or too much, cheese was gooey and hot, and the crust was a 12 out of 10. The decor is a little bit of a eye sore but the pizza is definitely some of the best in the Chicago land area and they have a surprisingly good beer selection.

This is the best pizza in Chicago land and it's not even remotely close! Joe is a stand up guy from Jersey who knows how to make a pie the right way. If he were in a better location this place would not be able to keep up with demand! It's that fricken good!!

A guy named Joe from Jersey just opened a new joint in W. Chicago making street slices and Sicilian. Best NY slice anywhere in this area. On Roosevelt Rd. crispy crust not too salty, good chew and perfect ratio on sauce and cheese. Had a sausage and pepperoni slice. Perfect! Sicilian was fresh out the oven. Light and airy with a thin layer of fresh sauce on top. 2 amazing slices and a Coke for $9. I've had street slices in NYC that are not as good as what Joe is serving fresh and hot each day. Try it right out of the oven then take a whole pie home! I'll be back to my new favorite spot.

I was called and asked if I wanted to try a slice by a friend while I was in the drive thru from a Wendy's. I know, I'm living the healthy life lol. But I changed my order. Thinking a slice a pizza is going to put me in an uncomfortable situation I just got nuggets. HO LEE CHIT!!!!!! I had the slice of pizza and was about as full as I would have been had I just eaten a piece of paper. There was nothing to the pizza. At all. A small French fry would have done more. 3 tater tots would have been about the same. ‍ maybe on the east coast pizza is how people stay in shape but you gotta put something on it here. You are in competition with lays potato chips for who has more air and less substance. I'm kidding but not really. It tasted alright though. Like a fancier thin crust frozen pizza

Been there a few times. Their pies are really good NY style with the crust being just the right amount of crispy. We have tried the cheese, cheese with jalapeño and the white garlic (''Bianca") and all have been really delicious. I tried something new this time around and decided to do the half/half and the quality didn't disappoint. If he has the Detroit style I would recommend those too. The service is great and the owner is super friendly and always conscious of quality. It's a nice spacious eating area just like a pizzeria. Nothing fancy but no one goes there for the ambiance just the food. Ha.

From the outside this place doesn't look like anything special, but just you wait until you take a bite of this AMAZING pizza. Immediately you are blown away by the crust. It is so good! If you don't like a crispy crust go to a different pizza joint! I had 2 slices (they are huge) and I was stuffed when I was done. I had the BBQ Chicken pizza and the Pepperoni and Sausage pizza. Both were great, but they both had totally different flavors. I was very tempted to order the White Garlic Pizza.....but fear of upsetting the wife for two days with Garlic breath allowed me to choose wisdom. I met the owner Joe. Seems like a down to earth guy from Jersey! Very friendly and personable! Come check this place out!

OMG, seriously the best pizza in town. I've been coming here the last few months and they never disappointed me. I usually get either a cheese slice or the white pizza and both are so good. The staff is great and if you love NY style pizza this is your place to try in West Chicago.

Look for the end unit that doesn't have a sign in awning, and you landed in NJ. Is it the best pizza I have ever had.....no, would I be a regular, for sure. Hidden gem! The whole family loves this place. Great to pick up a quick slice or whole pizza. Crust is a knockout ! The owner is so kind sometimes he just adds a free slice to have you try something different.

Stopped in there this past Sunday with my sister because my son was just born at Central Dupage. I got to say the service was absolutely excellent, the owner was there and very upbeat and energetic. Now let's get to the pizza. It was the absolute best East Coast style pizza I've had. Slices were huge!!! and were the perfect mix of floppy and crunchy and the sauce he uses is to die for! I'd recommend them to anyone who's looking to grab a quick few slices or a few whole pizzas for a party I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

This place was getting all kinds of good reviews for New Jersey style pizza. I had to check it out for myself. I was not disappointed. Great staff, very personable. Ordered the pepperoni pizza with fresh mozzarella. Vey nice undercarriage. Terrific crunch. Cheese melted nice. Cooked just the way you like it.

This is the ONLY respectable pizza in the suburbs. Seriously. Pizza is delicious and legit east coast/jersey style. Something that's been impossible to find out here since forever. I bought two slices, finished them and went back for 2 more. Joe's a class act and understands the little things to making a customer feel special. Support the hell out of these guys, they're doing it right.

So glad we finally checked this place out! Don't be thrown off by the exterior aesthetics. It's the end unit of an old strip mall, no sign, etc. But your whole life you heard to not judge a book by it's cover and this is a prime example. Walk into this brightly lit clean establishment and get yourself a slice. This is a NJ style pizza joint. If you want a NJ style pizza in the western suburbs area, look no further. We had a white pizza (garlic, ricotta), jersey style (sausage and pepperoni) and a cheese slice for the kids. Everyone really enjoyed it, and if I'm being honest I came back today for seconds. My standout was the pepperoni which has a nice kick to it. Family owned small business with a great product. They've earned our business and I hope anyone reading this checks it out. The owner Joe seems like a really good dude.
