We visited during the low season, so the restaurant and reception were closed, which was clearly communicated before booking. The room was fantastic, and Gillian and Henry stayed in touch throughout, providing all the information we needed. The location is incredible—right in front of the beach. The hotel has an excellent structure, with spacious rooms and great amenities. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning in the summer to fully enjoy everything this place has to offer.

My young children, husband and I stayed in The Smugglers Inn this weekend. We absolutely loved it. The views are amazing from every angle. The premises is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our dinner was one of the best we have had. We had the short rib and it was unreal!!! |The best part of The Smugglers Inn is the staff. Each and every member of staff was so friendly and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They work very hard and do their best to ensure everyone enjoys their stay! We will definitely be back!! I I would recommend anyone to stay here and definitely dine here.If I could give this place a 6th star I would!!

My husband and I stayed one night during our trip to Ireland. Highly recommend. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in the room with the patio overlooking the bay. The restaurant had the most delicious food and drinks. The mushroom risotto and roast chicken were so delicious. Staff was kind and attentive. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return someday.

For the second time Gillian looked after the booking and everything else ran smooth with all the waiters. The food was fantastic and my kids enjoyed it very much. We went back the next day for the breakfast and the porridge is out of this world, my personal favorite. Thank you Gillian and all the staff, and the chefs of course!

Words can’t really describe how beautiful the location is of this hotel, we were blown away with the views.||We had one of the ground floor rooms with a terrace and a sea view, it was very special. The room was lovely too with a lovely comfy bed and a great shower!||We also had an evening meal in the restaurant, the food was delicious. Definitely one of the best meals we’ve had whilst on this holiday around Ireland.||Breakfast was also lovely with a great selection of options to order from.||Lastly, we have to highlight the staff who work at this hotel, they were all amazing. So helpful, friendly and hardworking.||If you fancy switching off completely in beautiful surroundings, we would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel.

I have not stayed here but have gone to the restaurant 3 times now. It is a great restaurant on weekends but not Michelin star prices. Wouldn't bother during the week. This has been a slow season , so to be fair I would not go too hard on them. Myself and my father had 2 drinks a starters and main course each £162 euros without a tip. I'm sorry but that is dearer than Dublin prices. Asked how much the black sole was "all the golfers get it" 87euros a person..sorry but you can't charge these prices when then place is starting to look like Bray in Dublin. Turbot was good but just good. Wouldn't eat here again unless your an American golfer and fall for the Leprechaun rip off.|Garrett

We have wanted to visit to lovely hotel for a couple of years now and our recent stay there more than lived up to our expectations. The hotel itself is situated in a beautiful part of Kerry right on the sea front with incredible sea views and as a bonus it is very close to Waterville Golf Course. Our sea view room was spotless. The staff were so friendly throughout our stay. The quality of the food served at this hotel is second to none and for us it certainly was. We will definitely visit here again. Thank you for a great experience.
