It’s always such a wonderful store to shop & you never know what new treasure you will find. The owner Rula is so lovely & the epitome of style too. I have shopped here for many years and always have been very happy with the quality and price. Everything is guaranteed authentic -She makes sure that she authenticates every single piece. I would definitely put this on your shopping list as a Must stop if you’re in San Marco. Or if you're looking for that special vintage piece!

I had such a wonderful experience shopping at The Snob! The staff was absolutely amazing, warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The products were just as impressive: stylish, high-quality, and beautifully curated. You can tell they take pride in both their customer service and their selection. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend The Snob to anyone looking for a top-notch resale shopping experience!

Every time I visit from NYC, I love to stop in to see what things are in store. In addition to having impeccable taste, the store’s owner, Rula, has always been kind/welcoming and generous with her time as I consider potential purchases. I’ve augmented my closet with some excellent finds at The Snob. It’s always a pleasure shopping here, and I look forward to my next visit!

Rula (owner) was INCREDIBLE! This store is a true work of art, passion, and style. All of the pieces were stunning and authentic. Additionally, I felt like Rula understood my sense of style within just a few moments of meeting me. I could be in this store for hours! This stores is a treasure within San Marco!

Google
I had a wonderful experience popping in here after work! I was looking for a vintage LV shoulder bag and found the perfect bag!! Rula hand picked many options for me to look at, all of which were in great condition and reasonably priced. Overall wonderful experience and I will be coming back for any vintage designer needs.

I frequent this store quite often, several of the times I’ve seen this same woman on her phone on what I assume to be live auctioning off some of the items. It’s extremely disheartening, because I will hear her auctioning off and selling items right off the raw for 3-4 times the price the items cost. I’m especially upset because one of the items she “sold” for her personal gain was a purse I gifted my daughter years ago that she brought into this shop specifically with the purpose of knowing it’s easier for those less than fortunate, or can’t necessarily afford the items brand new. Because that’s what I believe the purpose of consignments or “thrift shops” are. I love going to shop the stores for the peace, and relaxation and fun it gives, but it’s immediately taken away when someone is not there to enjoy the shop or experience but is there for their own personal gain, profiting off items people bring in to either donate or give to the store to sell. I find this very disrespectful to the community and can potentially cause a raise in price for those who frequentl this store for the services we already receive.

I have loved this place for years!! They have beautiful things, mostly designer and all in very good nic. From the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty. Are you in the market for LV? They have many beautiful LV bags. What a great boutique!!

Made our 2nd trip to The Snob from Savannah! It is a great shop with a well curated selection of clothing and very helpful staff. We will be back!

Yelp
Rula was very helpful when I brought items to her for consignment. I recently lost both parents, and she was kind, considerate and full of good information. The selection she has for sale is incredible. I love that the men's stuff is on the back wall, so don't walk out if you're looking for the men's clothes. Just keep going!!

Yelp
Great selection of vintage LV bags. This was my 2nd visit to buy one. The owner was extremely helpful and interactive. Highly recommend

Yelp
The owner refuses to give you a copy of the contract she has you sign to hand over your item. She tells you to take a picture of it! What kid of business does that? If you do consign with her, don't expect to get any money or your item back. Items in the store are very old and some smell like they have not been cleaned.

Yelp
I love shopping designer consignment as I love purchasing pieces that already have history. Unfortunately, this store is just not up to par with some others that I have visited in the city. The lady behind the counter didn't greet me or even make eye contact with me as I entered the store. The racks of clothings were extremely confusing. They were very unorganized or stuffed so full of clothes that I couldn't even move a hanger to view a piece. My main complaint is that, even for designer, I felt that some pieces were extremely overpriced. Trust me, you can find way better deals on designer purses and fashion at other consignment stores here in Jax. Don't waste your time here. The service is terrible, the store is a mess, and it's just not priced well.

Yelp
My husband and I were downtown for the long holiday weekend. I LOVE San Marco and I love to shop upscale vintage!! So, as we perused through the square, of course I migrated to "The Snob"!!! This store is amazing with so many beautiful pieces to enjoy!!! I loved looking at all the beautiful pieces! I definitely recommend "The Snob"! It's a must see if you love upscale consignment stores, you'll love THIS PLACE! I bought a beautiful pair of Prada boots!! I love them!!

Yelp
A fantastic consignment shop. Today was my first time in but I will definitely be coming back. I didn't buy anything this trip but did see some lovely items I considered getting tailored to my size. The variety of men's items is significantly smaller (I get it- most men wear socks far past the first sign of a hole) but there is a great selection of women's apparel and accessories. What I enjoyed most of all was my interaction with the woman running the store today. Abby was not only attentive to where I was in the store and what i might need help with (offered to pull items out of the glass display case when she noticed me drooling over a gorgeous pair of Chanel earrings) but she also got to know me! I really appreciate that she took her time to build a relationship with me while I was in the store. It's employees like Abby that turn one-time-shoppers into customers and customers into regulars. Can't wait to visit again, bring friends, and leave fully confident I definitely needed those Chanel earrings.

Yelp
I actually have shopped here for years, before it was even in the location it is today. I had a 24 hour trip to Jacksonville and planned a quick visit to the shop- but I literally just walked out of there today. The store is uncomfortably packed and unorganized. (Nice things need more room to breathe.) I accidentally knocked a bag over while trying to reach for one and it caught onto something on the other side, and the owner was displeased. I tried on a jacket and my friend was holding up a wall mirror that was leaning so I could see myself, and a speaker or router that was leaning against it tipped, and the owner said loudly, "oh, goodness!" And for any size 6 shoe wearers, they're mixed in with size 6.5 (not marked). Overall an unpleasant shopping experience, and I walked away from a pair of Tod's simply on principle. If you're willing to search, and deal with snobbiness for the lower prices, maybe worth it (why I'll give 2 stars instead of just 1) but, honestly, as I get older, it's not. The experience changes everything. Sorry to say I won't feel a need to come back on any future trips.

Yelp
I am in my 80's and it was time to reduce my clothing inventory. I have long been a collector of high end womens' couture, and was once featured in the Jacksonville Journal as one of their "10 Best Dressed Women in Jacksonville". I had heard of The Snob resale store in San Marco and decided to trust them with the sale of some of my most treasured items. The first item I left was a gray haute couture Halston cape. I was, however disturbed that the owner, Rula Carr refused to provide a receipt. When pressed, she finally scribbled "halston cape" on her business card. At the same time, she insisted I sign some sort of terms sheet but had some excuse as to why she could not give me a copy. Many months passed with no sale so I requested return of my cape and said I was coming to pick it up. Suddenly Rula informed me she sold It! What a coincidence. Based on her seemingly fair selling price of my cape, I trusted her with more items. Huge mistake! It's a classic scam to gain someone's trust in the beginning only to rip them off later. Again no receipt. When I wouldn't leave my things the girl at the counter wrote on a phone message pad '"6 Items". No description. One of those items was a Haute Couture Valentino vintage color block top made of premium quality suede, leather and.snakeskin. It had a lining of 40% cupro & 60% acetate. Again many months passed and nothing sold. I called to pick up my 6 items and was told that Rula was out of town and she "had the list of items with her." Apparently, they thought they could fool me (as I'm elderly) regarding computer access to shop records. I was made to wait THREE WEEKS until Rula "returned" and I came in the next day. Rula gave me a sealed envelope and said she "just sold" my Valentino. What a coincidence! I asked what price she sold it for. She answered that since it was "not made of leather but entirely of ACETATE" it was only worth $150.00 (my share $75.00). Rula went on to explain that the entire top was "fake leather" that was made to look like leather. See designer description. This was so obviously a scam that I wanted to warn others not to do business with her. STAY AWAY! Designer description:  "1980s suede and snakeskin top from Valentino. Cut with a round neck and long sleeves it boasts ruched detailing at the cuffs and hem and multicoloured contrast print panels to the front and back. Colour: Multi - Material: Outer: Leather, Lining:40% Cupro, 60% Acetate".

Yelp
Our first impression of the store was not being greeted when we walked in, but instead completely ignored. After shopping for 15 minutes or so, we asked if there was a bathroom we could use quickly so we could continue shopping and not have to leave. The answer was no. Once we came back to the store to finish trying on the things we had previously picked out, we were told that they were closing soon. My friend had about 10 things that she wanted to try on, but after only trying on three and acknowledging to the sales girl that we were moving quickly because we knew what time it was, we were told that they were closed. So instead of allowing her to try the rest of her things on, the sales girl stood and waited for my friend to put her clothes back on so we would leave. Because of their terrible customer service, they potentially lost a large sale. My friend was going to purchase a pair of Chanel sunglasses and a Gucci belt but instead bought a $20 skirt. To add insult to injury, one of the sales girls was talking about a customer she liked and said out loud for us to hear, " she can stay in as long as she wants because she regularly spends a lot of money here." If I were the owner and found out that my employees were pushing paying customers out the door so the employees didn't have to stay late, I would be LIVID.

Yelp
Aptly named. The sales staff was super rude. Yes, I am bigger than your up to size...but I wasn't shopping for myself. Maybe someone else will have a better experience....you will have to be thin...or at least under 25 to get decent service. I can't speak for the quality of the items since the staff was so rude I left not long after stepping into the place.

Yelp
I love The Snob. On my first visit, I scored six tops from the "Two for $10" rack just inside the door. My finds included a NWT ($58) Ann Taylor shell and an Elie Tahari silk/cotton tank. On my next visit, I became the proud owner of a beautiful, 100% cashmere Cynthia Steffe cardigan on sale for $15. Most recently, I purchased a perfect pair of Miss Sixty jeans for $39. Granted, many of the items they carry are much pricier, especially when you get into Prada, St. Johns, etc., but there are definitely treasures to be unearthed to fit almost every budget.

Yelp
When they say Snob they aren't kidding! Very rude to me because I am a young adult even though I fully intended to buy something. Bad service and the staff are all snobs! Want good service? Don't come here!

Yelp
This store has some great finds and great sales, and is organized. The staff was helpful, and funny. It has very high end clothing for reasonable prices. The mens section was small, but also had some good choices. If you like purses and shoes, this is the place to go

Yelp
The customer service is so terrible I'm shocked they get business. Someone needs to inform the employees, just because the name of the store is THE SNOB, doesn't imply they need to act bitchy and snobby. Ive been in this store THREE times, each time hoping maybe it was just a that one employee, maybe the next one will be pleasant. I WAS WRONG. I asked to see a Louis Vuitton handbag, they wouldn't even let me touch it. I walked in the store with a 800 dollar purse, What am I going to do!? Run out of the store with it?! I walked around the store then another purse caught my eye so I asked if they could re open the glass door. She gave me the RUDEST glare. I will no longer be shopping at the SNOB, it is worth the extra hundred dollars to purchase at the Louis Vuitton store, where employees are very professional, happy to serve you and will actually let you hold and try the merchandise.

Yelp
I happened upon this place when looking for a mother's day gift for my mom, I was on a limited budget but the sales lady took the time to pull things out, I ended up buying Chanel bag that's gorgeous and in perfect condition, they have so much more in store than online, I went back recently and got the same great service, I love this place, sorry that someone had a bad experience but there is something for everyone, don't miss this place!
