We enjoyed our stay overall, but a few things really caught our attention.
The staff at the reception was kind and welcoming, but breakfast was a completely different story… 😅
We arrived around 9:50 AM and the entire buffet was cold.
The salads were wilted, the cold cuts tasted fine but clearly looked like they had been sitting out since early morning.
The pancakes were burnt and cold, and some containers were already empty.
For the price, I really felt the quality wasn’t there, which is a real shame.
What shocked us the most was the behavior of the staff. Having worked more than 10 years in hospitality myself, I was honestly appalled.
Before breakfast service even ended, ALL the employees rushed to the buffet to pack up the remaining food into cardboard containers.
By 10:29 AM, everything had already been removed from the buffet and the coffee machines were already in cleaning mode.
It was truly shocking and something I’ve never seen in a hotel of this level.
The nonchalance and lack of attentiveness from the breakfast staff were also very noticeable.
We also tried the rooftop restaurant and unfortunately, it was a complete disaster.
Such a shame, because the place itself was really beautiful.
