The Social Hub The Hague

Staying at 'The Social Hub' was the best choice ever!!|Situated right in front of the central station of Delft and the bus station. |So the location is excellent!!!. Downtown Delft is only a 10 minute walk. Here you can find excellent shopping, supermarkets, cinema and theatre. Also lots of small restaurants!!.||The Hub itself is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are clean and they're very safe. We must honestly say that a regular room for 2 persons is a bit small, but we upgraded to a larger room with a kitchenette.|We could easily fit a one person bed next to the double bed, and it was perfect for the 3 of us. (3 adults) This to dutch standards. The lobby is a nice place to sit, listen to very good music, meet people, and have a small snack or a drink. They also have a restaurant where you can sit and have a nice meal. There is a laundromat, small gym, rooms to have meetings, and also a space for games and social activities.||What we liked and appreciated the most of "The Social Hub" is its personnel. My husband got ill in the middle of the night, and it was no problem to help us find a doctor. The ambulance personnel had easy access to our room.|The day after, they paid meaningful attention to us, which we appreciated very much.||We would like to give our thanks and appreciation to all working at 'The Social Hub' Delft. A very special thanks to Ms. Darla, for making us feel so special and at home. Excellent and very special treatment. |We made some new friends there for sure!!|Thank you very much!!

Extremely disappointing experience with the community supervisor. My daughter was given incorrect paperwork for her address registration, which forced her to return to the municipality and miss classes. When I raised the issue, I was told: "The municipality has updated its requirements regarding the registration forms. Unfortunately, they will no longer accept any forms that have been printed and filled out independently. All forms must be properly completed and signed by our manager before submission." This lack of communication is unacceptable — especially when dealing with students who rely on accurate guidance. On top of that, city taxes are repeatedly charged to my daughter’s account incorrectly. Despite multiple requests to resolve this and asking for a manager’s contact details, the community supervisor refuses to escalate the issue and insists I deal with her — even though she’s clearly unable to resolve it. Very unprofessional and frustrating. Students and parents deserve better support and transparency.

I stayed in the Social Hub for one year as a student. Overall, I would say the experience was pleasant. The service was really good, and every time I had an issue, the staff was there to help. They were also really nice and friendly, and I ended up becoming fond of them. Moreover, everything I needed was there, laundry and gym 24/7, which was really useful. The only thing I could complain about is the kitchen. Since I shared it, we had a lot of issues managing it and keeping it clean, but that’s something that depends more on the guests rather than the hotel itself.

The room was spotless and we had everything we needed from shampoo to hand lotion, coffee and tea, tv and hairdryer... We felt at ease and were able to relax and sleep well. The breakfast choices seemed endless and everything was delicious. Anything you need can be found within walking distance.

The first room we were put into had a couple of stains on the bed which wasn’t the best start to our stay. However, when we told reception they gave us a free upgrade. Great customer service!! Sadly I have forgotten the name of the person on reception who helped us but she was so helpful!

It’s a nice experience staying at the hotel. I felt safe with the security system they have and loved the variety of the breakfast menu. Bathroom was FULLY equipped. Definitely coming back :)

It is a very dynamic, cheerful and good located hotel. All the stuff is so young and so helpful with smiling face all the time. There are free coffee, some cold drinks, and fruits at the reception. You can walk to the city center in 10 minutes. There are too many restaurants, bakeries around the hotel.

The stay was quite pleasant overall. The location is excellent – everything you need is within easy reach. The only downside was that the cleanliness could have been a bit better. Still, it's a good place for a short getaway, and I would recommend it.
