"Luxury Family-Friendly Option on Grace Bay Beach Families looking for a luxury boutique villa style hotel experience will dig the Somerset, which has just 53 rooms spread over eight buildings right on Grace Bay Beach (walking distance to DIY snorkeling). A sort of hotel/villa hybrid, digs are in multi-room suites with fully equipped kitchens. It works great for families, especially as dining out in Provo adds up quickly. Beyond the rooms, there is a 70-foot infinity pool to chill by as well as a lengthy list of activities that will keep the kids busy while you do so. A spa and two restaurants -- one casual, the other more formal -- complete the picture. Oh, and on Monday nights, the property's general manager hosts a cocktail hour with free drinks, tapas, and live music for guests. Tuesday nights are dedicated to BBQs on the beach. The villa resort also works well for couples, as the suites here are beyond spacious and very private and there are a few different swimming pool options."

Our stay was absolutely magical at The Somerset on Grace Bay June 7th-11th. We had book our family trip to Turks at another all-inclusive. That resort messed up one of the rooms reservation and completely unapologetic or willing to assist so my husband and we scrambled to find a back up and what a find it was — this place truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most elegant and serene luxury resorts in Turks and Caicos! If you're dreaming of pristine white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and understated sophistication, look no further. We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom villa, and it felt like our own private paradise. The layout was perfect — gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances, expansive living and dining areas, multiple bathrooms, and that incredible wrap-around balcony with breathtaking views of Grace Bay Beach right outside. The villa was impeccably clean, beautifully appointed with European-inspired touches, and had everything we needed for a relaxing, home-like escape. The location is unbeatable — direct access to one of the world's best beaches, with soft powdery sand and crystal-clear water just steps away. There's also a lap pool for a refreshing swim, and the grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, giving everything a peaceful, intimate vibe (only 53 units total — no crowds here!). The staff were exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From the concierge arranging our snorkeling excursion to the beach team setting up umbrellas and chairs, every detail was handled with care. The on-site dining at LunaSea was delicious, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed luxury — ideal for couples or families. The views were stunning! Our kids even came to visit and we all agreed it was so much better than the resort we had originally booked and CHEAPER! The extra bedroom was perfect for the grandkids to spend the night. Loved this amazing hidden gem and will be back! 5/5 Stars – Absolute perfection! 🌴🏖️✨

Perfect place for a relaxing family vacation. The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The location is excellent. It's a short drive from the airport and easy to get to local shops and grocery stores. The units are very large, which is important for us as we have two young kids. Everyone has space. The parents can get quiet time in the evening or early morning to relax, or catch up on work without waking or bothering anyone else. The kitchens are huge, which we made good use of.||The Kids Club is a true treasure. Ms. Sharon is fabulous. Our daughter (7.5 years old) loves her and wanted to go to Kids Club every morning and afternoon.||All of the staff are truly kind and helpful in every possible way. ||This was our second year here for Thanksgiving and we've already booked for Thanksgiving 2026!

Our Somerset on Grace Bay condo was clean & comfortable. The view was nice , overlooking the lap pool and the waters of Grace Bay. The staff at both the pool & beach were very good and always ready to help. (Especially Collin) The drinks & food from the pool bar were great and the Rum Punch at checkin and managers happy hour was tasty. (Billy was friendly at the front desk & bartender at happy hour) |Bottom line—-it’s a great place to stay and near plenty of restaurants for dinner.|Highly Recommend !!

This is such a hidden gem! We rented a 5 bedroom penthouse and it was spectacular! The staff are so friendly (Nadine, AJ, Big Daddy, Ronaldson, Billy). The pool and beach were beautiful! Tuesday party was so fun. We will be back!

Our 5th year back. We look forward to the week every year. Relaxed experience, compared to a Resort packed with people. I book for the Lap Pool swimming in the sun every day for exercise is a dream. Sunset walks to town we cherish as well.

We just left The Somerset. As you can see I do not review places often but felt some things needed to shared. Yes the staff is warm & friendly. Yes the villas are spacious. But if you are looking for convenience, this resort is not it. There is no room service, no hot tub, no espresso machine on property, hard to get a taxi, limited beach service, the pool restaurant closes at 6, no actual building for the kids club that they rave about… We went 3 days buying expensive bottled water at the pool restaurant before we realized you could get cold water from the pool or beach attendants. This is an example of the poor communication throughout. No one told us the restaurant was closed our first night. No one told us how to use the TVs in the villa or that the kids room had electric blackout shades and how to use them. No one told us most of the shops in Regent Village are closed on Sundays. I was told there was only yoga on Tuesdays but then found out after the fact it’s also on Thursdays. It was also very difficult to get chairs at the pool. I brought my 5 year old down at 9:30am to swim and all the chairs by the front pool were “claimed” yet no one was in them. Some of them didn’t come down till lunch. Incredibly rude and the staff should have intervened. ||We booked The Somerset during their Black Friday sale but as the trip was approaching, realized there were 2 beds booking for less per night so I reached out and asked for a complimentary upgrade. They happily obliged yet when we finally got the keys to our villa, it was obvious this is a villa they do not typically book. Yes it was clean but it was very run down with a roach problem. They moved us to a different 2 bed on a higher floor and that’s when I realized we received a faux upgrade. ||I found this property through an influencer whose family is obviously prioritized when they are here. While I still believe it is a nice resort, it was absolutely not for us and I do feel like we were duped by her and her instagram posts. It was obvious while we were here that returning families are prioritized by the staff.

We just returned from a perfect week at The Somerset on Grace Bay. Our family of 24 took over three floors of the Dundee building. Our adventure first began with Stevonya and the rest of the reservation team with lots of questions about accommodations and kitchen items in the units. Each question was thoroughly and patiently answered. |Upon arrival you are greeted with cold towels and a refreshing beverage. While you are enjoying this your luggage is off to your unit. |The units were each perfect in appearance and functionality. Once settled in the pools were just steps away. We had several kids with us ranging from 1 to 5. The easy entry pool was perfect for kids of all heights. |The beach was just a hop, skip, and a jump away which made it easy for the young ones to transition from beach to pool several times a day. |The guys in the pool / beach area could not have been more friendly or accommodating. The same is true of the dining staff that serves you either poolside or on the beach.|This was my second visit to The Somerset and I am already planning our next stay in my mind.

Everything about our stay was exactly as a vacation should be. From before our arrival the staff reached out to assist in arrangements so we arrived with a refrigerator filled with our grocery list, scuba diving booked, and the hardest decisions we had to make on island were: beach or pool and pina colada or rum punch. |We can’t say enough great things about Miss Sharon who hosts the Kids Club which our 7 and 3 year old both said was the best part of the trip. It’s the perfect amount of time to be a break for parents with plenty of time to make core memories as a family. |Everything on property is immaculate and the staff is always all smiles and helpful. You can text the front desk at any point and the response time is impressive. |There’s never a rush or a shortage of prime lounge chairs by the beach or pool so no need to camp out early or feel rushed. |Staying at Somerset is truly an amazing experience!
