On the Grid : Sopa

"Just a stones-throw away from our offices, on the Carrer Roc Boronat, you’ll find Sopa. What we love about this place is how bright and airy it is thanks to its enormous windows and decoration. But the best thing has to be the amazing vegan and vegetarian meals it has on its varied menu that will cater to just about any taste (even non-vegetarians). Oh, and if you like Yoga they do that too!" - Little Buddha

The Burrata con Pesto, ceviche, and sangria were outstanding! Every dish was creative and full of surprising flavor combinations — you can tell the chef really enjoys experimenting. We shared almost the whole menu, and it was such a fun and memorable experience. Definitely worth coming back!

Stepping into this restaurant feels like being welcomed, the décor strikes a balance between comfort and style. The highlight is, of course, the food. Each dish pays homage to traditional flavors while introducing creative fusion elements that feel natural rather than forced. What makes the experience even more enjoyable is the attentive service. Staff take the time to explain how each dish is prepared. Their friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm elevate the evening, making you feel well cared for throughout dinner. A wonderful place to enjoy comfort, tradition, and innovation all in one dining experience

Visiting from Florida our Brazilian Friends living in BCN! This is one of the best overall meals we’ve had. The service is caring. The Ambiance is casual nice. The Tapas are fusion of Catalan with Asian influences. Delicious Sangria. Great Pulpo, the Gyozas are marvelous!! We also enjoyed the Patatas Bravas, Burrata and Torrija to finalize. The owner is Catalonian and the spectacular service is by Argentinian and Paraguayan young ladies. Thanks for a wonderful evening at a great price!! Cheers!!

The food here is unbelievable. The salmon tataki with miso and orange was so unbelievably delicious. Beef and octopus are also very good. Hazelnut espresso martini was tasty! Service was excellent. This place truly deserves a visit.

This is a gem of a place. Every dish we tried was packed with flavour and beautifully prepared. The staff was very attentive and thoughtful. Before serving anything, they asked about allergies and brought in gluten free bread for me. Solid 10/10.

Since eating at La Sopa Boba on a Monday night in mid-March, we've now had papas bravas in 3 Spanish cities at multiple restaurants. These are the best. The crisp potato edges, the tangy sauce, all top notch. The drinks were really good too, I had a limoncello spritz and my husband a special margarita (new flavor). Then we added coconut milk pork gyoza to finish off our tapas experience. If we'd had more days in Barcelona, I would've absolutely come back here and I recommended it to fellow travelers we've met on tours.

Tasty fusion food. Love the egg plant with pineapple and soy sauce. The sea bass cervichy was refreshing and the duck with curry was perfect.

Authentic with some fusion, but all of it, fantastic, it's like family - you can't choose which is better. The sangria and lemonade "TSB" we had was amazing. The atmosphere and decoration was really nice and gave it a homely feel. The owner was very inviting and friendly, witty and helpful, offering a lot of advice and recommendations. The waitresses were attentive to our needs, friendly, polite and smiling - I can't mention them specifically by name because I didn't get their names, but if they're cute, then it must be them. We did have to wait for a while because we didn't have a reservation, but it was worth the wait, just like visiting again would be - it could be a great reason to travel all the way to Barcelona. Loved it 🥰
