The Source, Hotel, Music & Spa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Source Hotel with a group of 33 ladies, and I cannot praise their spa team enough, especially Mariam and Ilham. These two wonderful women managed to organize and deliver a variety of treatments for our entire group over the span of three days. Their expert hands left everyone feeling incredible, relaxed, and rejuvenated. They worked non-stop, yet remained warm and professional throughout. It was no easy task, and I’m truly grateful for the care and effort they put into making the experience so special for all of us. A special shout-out also goes to the owner of the hotel, the super fun and friendly Stéphane (not Stephanie!). She was my greatest support during our stay, helping me handle every request for the group with efficiency and genuine kindness. Whenever we faced unexpected issues, Stéphane always found a quick and effective solution. Without her involvement, our experience at The Source would not have been the same. I highly recommend this piece of paradise. Nestled within lush green gardens, The Source offers a haven of serenity and beauty, an ideal escape after busy days exploring Marrakesh. Our entire group is feeling cared for, and completely enchanted by this magical place.

I think I found my favourite hotel in the world. Perfection, from the lovely team to the incredible food, stunning, comfortable rooms beautifully decorated with a Moroccan style, top class hammam and treatments from Maryam and Ilham and nature everywhere around. A peaceful sanctuary with the best of everything you need. We stayed longer than expected and we will be back soon. The Source is a short taxi ride from Marrakech centre and I fully recommend this as your base whether travelling with family, friends, alone as a female or as a couple. Book it!! ♥️

One of the things I loved most was the beautiful garden area,it's peaceful, very well maintained, and makes the whole place feel calm and refreshing. It really adds to the charm of the hotel. The atmosphere overall is relaxing, the staff are welcoming. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature in Marrakech.

We went to an NYE event here and it was the biggest rip off we experienced in Morocco. From start to finish they tried to bleed us with money. No where to sit down, had to ‘pay more’ to literally be able to sit down and drink a drink. A drink was a small fortune, service was terribly slow and frankly it was the most disappointing event I’ve been to in a long time. Even the bouncer was trying to make money out of us getting home - shocking.

The source was maybe the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life the service horrible the food even worse we came here for the New Year’s party and stayed the weekend. The people there were so tacky it was a horrible experience, the crowd was disgusting and even dangerous, we did not feel safe. The staff here felt like a fever dream even with a man yelling at me saying no when i just asked him a simple question. We literally left and went back to our home country because this hotel was so abysmal

Hands down the worst new years experience in my life… went to funk town and it was terrible. Overpriced drinks slow service bad set up…. Would be better listening to the radio in my shed with a few cans of beer.

We had our wedding at this beautiful hotel at the end of June and I absolutely love this hotel. This was our 5th visit to the hotel and we will be back. It is absolutely beautiful with stunning gardens and a gorgeous pool. The food is lovely and the staff are extremely kind and hard working. The villas are also gorgeous and the spa is fantastic.

So 3 months after having our reservation cancelled by The Source just a week before our stay we are still waiting the refund of our deposit! We have had to charge back through our credit card company to try and have any chance of getting our deposit back! I’m sure this place is lovely if you get your stay but should you be one of the unfortunate bookings that they choose you cancel at the last minute then you’ll be waiting indefinitely for your money back! Looking back through all the reviews this seems like something that happens far too often. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!
