Yelp
Forgettable. Four Seasons Jackson Hole is higher in elevation than nearly all other Four Seasons...but that's where being above the others ends.
As first reserved guests of the evening at Westbank Grill, we were seated at the objectively worst table on the property. Our table was located next to the server station, which is mere feet from the entrance, where waiting guests gather.
Dining with constant traffic and other guests with no option but to watch your table, is...what one expects at Dennys at 11:30pm...not Four Seasons.
Inevitably during busy evenings, someone has to be seated at referenced table, but it shouldn't be the first guests of the evening.
The staff is polite, professional and welcoming, albeit moderately uneducated in regards to the menu.
When inquiring about the wagyu option, our server did not know the grade, style etc. She was gracious and had the chef come to our table, which was very much appreciated.
The chef was very polite and willing to answer all questions and provided great customer service.
Unfortunately, the same chef later ruined the wagyu by cooking it to a temperature that wasn't requested, and should not even be remotely approached with high-grade wagyu.
The staff offered to prepare a new steak, but due to the first failed attempt, and the extensive wait, the option was declined.
The property did remove the steak from the final bill, which was not expected, but appreciated. We would have rather paid for a properly prepared wagyu.
The server was also unfamiliar with the alcoholic beverage offerings, and had to return to our table more than once to clarify that a selected option was no longer available.
The staff are adorned in western style clothing, commensurate with the area. While the clothing style is understandable for the area, staff should not be allowed to wear clothing that appears unkept...via extremely faded and mis-fitting jeans, dirty boots etc.
As a guest of many Four Seasons properties, Jackson Hole ranks at the bottom.
