The Spa at InterContinental London - The O2

tuned up no steam room or jacuzzi working apparently they called up to tell us, we didn’t receive anything. 50% of the facility's wasn’t working not good value for money whatsoever all beds are taken, so we had to share one bed around the pool Not relaxing whatsoever, in fact, it was quite stressful was offered a free drink each at the bar! 👎🏻to compensate or come back but can’t guarantee facility’s will be working really!!? so we took the drink to be honest i can swim & sauna at my own leisure centre also i have a disability badge & key, i ask to use the disabled shower ( have spinal/neck issue) but was told sorry i cannot use the shower u less i have an actual wheelchair!!! i said i had this problem & a key all disability are not so visible! total discrimination, I would never return here and I would never recommend it

We had a relaxing time at the spa. The massage was wonderful. We had afternoon tea, the staff were lovely. Aleena was very friendly and attentive, we couldn't of asked for better service. The food was very good, some a little sweet for us.

I booked a spa deal through spa break - really relaxing experience. Massage was really good. The complimentary coffee and pastries were delicious. The hot chocolate was one of the best ones I’ve had. Will be coming back again for the whole spa experience.

Enjoyed an early morning spa session. Had the place to ourselves. Clean and well maintained facilities. The steam room and the sauna were at a really good temperature. Will come again.

Friendly check in. Pool area was quite busy during my visit. Lower rate as one of the guests was making some noise and splashing all around, and as there is no supervision you are expected to handle things on your own. This was uncomfortable so we just left.

So good, loved the massage and the relaxation room. The swimming pool was nice with a steam, sauna and a jacuzzi aswell and one of those strong shower jets in the jacuzzi. We didn't stay for the coffee and pastries though. Slippers and robe provided. Shower rooms are clean with changing room facilities

On 24/05/2023 family and I visited this Spa. The message room was cold. When in the jacuzzi could not see the clock and floor to the jacuzzi was hazardous. Refreshments were good.

A really modern, clean, relaxing spa. The three of us had Afternoon Tea which was cute then facials and day spa use. Would recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying here for our first 3 nights in London. It's located east of London and only a short underground away from the most touristy places (which is what we preferred for this leg of our trip). This property is just a few steps from the O2, a ginormous Arena with shops, activity centers and restaurants and is within walking distance in a town called Greenwich where you will find pubs, a small market and tons of amazing parks to just relax and chill. This is also where the famous GMT clock is located (in Greenwich Park), just be prepared to make the hike, where you will find some awesome views! In any event I'm here to rate the amazing service we receive here. We didn't have access to a fridge and didn't have phone service in the room, but we didn't mind as other amenities and service in the room sort of canceled all of the negatives. It was humid this time of year in June and we walked a lot. The shower water pressure is so powerful here nothing else matters to me at this point. They offer 2 restaurants. Hubby and I shared a lunch meal at the Meridian restaurant. The service was on point and the food was a delight. We also had dinner at the Market Brasserie in the second floor after a few days of drooling on their grilled squid and it certainly didn't disappoint! Later, we spent time at their upscale bar the Clipper, sipped some custom cocktail and wine while enjoying the beautiful views this property has to offer. Hubby and I logged some serious steps this trip but didn't miss a day of circuit training (weights + Machines) first thing in the AM in their fully equipped and spacious gym. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the spa service. Finally, I want to give praise to the amazing staff here - from concierge, front desk, restaurant staff and Attila, the Night Manager who was more than accommodating, especially at the end of our trip when I thought I lost my iPhone (was a major heart attack moment for me!) and made sure we had an epic stay for our first trip to London.

Nice hotel next to the O2 arena and walking distance to the mall where there are lots of restaurants and bars. Good variety to choose from.

Very disappointed! When I first booked this hotel two months ago, I tried emailing them a handful of questions, but they never returned my email. I finally bought a calling card to call internationally, and when I contacted someone from guest services at the front desk, they told me misinformation. I asked about several attractions, mainly in the west and central part of London. This hotel is located in North Greenwich, in North East London. For those who haven't frequented London in the last Forty-five years, London is overpopulated and filled with car traffic. The underground trains are overcrowded and limited due to limited funding and budget cuts! So trains are packed like think sardines in cans. Black cabs are expensive, and Uber is costly. It can take up to two hours to get to and from Heathrow Airport by vehicle from this hotel. By train, it can take ninety minutes or more plus several transfers, and you can't have much baggage. From this hotel, if you are going to the west side of London, where all the attractions are, there are many transfers if you take the train, and you will be squished like a sardine in a can. They claim it takes twenty minutes but can take up to forty minutes. If you take a cab, uber or rent a vehicle, you will be in a car for forty minutes, at least two hours, depending on the traffic. This hotel is excellent if a show is at the O2, next door. But if you are visiting London for the attractions, other hotels are on the west side. That will save you time and money on travel. I wish the hotel would have been more honest.

There is a body odor smell in the rooms. We have asked to be moved to another suite. The new room has the same offensive odor as the first! I cannot believe I have to stay five days here. There are stains on the carpet, poor provision of storage space for any clothing more than a two day stay. We are living out of our suitcases, strewn about the suite wherever there is a space. This is NOT a five star hotel. I have stayed in the Peninsula, Tokyo, The St.Regis, NYNY, The Control, Versailles. I am well acquainted with luxury hotel stays. This is miserable. Update after a six day stay: I must add that the first floor, the location of the brasserie, also has an awful smell that punches you between the eyes as you exit the lift. Everyone (21 adults) agreed the odor must be sewage! It wasn't very appetizing to smell what has to be sewage odor from the toilets as you enter the breakfast area. The property needs odor removal service immediately.

Don't let the location stop you since it appears to be very far east of central London, you pay a bit less (because of distance) and get so much more! The underground station is only a 5 minute walk, especially if you cut through from the parking garage rather than walking from the main entrance. It is situated by and has direct access into the O2. You don't necessarily have to be going to a show at the O2 to stay here as the O2 has a bunch of stores and eateries and it looks like they are building even more. The rooms are bigger than your typical European size hotel rooms and staying here gives you access to a beautiful pool and amazing breakfast if you opted for it. Unless you are dead set on eating out for breakfast, I highly suggest adding the breakfast option in your booking. I booked through Agoda and it cost about 10 pounds per person per day for breakfast, it was completely worth it.

This review is for the spa. I got a massage here a couple weeks ago and had a horrible experience. The staff was very rude and they got my appointment time wrong even after I showed them the email confirmation from when they booked it and they still made me take a later slot. My massage therapist was also very clearly sick and did not wear a mask. She was coughing and congested the whole time and was breathing in my face for half the massage. I got severely ill for 2 weeks shortly after this. Would never return here.

Amazing Hotel. At first, I thought I made a mistake booking at this hotel. Because I thought it was far from all the attractions. But then I found out that the underground and bus station is just minutes away walking. And you can go basically everywhere around London in a matter of minutes. The hotel is really nice. Staff was very friendly. The room had everything I need. The bed was very comfortable. The service was professional and quick. The breakfast was a buffet style and was very good. There's a nice fitness room as well as a pool and spa services. So basically a great experience all over. I definitely recommend and I will return the next time I'm in London.

Don't believe their reviews or social media comments. Just found out they screen the comments on their instagram page and that is why all you'll see are nice comments. I commented about them snubbing inquiries from certain people and still posting everyday, and guess what? My comment can't be seen (I am the only commenter on the post, so it's not like it got lost in a sea of comments). My sister tried to leave a comment too and I couldn't see it. But all their other posts have like one or two comments praising them. That is manipulated review!!

Incredible place, fantastic location. Been here only hours and I love so much about it I can barely keep up with everything I like. Just had the complimentary breakfast and I suffered the worst case of Option Anxiety ever. SO MANY CHOICES...what a great way to start the day. This hotel is simply GORGEOUS. So spacious and beautifully designed and decorated. Quite modern too. Almost too modern on some aspects, since it's gonna be a while before many of its qualities become normalized by regular hotels. Using the control panel which operates the room was a bit of a learning curve (especially challenging at 2:00am when I arrived) but by morning I was all over it. The views are quite nice in my opinion and the amenities are many. This hotel is beautiful and convenient as well. The Greenwich tube station is an easy 10 minute walk and the Jubilee line gets you right into the heart of things. I LOVED my experience at The Intercontinental.

In some ways, The Intercontinental at the O2 should come on prescription. It's got it all: healing powers, grumpy receptionists and pharmaceutically-priced options. Overall, I keep coming back. So elegant, beautiful views, really friendly and professional hospitality. They have a great bar called the Clipper bar to go for breakfast and get some good appetizers and some proper English tea. A must see place to stay and experience.

Very nice location in a very peaceful place which was exactly what we needed. Very accomodating staff and they went out of their way to meet our needs. Very well presented and equipped room. Could not recommend this place more and will be singing their praises for a long time. Thanks for giving us the perfect stay.

Great place to stay while visiting London. It's adjacent to O2 Arena and short walking distance to underground tube and bus station that takes you everywhere.The hotel is elegant, sophisticated, beautifully decorated and very spacious. The rooms are relaxing with luxurious beddings and amenities. Great view of the river. The Market Brasserie offers great breakfast- the staff are amazing and we'd like to recognize Hristo, Adel, Valentina, Halil and Emily (Trainee)among many and they worked as cohesive team. Excellent variety to satisfy any cravings. The hotel has great pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. The gym is well equipped. The staff are all efficient and friendly. I agree with the group next to us at breakfast- We're coming back to this hotel"

It is not the friendliest place to get too. It is still quite a bit of wall when as you exit North Greenwich station on the Jubilee line. There are various choices to choose from dining - with 3 restaurants to choose from - and 2 bars. Make sure you visit the sky bar, on the 18th floor. I like the view and space. Really makes one feel very comfortable. There is a small section where it could be closed off for private parties. I had a tour round the hotel and I had been lucky enough to stay, I'll indulge in the pool, spa and the luxurious rooms. There is construction work going on building a sheltered space through to the o2 but with all those facilities in the hotel, I'm could spend a whole day inside. And if you can afford to stay there then I guess your mode of transport would not be on TFL.

We stayed here about a year ago and it was fabulous. Super clean, spacious room with a great bathroom including a bathtub and shower. Impeccably clean. Comfortable bed. The pool and spa were great. Top-floor pub was pretty cool including some open air space. We stayed here while there weren't any events at the O2; it was our last night in London so we just came here for the hotel experience. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. Tube station really close, we just walked on over. We ended up taking the Emirates cable car over to the Greenwich Peninsula and had dinner at a fantastic tapas place. I wouldn't stay in this hotel if my goal was to explore London but I can't imagine that's what most people stay here for. This is what every Intercontinental should aspire to be.

Excellent location out of the center and really close to city airport and excel area. Service is good, room also but with moquet... Nice for business and it's helpful the O2 arena really after the corner

My wife stayed here for a work conference. It is a high end hotel with all the trappings you could ask for. It is onsite to the O2 arena. Lots of conferences and business people. It is not convenient to central London, however, the water taxi is right outside which provides wonderful transportation with a view.

As soon as we entered the hotel we were welcomed by the Hotel Doorman and one of the Hotel Porters "Mohammed" who took our bags which he later delivered to our room, very nice man who was very engaging and spoke to us about our stay. Check in was very fast, and they had actually upgraded our room which was a lovely surprise, we stayed on the 8th floor with great views of the O2 Arena. The reception staff were all very welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge re the hotel. The room was the pinnacle of luxury, very spacious, minimalistic and every amenity was provided in the room: Complimentary water, tea/coffee making facilities, fulling stocked fridge, hair dryer, full size ironing board & iron, toiletries the list is endless. The room featured large floor to ceiling windows and an absolutely great view of the O2 Arena to the left, and the river to the right. The bathroom was probably my favourite room, and I made sure I took full advantage of the spacious bath and shower during my stay. Our room had a large flat screen television which included all Free View channels and the option to rent films. The beds were extremely comfortable and all heating/air con facilities in the room were easy to use. After a brilliant night's sleep in the superior quality beds, and after indulging a little too much in the cake left in our room we were back in the Market Brasserie for breakfast. This was buffet style and was without a shadow of doubt the best buffet breakfast I have ever had. The food was so tasty, fresh and hot! The options were endless, cooked breakfast, continental, juices, coffee, tea, yogurts, fruit, it really did have something for everyone. I cannot fault the hotel at all, I will 100% be returning if/when I have another concert at the O2 Arena.

My daughter took me here today for my birthday. I had a lovely spa day, it was just perfect. This place is really nice & I got pampered & the staff were very friendly. The only thing that got on my nerves were the kids messing about & splashing in the pool. I wanted to have a swim & do a few laps but it was abit difficult with those kids in there. There should be a quite time swim with NO kids at certain times but apart from that I had a great day & shall definitely return & hope to see a quite time swim time table for swimming.

A beautiful hotel within easy walking distance of London O2 (50 meters). A newly built property with top level service and very nice rooms. High end furnishings, nice work space in the room, huge flatscreen tv. Multiple restaurants and bars and superior conference space. I like everything about it except the location. It's perfect if you are attending a show at O2 but if you are here to see London there isn't much to do near the hotel. It's a 4 Star oasis in the city of London.

If you're unconcerned with location during your stay in London and are primarily focused on room quality, service, and finishing touches, then the O2 is a much better bet than the Intercontinental Park Lane. This hotel is barely two years old and has the state-of-the-art everything. It's evident from the moment you walk into the reception area to the tech found in each individual room. The tube is a short walk away and very accessible in my opinion. Cab/uber rides will be super pricey though so just keep that in mind. Also-- people raved about the breakfast, but I thought it was above average at best. Oh well. I'd still highly tout this hotel for any travelers keen on exploring London's less-explored areas.

Nice hotel, a short 8 minutes from the tube. It doesn't take long to get anywhere. The hotel is new, great conference center, wonderful staff. I'm taking off a star for the terrible beer selection (coors, corona, and Asahi).

I stayed there in December 2016 for two nights. Very nice hotel, modern and clean facilities, great restaurant, very helpful and professional people at the reception and everywhere else. Proximity to O2 makes it easy to pick a place to eat in the evening. Two negative things (besides the price of course :-)) : 1. They don't have steam irons in their rooms - I had to ask for one. 2. Too far away from Heathrow airport Otherwise it is an excellent business hotel.

This is quite an impressive looking hotel, with well trained, professional staff. The rooms are well presented and equipped. The breakfasts are the typical hotel buffet, so horrid bacon, but a good selection is offered. However, the room we had was seriously flawed, the air conditioning didn't work properly so the room was hot and humid, my wife and I we unable to sleep properly the 1st night, and of course there were no windows to open. Also the electricity kept tripping out. We reported the fault 5-6 times before the management moved us to a new room. These things happen, but they were too slow to respond appropriately, and this seriously impacted our weekend away. Probably wouldn't choose to stay there again as a result.

Love the hotel, excellent service, great facilities and restaurants. Great place to stay with kids, going to stay here every time we come to London

Checked in here for a conference at about 21:30 GMT Sept. 11, 2016. No complaints, easy, efficient checkin experience. Room was on 5th floor, lovely, spacious, no problem. Went down to the Clipper restaurant for dinner. Was told they were not serving any more, and to go to the bar next door, where they still serve food. Went there, bar tender told me to sit down and he would be over. 15 Minutes later, no service, and by the way, he was looking right at me from the bar - so i left. This is not a problem with just the Intercontinental hotel at the O2, London, UK, by Greenwich. This is a worldwide problem. Employ the minimum number of un-trained staff, let a percentage of customers leave disgruntled, their lost business is still less than what the institution would have to have paid to employ slightly more, trained staff. Capitalism at its worst, but hey, big bonuses for the bosses !

Lovely hotel. Staff very helpful & friendly. Especially David, the Doorman & Vijay, Lobby staff. Both were very helpful, especially to my very elderly mother.Was great to be able to access the O2 through a direct link corridor from the hotel. We stayed over after seeing Andrea Botcelli in concert. Will definitely be back.
