While vacationing in Palm Springs, we decided to treat ourselves to a spa day and, after some research, landed on SÉC-HE Spa—and what an incredible find. Located in downtown Palm Springs, it truly feels like a serene oasis tucked away from the bustle of the city.
We booked our visit somewhat late, so spa service options were limited, but my husband and I opted for the Taking of the Waters day pass. This included a 15-minute hot mineral bath and access to the spa facilities for the rest of the day, which was more than enough to fully enjoy everything SÉC-HE Spa has to offer.
The facility is beautifully designed and very well organized, with separate men’s and women’s areas as well as co-ed spaces. There are multiple relaxation rooms, impeccably maintained dressing rooms, cold plunge pools, cold and regular showers, jacuzzis, mineral baths, and a luxurious salt cave. Every space feels intentional, calming, and thoughtfully maintained.
The shower facilities deserve special mention—they were absolutely amazing. The water pressure was excellent, and the overall décor of the shower areas felt both modern and spa-luxurious. The showers were fully stocked with wonderful citrus-scented body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, along with Moroccan oil products. Hair dryers were also provided, making it easy to freshen up and continue enjoying the day without feeling rushed.
We had an early appointment and missed breakfast, so one of our first stops after the mineral soak was food—and this is where SÉC-HE Spa really impressed us. You might expect spa food to be overpriced and underwhelming, but that was not the case at all. We ordered the date skewers and the turkey avocado flatbread, and both were phenomenal. The quality matched the price point, and the service was perfectly attentive.
We also reserved a daybed by the pool for $50, which included a complimentary fruit tray. While the weather wasn’t especially warm, it was still such a treat—especially for two visitors from Kentucky in the middle of winter. Sitting outside, listening to the waterfall, reading, and relaxing made the experience feel extra special, even if we had the pool area mostly to ourselves.
From start to finish, SÉC-HE Spa delivered a truly memorable and restorative experience. If you’re visiting Palm Springs and looking for a spa day that feels indulgent, peaceful, and beautifully executed, this is a wonderful choice
