Spa-Angela gave me an amazing facial- best I have ever had! Hotel-We had a great room in the historic area overlooking the back lawn. Room was great but most of the wall plugs were so loose the electrical items would not stay in. Vue food was amazing as well as service, Edison not so much. Staff did not seem to want to be there at all-welcome/Host stand was rude. Elevator staff were so nice and talkative and helpful! We are there once a year so will be back next year!

My wife and I spent a day in the spa for our wedding anniversary trip and it did not disappoint! The facial service we both received was one of the best for both of us. It was truly relaxing and as we came to appreciate about all of Omni’s staff, the spa staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a perfect day to disconnect with no device / technology distractions — something we always aim to do more often. My only gripe with the experience: We noticed folks would “hold” or “claim” sets of chairs / lounge chairs. They’d place towels and books on the chairs and go off and do their thing. Some of the chairs seemed unoccupied most of the day but essentially unavailable because they held them. Some just had towels and again, you’d see no one sitting in them for hours at a time. Not sure if it was just towels being left behind but in any event, it made it nearly impossible for my wife and I to find a cozy space to lounge together outside of water or the other spa amenities. This would never keep us from returning but in the future, it would be nice if Omni made a policy about reserving seating so it’s more openly available for folks ready to enjoy it. But worst case, my recommendation would be to get there early and hold some seats if they don’t implement any sort of policy! All in all, an incredible experience! Highly recommend!

Google
Absolutely beautiful with the snow. I highly recommend. Take the time and walk through the entire resort. It's levels that most tourists do not know about. At night, the locals, not guest, pour into the resort. I don't think that's right but it gets extremely crowded at the bars and restaurants. I'm guessing it's a way that the establishment keeps the money coming in. I wanted to eat at 1 place and it was a 2 hour wait. Screw that since a server told me that they were about 45% capacity on guest to rooms. I feel like guest with rooms should have 1st priority.

Google
We are locals so we can and do make this a regular staycation. The spa is one of the best I've ever been to. The pools are super relaxing. Especially the hot pool outside with gorgeous mountain views. We've had mixed spa treatments, mostly massage but that's nothing new. Overall well worth the stay at the hotel.

Google
Provided Lockers are small. They do not enforce their no electronic policy. Sauna and steam rooms are small expect to wait for a spot or be really close to other guests. Good decor and ambiance aside from all the poeple openly using electronics which they say are not allowed. Great views if you can find a free chair to enjoy them. Expected a lot more for the price.

My brother is building a new house in Cary after severe damage to his home in lake lure and we thought this would be a nice place to visit to get away while I was in town. The pictures online look amazing, and while not priced on the high end, it’s clear that’s what they’re trying to present as. We walked in and were assaulted by a foul smell, which we brushed off (there is still a lot of recovery happening in the region). We got to our rooms and the scent was still prevalent - not ideal but whatever, good food and gingerbread houses were on the agenda! Sadly good food was not an option, everything we ordered felt like airplane food (not fresh and reheated) and while the gingerbread houses were cute, the smell is so off putting. We tried to be understanding, as I mentioned it’s an area still recovering from a natural disaster in some capacity, but you’d think they could afford better air filtration with what they charge. Not worth it.

Google
There's a reason it's a top 10 spa in the US!! Absolutely the best, in my opinion!! Where else can you lounge all day after your treatment in total luxury...

Kristen M.

Google
The spa is absolutely stunning. Well worth the price to spend the day there before and after a treatment. My 80 minute hot stone massage by Brendon was the best massage I’ve ever had- highly recommend!

Yelp
An incredible place to visit, even for a local! I bring all my friends and family here to celebrate. You can get a drink and walk around or sit and enjoy the beautiful view next to the fireplace or outside. Unbeatable views of downtown Asheville and beyond. Drinks are always delicious. Service is phenomenal. Staff is friendly and inviting! Ive had the chance to visit the spa, and its .. wow! Unlike any other place or spa I've been to. It's one of those places it's impossible to describe. Service in the spa is top notch, welcome and invites you to take care of yourself.

Yelp
Beautiful!!! Came for a glass of wine with my beast friend and her hubby and it was the best time and view!!! Found some nick backs in the gift shop and enjoyed the giant fireplace and Christmas decor. Hoping to come back in April and stay for my anniversary!!!
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
The Omni is by far one of my favorite hotels ever. The grand entrance, the history, the fireplaces!! Who doesn't wanna sit in a rocking chair near a big stone fireplace on a cold day talking the day away!! The restaurants onsite are all wonderful. You have to eat at the buffet at least once!! Spa, golf, shopping!!! Christmas is my absolute favorite time to go!! The smell of gingerbread lingers!! Grab a cocktail or hot chocolate and watch the sunset over Asheville! Best view in the city.

Yelp
This is a historical landmark that I would consider as an important stop whenever you visit Asheville. The view, the outside areas and the history are all great. This place is definitely worth visiting. They have parking lots on the property. Overall, this place is great.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
What a great stay! We came for the Christmas experience and were completely amazed at the level of service! We wanted to come to Ashville to help the tourist industry. The Omni exceeded all expectations. From the early checkin into one of the original rooms to cocktails on the terrace with the view of Ashville, to the ride on the original elevator, to breakfast at the buffet we were amazed at the service provided. This 1903 hotel was recently updated while leaving the original charm of the Arts & Craft style hotel. The front desk, bellmen, valet, bartenders, servers, elevator operators, guest services all provided exceptional service. If you are wondering if the $400+ room rate is worth it, wonder no more! We look forward to our return visit so that we can visit the spa $200/day.

Yelp
My husband and I spent three nights at this fabulous hotel celebrating our anniversary. We plan to go back next year! The spa was incredible, as was the service and food. It's a gorgeous setting overlooking the mountains and downtown Asheville. I highly recommend for a special occasion!
google avatar

Yelp
A forewarning- we didn't stay there, we went for drinks and the view. The view is BEAUTIFUL! The drinks are expensive... But I feel like you're paying for the view/experience. View outside and inside is great and lots of chairs you can sit in. Good for a special occasion or out of town guests

Yelp
I've not stayed overnight at the Omni Grove Park Inn, I've just gone for the day at various times, depending on what is going on. The hotel is large and has numerous restaurants, a spa, shopping and museums. Then the views are just amazing. When the weather was warmer, I did spend time outside. This time I spent some time sitting in front of the fireplaces and enjoyed the warmth and the atmosphere. On my most recent visit, I was lucky enough to find parking so that I could go see the gingerbread houses that were in various parts of the hotel. What a treat it was to see all the creativity and talent of those who made the pieces of art with gingerbread and other materials. I liked that they had maps so nobody would miss out on finding the gingerbread houses as they were in the two wings and on another level. I hope to make it back another year to see the gingerbread creations again. After browsing the gingerbread creations, I had a lovely lunch in one of the restaurants. I will be back again to the hotel for the day depending on what events are happening and will likely stay a night or two at some point. Although I tend to stay at Marriott properties.

Yelp
It was amazing to see the history of the establishment and the grand nature of the structure. It takes forever to walk everywhere but worth it. The view from the back deck is INSANE!!! I will say they are very proud of their services cause prices just as insane as the deck. Two drinks at the bar was $64 before tip. Rooms were pretty pricey as well. Don't get me started on items in the shops. #stupidexpensive. I recommend coming to see the place, get the seafood buffet (that was reasonably priced at $60 per person) and enjoy the history.

Yelp
This a fabulous mountainside retreat....the Spa is spectacular & the restaurants in the area are all top notch! If you are in Asheville make sure to go visit the local restaurants. The retreat staff is very accommodating with some of the most amazing views and clear air of-the Blue Ridge Mountains will definitely bring you back! The rooms are clean and the amenities are truly direct rate. A very relaxing and stress free environment.

Yelp
Went to the Grove Park Inn for cocktails, spiked hot chocolate & to watch the sunset. Property was beautifully decorated for the holidays with 2 roaring fireplaces. Highly recommend visiting. The lobby lounge has plenty of comfortable seating. Terrace has amazing views and plenty of seats or visit the sports bar and ask for Josh, a great bartender who was very attentive and fun to chat with. He makes a perfect martini!

Yelp
Beautiful. Just Beautiful. This resort is a 110 years old, once you know this I cannot imagine how someone could not appreciate the extraordinary craftsmanship of rock walls. I was in awe. 400 laborers and 20 stone masons from Italy worked 10 hours days to build this hotel. Comparing it to anything built today just isn't right. It's amazingly beautiful. The views are awesome and all of the choices of restaurants are wonderful. I just loved it. Tip- The valet guys, and shuttle drivers are SUPER nice, come with cash for tips. Check in went smoothly but they should really give you a map! This place is a huge maze.

Santrice H.

Yelp
I ventured here for a work conference. The staff was amazing. They served us a variety of great food and snacks. This hotels has shops and restaurants.
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
We did not stay here, but it's absolutely worth going anyway and wandering around the beautiful building! We found lots of interesting historical information and artifacts, as well as award-winning gingerbread houses from their competition and beautiful views! Worth a stop if you are in the area!

Yelp
We stayed here for three nights near the end of June. My wife was facilitating a work function over three days. I arrived separately and kept myself occupied separately to allow her to manage the event. They offer both valet and self parking. Included with my wife's room was valet parking which she used. I parked in the Vanderbilt garage which is $25 per day. My wife was booked into a room in the original main building. It was an older room and while it was clean and comfortable, it was awfully small. I was able to park, walk to the front desk and obtain access to our room because my name was also on the reservation. I hung out in the room or explored on my own until my wife had an opportunity to meet up. This place is huge, you can easily walk around both indoors and outdoors and enjoy the beautiful views. The fireplaces in the main lodge are cool as well. They have two original elevators in the main lodge which require an elevator operator to take you to your floor. The history of the location, the construction and the visitors that have stayed here is an amazing story. Many presidents have stayed here. Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford. The vagabonds stopped here on their way to the Great Smokey Mountains. Throughout the hotel there are pictures and stories on the walls talking about the history, construction and visitors. This is also the location for the National Gingerbread House Competition. They have on display the winner and runners up throughout the year. This was a great opportunity for us because we would never choose to spend roughly $500/night on a hotel room. Local craft beer in the snack bar is $28 per six pack. This would be a nice place to come for dinner or drinks but be prepared to pay up, everything here is expensive and in our opinion, way overpriced. Although this was a great opportunity to experience something we would not normally experience, we will likely not return. We look for much more value for the money we spend.

Yelp
History & beauty aren't enough to score 4 or 5 stars. This is first & foremost a hotel. This review takes into account that the hotel is beautiful, but you're here to decide whether to spend your money here. Honestly, I won't come back. The excessive expense of it all just isn't worth it, to me. Breakfast: $32 per person not including tip. Food options are great. Resort fee: $70. What on earth did I get for this fee? You're paying for the history & beauty... a resort fee is usually charged because there is a variety of entertaining things to do (water slides, activities, etc...). I do not feel like I got anything for this fee. Pools: not part of your hotel stay. You must reserve (well in advance) a "Day Pass" to access the pools, jacuzzi, sauna, etc.... There are a very limited # of passes...if they run out of passes, you can still access the pools after paying for a spa service (massage, etc). As of 3/29/2024, Day Pass costs $244 per person. Open from 10am to 7pm. Food: Very good but very expensive. Dinner in the "upscale sports bar" for four with one appetizer & alcoholic drink each cost $240. Staff: best staff was found for Breakfast - attentive & friendly. Worst staff is found in Spa. From Stuart, who made me all but interrogate him so I could understand how to get a Day Pass, to the mature dark-haired intense woman at the check-in counter who argued with me saying she called me (but would not confirm what number she called), to the absent minded waitstaff around the outdoor pool who openly said, "Sorry we keep forgetting to bring your drink, we got busy with this party's drinks (the party of 6 who showed up after I had already ordered). Thank you for telling me they're more important. Exception: woman in the Spa shop was absolutely lovely. She should be at the front desk. Note: you must have reservations for dinner - get on the list early The room: lovely Mountain View. Our friends' room had not been cleaned from the previous tenant - bed a mess, towels on floor, trash, etc.... 6pm check in = room should be ready. Due to a "network outage" several rooms' door card keys did not work (& they could not make new ones) - we were one of the unlucky few. Paying $1200 for two nights, & couldn't open our own door - had to call security & wait each time. Dueling pianos was an absolute blast! There are a ton of restaurant option with 2 miles - grab an Uber & enjoy (many require reservations call at least a week in advance). We ate at Sonora - absolutely delicious!

Suzanne W.

Yelp
My last stay here wasn't great . I don't know just seems it's not as elegant as it once was. Our room was a bit on the shabby side as was my sister's room (she had a suite and furniture was in sad shape). They switched rooms on me on check in and I ended up with a downgraded (smaller) room but compensated by giving us breakfast both days.

Yelp
We grabbed a drink at the Omni while staying a night in Asheville. It is a beautiful hotel and this review is solely based on the bar and lobby. I recommend going during the day because it has a very scenic overlook. They have plenty of heaters and fire pits outside to keep you warm. The service is great and the old fashioned I got was fantastic. Everything looked new from the furniture and decor. A great place to grab a drink they had the piano going inside and you get a great view outside.

Yelp
This review is just based on visiting the Grove Park Inn, we did not stay or eat there. It is a gorgeous property from the views on the terrace to the huge fireplaces in the hotel lobby. Parking in their lot is free for the first hour. There are a few nice shops located just off the hotel lobby. If I get the chance to visit Grove Park Inn again I will make sure it is for happy hour on the terrace to see the sunset.

Yelp
We had no real expectations - but enjoyed the visit for a weekend getaway. They definitely do a great job running this place and keeping folks moving along through check in, etc. the various restaurants are tremendous, but you need to make reservations or you're going to end up out of luck. The one hiccup was the silly parking deck. You pay $25 per day to self-park, but the key card didn't work as they suggested, so we ultimately paid with our credit card. They offered a credit, which we've not received (4 days later) so we will remain hopeful that we didn't actually pay $50 per day to park. The grounds and interior of this place are well maintained even in keeping the historical charm. We will return now that we know how to plan and what to expect. (OH! and Doordash/uber do deliver if you wanted something fast and local and didn't want to imbibe or indulge in one of the pricey onsite locations.... the market place isn't terribly overpriced, but your options are limited.

Yelp
REVIEW OF HOTEL BAR + PATIO We came in to enjoy cocktails and sunset on the back patio. The bartenders did a great job of getting drinks moving quickly, even though there was a mighty long line. Then we took a walk of the grounds, which are beautiful. And then we enjoyed drinks as the sunset on the back terrace and patio. Great late afternoon stop.

Yelp
Cocktails on veranda! Wonderful place to sit and look at this view! A great place to sit and relax.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely stunning & so mush history. You can wander around looking at it for hours. Rooms are dated but very clean. Not a fan of the barn door bathroom door. The views are stunning. The property has a fun dueling piano bar, great dining options in different price ranges, and a beautiful spa. Definitely worth a visit at least once.

Yelp
This hotel might have a lot going for it but this particular review is for the caring and fantastic staff at Omni GPI. We visited this hotel as a part of our company retreat and found ourselves smack dab in the middle of the Hurricane Helene. Given the situation, we did not get a chance to appreciate the place and it's surroundings as much as we could have normally. With things in dire despair, we were panicking but not a single staff member showed any ruffled feathers. Our every question, however simple, was answered with utmost thought and care. I cannot imagine how they were faring for themselves but they did not let us see that. Just for that, I give this place a very high 5 stars. To every single member of the staff, thank you!!!

Yelp
Been here before several years ago and we were back in the area and stopped in to have a drink . The view is beautiful and a great place to watch the sun set. Would love to spend a night or two there but very expensive . It has everything you can think of . Different restaurants , golf course , pool , shops , a beautiful spa that I would love to see but have to be a guest. If has 43000 sq feet of relaxation with waterfalls pools , fiber optic stars and underwater music . And so much more . It has sports complex where they have pickle ball , tennis , and ect. It's a beautiful place , expensive but nice to stop by and have a drink or dinner . I got a sangria and it was expensive

Yelp
The Omni: Grove Park Inn History, elegance, enchantment, and luxury. 'Tis a grand day. Today, we set our sights on The Omni: Grove Park Inn located to the north of Asheville. 'Tis a fine History, elegance, enchantment, and luxury that we encounter at The Omni: Grove Park Inn. Yes, we are delighted by the doorman in black top had and red Jacket. We are enchanted as we take leave of a sea level resort and drive to an elevation of ~2,500 feet; and 'tis snowing. Omni sits encased in granite and snow. The setting is pure luxury. Ours was a very modern 350-square foot room with a delightful view of Asheville and the mountains. In short, everything is perfect. The beds are very comfortable and ensure a great night's sleep. Great management begets fantastic service, and there are various clientele this evening. One has to be impressed by the several fireplaces and especially the two floor to ceiling fireplaces with abundant wooden rocking chairs. We like that The Omni: Grove Park Inn is displaying many presidents and celebrities throughout the property We like that there are several restaurant choices, and we have a clear sense that each The Omni: Grove Park Inn employee has been thoroughly trained by the management to provide the very definition of Southern Hospitality. The Omni: Grove Park Inn "fit us" like a glove. We cannot think of a single item that would have enhance our visit, and we shall return. We highly recommend this property to the touring public.

Yelp
Everything about this beautiful resort makes me happy. I love the history, and the tribute to human effort and ingenuity it was when it was built. It feels almost sacred, walking the grounds. I hope to be here someday when it is very cold, and they have a giant fire roaring in the fireplace. I thank my lucky stars that we got to come here in the first place. There are plenty of less expensive places to stay in Asheville but none that give you this kind of experience. The service, the food, the accommodations, and the scenery are all without equal.

Yelp
The Blue Ridge Room was excellent as the buffet. Then the July 3rd Fireworks were spectacular. If only there had been some music! America the Beautiful; God Bless America and the like.

Yelp
The hotel is iconic and the grounds are beautiful. The spa is also incredible, if you can get in. I've been before but couldn't get an appointment this time. You can try to get a day pass to use the facilities. Check in was super easy and the person helping us was friendly and helpful. Our room was in the historic building. The rooms are definitely not luxurious. At all. I know they have tried to keep them looking like the time period when the place was originally built but for the price paid I would expect a bit more luxury. We were there with a large group and our dinners included one buffet dinner and one sit down dinner. Of the two, the food at the buffet was much better. But neither was anything to get excited about. I rated it with four stars because of the experience and definitely not for the food or the room.

Leslie C.

Yelp
Pro - been here a lot, and the views from the porch are beautiful and relaxing - lobby in the evening with drinks and the fire - comfortable beds Cons - dated dated dated menus and food. Do not eat at the GPI. Walk 900 feet to ELDR in the neighborhood next door, or drive/ Uber to the great food in Asheville (Jargon, Cultura, Ukiah, Red Ginger, etc) - they will run out of spa day passes. Get them when you reserve a room. - I'm sorry but the pool for the rest of the masses is extremely dated and sad. Fine for kids but in no way shape or form cool for adults wanting to relax and unable to get into spa - spa rates have gone up - I've heard they're not worth it now The reasons for staying at the GPI are sentimental at this point. It's that open air view. You can stay somewhere else more sophisticated with fresher amenities and much better food

Yelp
I just love this place. This history, architecture... it's all so beautiful. We've had meals here multiple times and I'm sure we will be back. Sunset terrace- get those reservations months in advance cause during the summer it is BOOKED. Especially October. Great food, delicious drinks. A great date night meal. Our boys did well for dinner there but I wouldn't take them back because they cannot appreciate the quality of food for the price. I would take them to... The Blue Ridge Buffets! Our new holiday tradition. Breakfast buffet first (during the week for less crowds, make those reservations months in advance!) then go walk the Gingerbread display. The boys loved all the pancakes, omelets, grits and bagels... I know this will be a great memory every year for them. We've also had the dinner buffet, husband and I, and so much good food we were completely stuffed afterwards. Bountiful seafood and quality meats. The oyster shucking lady said once she shucked 30 oysters for one person. Oh my word. We will always go back to the Omni Grove because it's just so beautiful.

Yelp
parking is a pain & you'll be paying $25 regardless. (valet is $35) food & drinks are very expensive but alright in taste. the customer service is great within the bar/restaurant area. everything is clean but not very up to date, which i understand, for the ambiance. i was mostly there for the view, which was definitely worth it.

Yelp
So much to say, lovely property, lovely people, beautiful hotel, great stay. From the room being great, honestly the best front desk check in ever! Great service everywhere we went, including Sunday Brunch the day before we checked in at the Blue Ridge with great views of the mountains. The umbrellas on the outdoor patio made for a nice afternoon of apps and drinks. The sunset from the open air Edison Dining room along with a super friendly server made for a great night. I spent a LUXURY day in the Spa and had a spectacular day! Beds are comfortable, rooms are nicely furnished, lobby is a fun evening hang out with live music, bar services and fun people watching. Absolutely nothing not to like about it. Highly recommend and all the people we've told to eat or stay there are equally pleased. It's a honeymoon, engagement, wedding, meeting, everything spot in Asheville for a reason.

Yelp
I booked a two night stay here for my mom's 65th birthday as a surprise. She came to this hotel about a decade ago and still talks about it to this day on how absolutely beautiful it is, and I don't think anything has changed. It's what you would expect from a five-star hotel , the large fireplace in the lobby is so magnificent, just being able to sit and enjoy a cocktail or a coffee and look out over the mountains is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed dining at the variety of restaurants on site and only left to go do some hiking on our last day we were able to make two spa reservations for a pedicure and a massage which included passes to the day spa, this is a very special place and even though it is quite pricey to get in or for a service, it is worth it if you can stay for quite a few hours. The rooms were very spacious and we loved staying on the original side. I highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion, or even to just escape for a while

Yelp
Sunset Terrace food and service was terrible. Food quality extremely poor, example: creamed spinach was served as spinach with cheddar cheese baked on top, mashed potatoes seemed like instant potatoe, chicken pollard-tasteless. Other meals (2 more)served were similarly terrible. Then dessert-they tasted as if they were made days prior(not fresh and not as described on menu. Coffee was served, not fresh. The dining area was extremely dark, maybe by design so patrons couldn't see the crap that was being served. For the money, go somewhere else, even the view couldn't make up for dining experience. One more thing, wait staff was argumentative when quality was gently brought to their attention.

Yelp
A wonderful place! Beautiful architecture. Huge and castle like. A wonderful restaurant with a glorious view across a lush valley. A must see if you're in Asheville NC

Yelp
This was a last minute getaway idea and it was amazing. The inn is filled with so much history and the views are spectacular. We were fortunate enough for it to snow while we were here to add to the atmosphere. We will be back.

Yelp
One of the best hotels in the Southeast! The team at the Grove Park Inn are absolutely phenomenal and make every stay special. I would also highly recommend going to their spa if you have the opportunity. This is a world class resort with world class people. Highly recommended if you are visiting Asheville or want a Southern retreat.

Yelp
The Omni grove park is a gorgeous hotel in Asheville, NC. I've stayed her on multiple occasions, been to a wedding reception here, ate at the bistro, visited the spa, visited for the gingerbread houses, and stopped in for the bar. I'm never disappointed with any of the services offered at the grove park and it's a beautiful location with beautiful views.

Yelp
What can one say about The Omni Grove Park Inn? This is a truly iconic hotel from the history in which is was built, the US Presidents since Howard Taft (1913) whom have stayed at the property, to the unique structure of solid rock and grand estate rooms. The property can be a bit confusing to navigate as it's built downward into a valley, thus you enter on the top floor and all other floors are below you. This coupled with two widely separated "towers" make for some interesting journeys to your destination. The staff are exceptionally friendly, accommodating and most everyone greets you with a Hello and eye contact, very professional. The one disappointment, for me a rather significant disappointment was the Spa. The Spa itself and all Spa related packages were completely booked from the day I checked in!? Going back now, I see buried in their website, the Spa is booked months in advance with hotel guests given priority (as they should). So... NO SPA, NO SPA PACKAGES. I was informed in fact, that bookings are taking place now, for March 2024!! This is a rather significant issue and you would think management would address it for the benefit of their guests. Perhaps build out another Spa?? I'm off my soapbox now, because I really enjoyed my stay.

Yelp
If you're coming to see the gingerbread houses, I'd recommend to come during the day. In the evening we got turned away because the parking lot was full. The hotel is beautiful but not very easy to get around. Staff was very friendly. Parking was expensive, $25.

Yelp
Beautiful historic Inn. It's huge and impeccably maintained and attended. We had dinner at Edison's over looking the golf course. There were only two vegetarian choices but they were both good. The server Maurice was spectacular. Very attentive and definitely added to the experience.

Yelp
I've been coming to the Omni for the past three years. It offers a little bit of everything, relaxation, beautiful mountain views, spa treatments, good restaurants, and overall an amazing vibe from everyone in the area. Spent our honeymoon nights at the Omni and this magnificent resort truly delivered a five star service. We will be back year after year to continue enjoying our home ways from home.

Yelp
Absolute gorgeous setting. Driving up you are impressed immediately. When you walk in the inside of the hotel is just as nice. The service was fast and extremely impressive and friendly. The hotel is huge and everything is very nice. Almost all of the employees we encountered were wonderful. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The views everywhere a great. My only complaint was that the hours of the restaurants and availability of food weren't that great.

Yelp
My husband and I recently returned, and the experience was much better! The spa was incredible, and the grounds were just so perfectly kept. The restaurants all have great food. The Edison still wouldn't let us sit outside; clearly, they only want people out there eating a full dinner. But honestly, there are 2 other restaurants here that have way better food. We would come back.

Yelp
How does one rate this beautiful, stunning historical hotel where the likes of F. Scott Fitzgerald occupied his favorite rooms, and most like penned ideas for famous novels? Once you enter you are taken in by the stone walls, the massive fireplace and the views - the epic views. Okay, this part gets five solid stars. However, once we were checked in, and we entered into our $900/night club floor suite, we were met with a bit of disappointment. The suite furnishings were in desperate need of upgrading. For $900 + per night, one expects a little more panache, a decorators touch, perhaps a little luxury. The room decor gets 2 stars, but the comfort of the bed 5 stars. Tub - 5 stars Shower-5 stars Towels- 3 Stars Bath Amenities - 3 stars Coffee Maker in room - a Kureg (ugh) Technical amenities-( places to plug in) - 1 star (seriously needs lamps and bedside clock with USB ports). View- 5 stars Furniture- 2 stars The club room food - 3.5 stars The club room service - 7 stars Let's discuss the Terrace View Restaurant: The Terrace View Restaurant - 3 stars for food and service: 24 oz. Prime Bone in Rib-eye priced at over $100 a La Carte - one expects a melt in your mouth, perfectly seasoned, nice charred thick cut piece of meat. Instead, we had a thin cut, grizzly, fatty, pre sliced gray steak. Half of which my husband chewed and spit out on his plate. I paid a hundred dollars for it, I was going to eat it. I was not going to send it back only to get another just like it. We ordered a salad, and we're still eating when they brought the steak. TIP: Never clear plates until everyone has finished, and never bring the main course when your guests are half way through their salad. I had to send the steak away. When we finished our salad, they brought our steak and forgot our potatoes, then they brought the wrong potatoes, then they brought the right potatoes but we were finished with our steak. I try to be understanding as I realize that most of the country is going through a hard time with staffing problems, so people are holding on to mediocre staff just to keep a warm body. Hey! We're a business and we feel your pain, but it was a $100 steak. The Grove Park is one of my all time favorite places I have ever been. The walls alone inspire me to open a journal and pen a few thoughts of my own. It will always be booked with awestruck travelers, and perhaps because of the esthetics alone, they never have to worry about any of the things I have pointed out. I hope that is not the case. There are a lot of concerning reviews on here. It is a wake up call!!! I will return again, and again and I hope they take my review seriously.

Yelp
We came to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. The free parking for 3 hours was great!! It was too hot out on the terrace so we hung out indoors on the comfy chairs and had cocktails & some small plates. The drinks, food & shops are pricey but that was expected. Beautiful views inside & out. We would definitely come back if we lived in the area.

Yelp
I love this place. Yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for. We always come for the gingerbread houses and a couple times throughout the year. It's beautiful to visit throughout the year.

Yelp
There is so much to do at the resort but we loved relaxing by the fire pits and in the lobby by the fire. We are definitely going to be back. This was the perfect romantic getaway.
