The Sparrow Hotel

I really wanted to LOVE this hotel because I’ve been on the hunt for a regular place to stay when I’m in Stockholm for work. Everything seemed great until the nightclub Nextdoor started up and I wasn’t able to get any sleep. I would’ve appreciated a warning that I was sharing a wall with them. The hotel provided earplugs but that did not help with the disco vibrations. Then at 7 am, when the music had finally died down, construction noises and drilling started. Comfy bed and friendly staff, cute hotel, but unfortunately all of this doesn’t matter when you can’t sleep.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful old building with wonderful old architectural features. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The rooms are inviting, comfortable and clean, the breakfast is delicious with a great selection of food and wonderful service. The hotel is within walking distance to all things Stockholm. Definitely recommended

Very nice boutique hotel. Great location. Wonderful breakfast every morning! Very helpful and polite staff. Smaller but cute rooms. We would stay again.

We loved everything about this hotel and it was the perfect base from which to explore everything which Stockholm has to offer. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, the room was fantastic; very stylish and clean with quality L'Occitane toiletries, rainfall shower and comfortable bed. We appreciated the gym although we didn't use it. The lifts worked fine for us, 5th floor was no problem. Breakfast was amazing quality and had an amazing French twist to it. We loved the croissants especially; some of the best we've ever eaten. We also enjoyed the evening meal we had in the bistro. The hotel was busy throughout our 5 night stay but the staff always did a great job at keeping the breakfast buffet going smoothly and there was always space to sit away from noisy groups/families with young children, which we appreciated. The location is very central and upmarket. Please be aware if staying on a Friday and/or Saturday night that there will be some noise from the road and/or adjacent bars and nightclubs. This isn't the fault of the hotel whatsoever but something you may wish to bear in mind if you are a light sleeper. Earplugs are provided if needed.

A nice Boutique Hotel. This is a self service hotel . Very clean and efficient and nice staff.The provided breakfast is very good and filling . The best coffee and Orange Juice . It’s in a very good area with many high end stores. Nice restaurants nearby. About a ten minute or less walk to the water and the handy Tram 7. Buy your SL tickets they will be checking .

Lovely property with fantastic breakfast. The property was clean, charming and in a great location. We stayed for 9 days and it was a great home base + we saved a ton of money not having to run out and great breakfast everyday.

Stayed here for 3 nights when in Stockholm to watch the diamond league athletics. Fab hotel a bit quirky very pleasant and efficient staff. We had an attic room which was lovely if small, breakfast was lovely and definitely not a big chain style of breakfast! Lovely location in nice are if the city! Highly recommended

The Sparrow Hotel was pretty good. But there are some things I didn't really like. 1. The room was pretty small compared to other hotels I have been. Even when the bathroom was very big, the room itself just felt small. 2. The breakfast was good, but it didn't have the standard stuff you get in most restaurants, like scrambled eggs or baked beans. On one hand I really like that it is different but I think not everyone will like the breakfast variety they offer. Now to the good stuff. 1. Service is top. 2. The Location is very good 3. The price is ok for what you get. 4. The Shower/ bathroom is great. 5. The bed and especially the pillows are really nice, i slept very well and comfortable. 6. The noise from outside is minimal. So it's a really good hotel for a good night sleep. All in all a really good Hotel with just a pretty small room.
