The moment you step into The Sparrow, time begins to play tricks on you. You find yourself gently transported to 1950s Paris — soft chansons float through the air like whispers from another era, the buttery scent of fresh croissants dances through the lobby, and the vintage elevator? A whimsical ride all on its own.
There’s a rare charm here — not staged, not polished to perfection, but lived-in, loved, and utterly disarming. It’s the kind of place where the walls seem to hum with stories, and breakfast feels like a stolen morning in Montmartre.
I even spoke with a fellow Dutchman who’s been living in Stockholm for over 30 years. He told me, without hesitation: this is the most delightful hotel in the city.
