We just returned from a wonderful three night stay at this excellent hotel. The room was very high-quality and big we booked the junior suite for our wedding anniversary. When you arrive at the hotel it’s instantly a relaxing atmosphere and this feeling remained with us throughout our entire stay. We also ate in the bistro on the first night and that was also excellent and a great atmosphere. We started with some oysters I had a steak, my wife had the same and it was very enjoyable. Furthermore, it’s an excellent location close to everything that you would want to get to in Stockholm. We can definitely highly recommend this hotel.

The Sparrow Hotel was pretty good. But there are some things I didn't really like. 1. The room was pretty small compared to other hotels I have been. Even when the bathroom was very big, the room itself just felt small. 2. The breakfast was good, but it didn't have the standard stuff you get in most restaurants, like scrambled eggs or baked beans. On one hand I really like that it is different but I think not everyone will like the breakfast variety they offer. Now to the good stuff. 1. Service is top. 2. The Location is very good 3. The price is ok for what you get. 4. The Shower/ bathroom is great. 5. The bed and especially the pillows are really nice, i slept very well and comfortable. 6. The noise from outside is minimal. So it's a really good hotel for a good night sleep. All in all a really good Hotel with just a pretty small room.

Stayed here for 3 nights when in Stockholm to watch the diamond league athletics. Fab hotel a bit quirky very pleasant and efficient staff. We had an attic room which was lovely if small, breakfast was lovely and definitely not a big chain style of breakfast! Lovely location in nice are if the city! Highly recommended

The moment you step into The Sparrow, time begins to play tricks on you. You find yourself gently transported to 1950s Paris — soft chansons float through the air like whispers from another era, the buttery scent of fresh croissants dances through the lobby, and the vintage elevator? A whimsical ride all on its own. There’s a rare charm here — not staged, not polished to perfection, but lived-in, loved, and utterly disarming. It’s the kind of place where the walls seem to hum with stories, and breakfast feels like a stolen morning in Montmartre. I even spoke with a fellow Dutchman who’s been living in Stockholm for over 30 years. He told me, without hesitation: this is the most delightful hotel in the city. I couldn’t agree more. 🇸🇪🕊️🥐

Loved our time at The Sparrow. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is unique with winding corridors and surprise lounges on floors. It also has some older elevators which are adorned properly for the hotel. It is very charming. We stayed in the cheapest room which was plenty large for two adults and most importantly clean!. We also had a small balcony looking over the neighborhood. Perhaps our favorite part was the included daily morning breakfast. Delicious, with a variety of lite fare fresh from the kitchen. We also enjoyed their lounge bar for a nightcap. Recommend the Brandy Alexander 🍸

Positives :Room comfortable, nice shower, location good. Negatives: Breakfast very poor. Little choice compared to other hotels I have stayed in. Croissants were very greasy and unpleasant. Hot food looked revolting.Food not covered on buffet. Correct me if I'm wrong but flies exist in Stockholm and they don't wash their feet before walking on food. Lifts slow and tiny. One was very antiquated and didn't work if the door was left open. Was not impressed that linen trollies were left on each floor partly blocking the staircase. I'd guess the local fire brigade wouldn't be happy about this either. Reception staff were pleasant enough but came across as needing more training

I stayed here in late January and was extremely pleased with all aspects of my stay. I had one of the basic rooms, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable, while it was small, I did not mind because I did not spend much time there aside from sleeping and bathing, plus there are very spacious communal lounging rooms if more space is needed. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional and abundant, one of the highlights of the stay, and if you have a very early departure they can arrange to provide you with a generous to go breakfast. I had dinner one night in the bistro and the bar special coursed menu was an incredible deal. All the reception staff were wonderful especially Grace, Viktor, Alexandra, Ella, and Phillip plus Emilie in the bistro. If I ever need to travel to Stockholm in the future I would absolutely stay here again.

What guests say about the breakfast is true. It is really good. Rooms are good and the location is great. If you need to park your car then there are several Aimo garages close by.
