Super excited to visit here finally, I’ve searched out several Vegan places in Greenville and this was at the top of my list to try and well worth the visit! Super cute building, loved the decor and vibe inside, plenty of tables and some cool couches to hang out at as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful, they gave us all the vegan options and I chose the vegan version of a blt. Super tasty and the vegan cupcake was amazing as well as the chocolate chip cookie. Definitely plan a visit here soon, you won’t be disappointed!

Cute, tasty spot. I had the vegan cinnamon roll and the vegan biscuits and gravy. The cinnamon roll was delicious! Soft and pillowy in the middle, with a crispy outer edge. You’d never know it was vegan. The biscuits and gravy were good, a little salty for me but I’m sensitive to salt. The restaurant itself is nice. Open and airy, and it wasn’t so crowded that you couldn’t find a place to sit. It’s also great that you can easily walk to it from the swamp rabbit trail. Would definitely visit again!

Very nice and clean place sit and enjoy breakfast or lunch. The seating area is spacious with great window seats. Art work is hanging on the walls for your viewing pleasure. There is a large variety on the menu board. Please awesome sweet desserts.

This place is amazing!!! We got the tofu scramble, biscuits & gravy and a chocolate pastry! All were so yummy and service was great! Atmosphere is beautiful with the stained glass and artwork that is for sale.

I was able to catch this place open one morning and stopped in. There is a small menu with something for everyone. Theres a bakery case and different coffee methods for you to choose from. I went with a tofu scramble and it was deliscious and made with added flavors of a typicle tofu scramble. The food was fresh and the visit was happy. A winning combination for any day!

I ordered a soy and dairy free chocolate cake for my wife's birthday and everyone was raving about it. Cake was moist and the ganache was even better. Finding a cake that is vegan isn't too hard but soy free makes it impossible. That is until I called The Spatula, they made it super easy to order and was very accommodating. Will definitely return!

This place is amazing love the food and service. Definitely our new spot to eat great food. Love the vegan 🌱 options, we had a special of the day Tacos 🌮 they were delicious, for dessert the doble chocolate and raspberry cake yummmmm it was soft, moist and perfect amount of chocolate 😍 .

Stopped by Saturday a little after 9 am. What i got was good however the supply was very limited. Both chef and person dishing food out did not have gloves on. Using their hands to handle food.

This was our first visit here. We will certainly give it another try, but for now a 3+ star review is fair. There's really not much ambience inside. It's an older building with exposed rafters and that looks neat. The tables are spread wide apart and I'm assuming that is done because of Covid. We went for lunch on a Saturday and the "main"display case had three items in it. Four individual red velvet cakes, one large chocolate cake, and another cake that I did not identify. A side display case had brownies, a handful of chocolate chip cookies, two cinnamon rolls, and a couple croissants. Again, nothing spectacular and certainly nothing eye-popping that I would expect from a bakery. Their breakfast and lunch menus have about 8 to 10 items each. We had a smoked chicken sandwich on croissant and a roast beef sandwich with red peppers on sourdough. And we split a side of orzo pasta. The sandwiches were very tasty with lots of flavor. The orzo salad had chickpeas, black olives, and artichoke hearts but lacked any zest. A little bit of balsamic vinegar or lemon would have done the trick. For dessert we split a gluten-free and vegan chocolate brownie. It was very dense, very chocolatey, and a wonderful ending to our meal. We look forward to our next visit and possibly a better review.

This place is vegan friendly. It's a smaller restaurant, maybe 10 tables but ample parking. At lunchtime on a Friday it had a steady flow but didn't get crowded. The tempeh sandwich was a weak "fine". The overwhelming flavor was vegan Mayo and onion. The bread was phenomenal but the tomato was flavorless, tempeh was surprisingly flavorless, the romaine was cumbersome, and the avocado was on its last leg. It felt like some flavor component was missing. I think that Bib lettuce, heirloom tomato, and heavily seasoned bright green avocado with the addition of something vinegary would have made this a robustly good sandwich. I took a few slices of cake to go. None were bad but none were memorable either. The intensity of flavor seemed to be lacking and a few were dense verging on gummy. I love how vegan friendly they are so I'm hoping to try them again and give a more robust review.

Excellent desert and with a coffee was an awesome afternoon snack. Will be back for some of the sandwiches. All employees very friendly and helpful Thanks

First time in today and impressed. Excellent and reasonable breakfast/lunch/bakery items with veg. and vegan options. Pictured was the special of the day, $8 vegan enchiladas... enjoyed very much. My wife had the omelette with veggies and mused about how a simple omelette could taste so good...

I need to come here more! Their sweets are the best in town-- I love their cowgirl cookies, cinnamon roll, and all of the cakes! My uncle had their GF brownies and said it was to die for.

The Spatula was a little out or way traveling through Greenville but the pictures and the menu online made us decide to stop. I am so glad we did. What a great find. The restaurant is very cool with very interesting art and decor. The menu offers traditional and vegan fair. The pastries we had were delicious. We had the orange cranberry muffins On the suggestion of the waiter. They were great. I also had A prosciutto bagel on an everything bagel. It was probably one of the best bagels I have had. Lastly what capped off our visit was the friendliness of the staff. They we great. I could recommend this place more. If your in the area it's definitely worth the stop.

Great new bakery/cafe right off old Cedar Lane! Call more than half of the menu is vegan and the owners and staff are very friendly! Call the atmosphere is very open and clean and if you're looking for a great vegan treats in the Greenville area you can stop looking because this is the place.(ask for the vegan cinnamon rolls!)

This NEW restaurant had starting getting alot of traction and I try to support all of our local Mom and Pop businesses. First of all, the plant-based quiche was delicious. It was my first and it was very tasty well prepared and well presented. After finishing my meal I was attracted to the pastry display and so I stepped to the counter and began speaking with the gentleman behind the counter about my selections. As we are discussing the variety another customer enters the store, steps to the counter and completely disregarded our conversation. He began asking the same gentleman about a potential order. Instead of him saying, "I'll be with you in a minute" he ignored me and redirected his attention to this customer. After taking the customer's order he THEN returns to assist me. I was furious and told him if I came back then perhaps I would buy something else. At the moment I do not plan on returning. Let's be clear, the current social economic climate cannot be an excuse for lack of courtesy and poor service of any establishment.

The Spatula's vegan selections are delicious. We've tried the vegan lemon and the chocolate cakes. Not overly sweet. The flavors are perfectly balanced. Honestly the best cakes we've ever had. I highly recommend the Spatula.

I had lunch there today and it was wonderful. The split pea soup was the perfect texture. The ham and cheese on a croissant was full of flavor and toasted just right. The cafe has and open and airy feel with nice music and art. I did not sample the desserts but next time might start there. They look very tempting. Give this small independent restaurant your business.

Love this place. The owner is so friendly and I am obsessed with the orzo salad and pumpkin muffins! Also love that it's just off the Swamp Rabbit Trail, so I can go there on my bike.
