Big portions, but there is one thing you HAVE to know ahead of time: when you choose your entree, you are picking your carbohydrate, NOT your protein. So, you can get beef, fish, chicken, whatever with any entree, I think, but if you want the fried rice (highly reccomend), pick that and then your meet. Also, the hibiscus drink tastes like Fall, not Spring, so keep that in mind. The meat pies were fantastic and exactly what I expected. Overall, yeah, try it out! ^_^

During my recent visit to The Spice Grille in Moorhead, I had the pleasure of enjoying authentic Ghanaian cuisine. The fufu and jollof rice were particularly delightful, offering rich and satisfying flavors. The fried tilapia was expertly prepared, with a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful meat. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff provided attentive service, enhancing the overall dining experience. For those seeking genuine West African dishes in the area, The Spice Grille is a commendable choice.

Beautiful small locally owned restaurant! Owners were amazing hosts! Made us feel like family! We had the restaurant to ourselves as we came in for an early dinner late lunch. Service was outstanding, food was incredible and atmosphere was beautiful. Will definitely be back when we are in the area! We came for the Fufu but everything we tried was amazing!

Unexpectedly found this gem while trying to help a friend visit 3 new states on her quest to visiting all 50 states. The location near an empty mall gave me pause, but it was love at first, second and third bite. The omotuo and peanut soup is delicious. The pepper soup is spicy and flavorful. The Jollof rice and chicken was also tasty. The food was so good I stopped the impromptu roadtrip just to highly recommend this spot.

The food was wonderful. I'm happy to find a restaurant in the F-M area that serves plantains! I definitely want to go back and try more of the menu. The staff was a little quiet and distant, but friendly. Don't be afraid to ask the staff questions - they were more than happy to answer all of mine!

Fabulous food! A little heat and definitely Caribbean flair. Two teenage boys ate the spicy cauliflower appetizer and wanted more 😮 For three of us, 2 drinks, 3 appetizers, and 3 entrees, the bill (with tip) was about $100 - a bit on the pricey side for FM.

Yelp
Their food is good. I have to be honest. The joloff tastes great, their fish is moist, they even have chicken wing options. Price of the food isn't too bad either. Probably the best, reliable Ghanaian restaurant in the Fargo/Moorehead area.

Yelp
Was visiting Fargo but wanted something different. So we stop by since I never had African food. Jollof Rice was terrific.

Yelp
Rane and i had a wonderful experience here. We entered this light, beautiful space with fabulous hi-life music. Our host was gracious and even turned up the music when we asked. Rane ordered a vegetarian spinach dish and he was able order the heat from 1to 10. I had a dish made from yams, black eyed peas and rice in a tomato sauce with ground yucca for a garnish of ground yucca. Absolutely delicious in every way. We highly recommend this little gem. We are from New Mexico and have few African restaurants. We'll come all the way back for these flavors and hospitality.

Yelp
This place was excellent! I expected a more casual environment, maybe even an order at the counter situation. But it turned out to be quite nice, well-kept, and even had some fine dining touches. All of the food was super flavorful and the meat was incredibly tender. I got the curry and it was amazing. It was very rich so I couldn't quite eat all of it. I got the jallof rice with it instead of white rice, but in hindsight the white would've been a better pairing since the curry was so rich. Will definitely go back again and recommend to friends and family!

Yelp
Very elegant Ghanaian restaurant perfect for family, date night, and special events. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. This gets Kellen's two thumbs up.

Yelp
Very yummy! We were unfamiliar with the menu and so ordered what the waitress suggested, which was a delicious whole fish, a side of cole slaw and some rice. The rice seemed dry at first but then had an immense amount of growing flavor.

Yelp
Great to find Ghanaian food! The jollof rice & chicken was authentic and really good. I asked for a side of their hot sauce to go with it - recommend it. Can't wait to get back through Fargo and stop here again.

Yelp
I had purchased a SaveCoin coupon for this place and was excited to check it out!! I'm a firm believer in trying everything once. When we got there we were promptly greeted and brought to our seats. We got the Jollof Rice with Chicken and the Roasted Plantains with Mincemeat. The chicken was SO tender and juicy and the flavors and spices were awesome. The plantains and meat was also amazing. I definitely look forward to going back and trying other dishes!

Yelp
The good is damdelicious! My Ethiopian sister and I are here gushing over the goat curry and the shrimp appetizer. Akua's special spice mix does the trick. A welcome addition to the FM ethnic food scene. I've also held an event in the private room, and all 12 attendees loved the various appetizers that we ate. Akua and her team are responsive to customer questions. Come check it out, you will become a repeat customer like me

Yelp
They are located in the former Sarello's and short lived IDK space. We had lunch there on Friday with a group of friends. The service was wonderful and our server patiently answered all of our questions and recommended dishes to try. We started with the fried and spicy plantations and the jerk chicken wings. Both were delicious!! The goat curry was spicy and the goat was cooked perfectly. The beans and rice and groundnut soup were both wonderful too. I'm so happy this restaurant is in Moorhead! We will be back!!

Yelp
I found this place in an online search while planning a trip to the area. We were looking for something outside the box. I contacted ahead of time to verify that they had GF options. The menu lacks description but the server was patient to explain and answer questions. The roasted plantains were delicious. We both had curry. Portions were a little small and prices a little steep but the flavors and quality were excellent. Dining area was also nice and clean. Located next to a mall and about 2 blocks from the Hjemkomst Center.
