TLDR: relatively inexpensive food and good milk tea in a no thrills environment Came at 10:30 and got a beef rice roll, sweet and sour chicken rice plate (under $10), and one hot milk tea, with a cold milk tea to go. Sweet and sour chicken was a bit too breaded and crispy for me personally but flavor was good. The rice roll was my favorite, soft and very tasty. The hot milk tea needed a bit more sweetener but the cold milk tea was creamy and just the right amount of sweetness

Google
I just ordered the steamed rice rolls for takeout, Pork, Beef, and Barbecue Pork, and I added some extra lettuce and bean sprouts for each roll. They might look delicious, but they were just okay. The rice rolls were kind of too thick, and the bean sprouts were raw. For the BBQ Pork, I could tell that they just chopped the barbecue pork in small pieces and placed them in the rice rolls. I guess I would not get their rice rolls anymore.

Google
Love their chang fen (steamed rice noodle rolls). It's so soft and just melted in my mouth. Also recommend their egg beef chow fen and sweet and sour pork. They all come with huge portions and are very flavorful.

There is no parking around but that's the situation for all shops at Chinatown. The place is Small. The price is good, got the rice roll with egg and tea for under $9. The rice roll texture is loose not q enough but I still like the favor. Personally, I like BBQ pork more than pork and beef.

Google
This is a good spot to eat at since they open at 8am and most restaurants don’t open until 10-11. They offer their whole menu not just certain items from open too! I see a lot of locals come and order their rice noodle rolls which it seems like they make it fresh when you order. I also like their beef chow fun, it had good wok hay. Yes they serve their food on paper plates and paper bowls but maybe their dish washer is broken lol. Honestly a good spot with reasonable prices and the food is good too.

Google
Saw this place either on IG/Tiktok and added to my go to list when Im in SF. Came last year Oct 2023 for togo but they told me would take up to 45 mins to get my rice rolls order which is ridiculous, so I left. Came back to SF March 2024 and went after opening time like 30mins. The waitress was talking to other tables in Chinese in a good mood. I came in didn’t speak Chinese even tho I’m Asian and still received attitude. I was hungry. Otherwise Id long gone. Minimum $10 purchase for credit cards I liked the shrimp rice roll. The congee was such a scam for almost $9. If you’re into bad service, long wait and scamming foods, you can check them out if you don’t trust me.

This place was packed when we arrived. It has indoor and outdoor seating. It is famous for its rice roll. We were seated right away. There is not much room between on table to another and the place is not very bright. When I browse through the menu. I am puzzled. It is overwhelming because there are so many dishes on the menu. This restaurant serves cantonese/ Hong Kong style dihes. We ordered charsiu rice noofle and egg rice noodle, stir fry chinese flowering cauliflower, eggplant and salty fish claypot, and Singapore stiry fry rice noodle. All are served in paper plates. This place serves everything on paper plate and cup. The food is good and the price is reasonable. Itvis authentic chinese food and looks like the customers are mostly local. It is cash only.

Google
Hidden gem in China town. We ordered a pork rice roll (cheung fun) and a chicken clay pot. Both tasted very fresh and authentic Cantonese food. The service was great too. Will come back to try more dishes.

Yelp
Very nice service. They don't really speak English but they accommodate regardless. They were constantly cleaning when I arrived & brought me water & chopsticks when I sat down. They keep it pretty cold inside so bring a jacket lol. But over all it's a nice "mom & pop" shop. A hidden gem to be exact. I got the steamed shrimp rice noodles, and an order of egg rolls. It took about 10 minutes to come! Very simple and clean mom & pop place.

Crystal L.

Yelp
Solid 4/5 for me especially given the prices. Portions are not the biggest, but it's perfect if you aren't going with too many people or you're looking to try many different things. Prices are also very affordable, it ended up being around $13 per person and my group of 6 ordered many different dishes. They known for their rice rolls, which were soft chewy and delicious. However, I feel like they could've given us a little bit more meat especially the pork rice roll. The beef chow was solid the wonton noodle was nothing special and didn't impress me.

Nathan V.

Yelp
4.5/5 for me Great spot in Chinatown that is known for their cheung fun - rice noodle rolls. During this visit, we ordered their porridge, beef chow fun, wonton noodles, mapo tofu, and cheung fun. My top two were definitely the beef chow fun and cheung fun. I would skip on the wonton noodles next time. Walked by a couple times and it always seems decently busy. You may have to be persistent in calling them over when you need something or the check, but that's the only gripe with the service. Food and price wise this place is awesome! All of us came out stuffed and it was 13 per person with tip for 6 people.

Wing L.

Yelp
Authentic HongKong food, great price. Everyone works at this restaurant is so friendly and provides great service.

Yelp
I was lured in when I saw a video of these rice noodles on Instagram. This spot was packed with locals during weekday lunch. I will say it could be a little intimidating upon entering. No one really acknowledged us, so we had to be proactive to get seated. During a rush, you will likely sit at a shared table with other customers dining in. Definitely something to keep in mind. It is a bit chaotic in there, lots of people picking up orders or waiting to sit and there is no space to be out of the way. There are a bunch of like trash boxes all over the restaurant. The food is served on disposable plates, so I guess it's just an easier way for them to quickly clean up. There's just a lot going on. Our order was taken quickly upon sitting and food came out fast. We had read some reviews that the rice noodles would take long, so we anticipated that. It took around 30 minutes. Very generous portion sizes and tasty. I enjoyed the salt and pepper pork chops and shrimp rice noodles were 100% worth the wait. The Mongolian beef was on the sweeter side so not my favorite, but the meat and veggies were cooked perfectly. The protein plates were served with a heaping side of rice. So many dishes sounded and looked so good. You really can't beat these prices and authentic flavors. I'll have to be back for the eggplant and green beans.

Yelp
Girlfriend saw this spot pop up because of the rice noodles, so we decided to give it a try. I'll start by saying, if you are looking for an affordable and filling meal, this is definitely a great spot for a solid meal for under $12. We decided to split a couple of rice plates and an order of the shrimp rice noodles. The salt and pepper pork chop was really tasty, not a ton of meat, but for an average appetite, it's plenty. The Mongolian beef was not it for us, as the sauce was really sweet. We were expecting something with a little more spice, and would not get this again. Both plates came with hella rice and an ok amount of meat. I saw a couple people at our shared table get the beef and bean sprouts, that's something I'd definitely get next time around. As for the rice noodles, these were really good. The noodles were soft and fresh. Thanks to other reviews, we knew this dish took a long time (30+ minutes) so it helped manage expectations. while good and affordable, don't know if it's worth the wait. Id rather call in and just get it to go to save time. It was pretty packed for the lunch rush, and we sat at a shared table with other diners. Everything comes with single use plates and silverware. If I came back, it'd be for another rice plate and a Togo order of the rice noodles.

Yelp
We had no idea the spicy shrimp made their own rice noodles until we saw people posting it online. We went on a Saturday morning around 10am and it was packed. Noted that this is a locals restaurant so there are people here all the time and it's even busy for outdoor seating on weekdays. When we walked in we went up to the counter and grabbed a menu. We were sat almost immediately at a family style table where we shared with another small family. We ordered three rice noodles, shrimp, beef and chives? As well as some porridge. The waiter did tell us it would be about a half hour wait, however we didn't mind. The porridge came out rather quickly and we did wait a bit for the noodles, when they did come out they were soft and super flavorful. You could tell they are homemade by the texture and freshness. We plan on going back maybe earlier next time.

Yelp
Parking: The restaurant is located at the heart of Chinatown SF, so parking is basically nonexistent. Do yourself a favor and park at the under ground garage (733 Kearny St, San Francisco, CA 94108). This will save you the hassle of sitting through all the traffic and weaving through 1-way streets. Experience: Be warned, this is a legit local Chinese joint. So don't expect any type of good service. Upon arrival, we were super confused on how to get a seat. Ultimately, we just stood in the line to the counter and someone finally seated us. Grab your own menu from the counter before going to your seat. There's also a very high chance that you'd be sharing your table with someone else. But don't worry, they somehow got the system down when it comes to paying your bill, which is also at the counter. Service is super slow, so be prepared to wait 15mins for everything. And if you're here for the cheung fun/rice noodles, be prepared to wait 30mins OR MORE. So don't come starving or you'll be hangry. Food: We ordered 1 beef and 1 shrimp cheung fun. We didn't realize we could add additional toppings like egg, corn,etc.. for extra costs until later... so this was super unfortunate as I definitely think the additional toppings would've enhanced the rice noodles. Overall, the rice noodles are 4 stars as we haven't had anything of this quality in the Bay Area. However, the service is really 3 stars.

Yelp
We recently stopped by here based on seeing some IG reels about its chang fen. It's in a smaller alley in the heart of Chinatown, and there's plenty of Cantonese being spoken around you, so you definitely get the Chinatown experience. The service is really really slow. Everything, from getting the water, the check, hot sauce, felt like it took 15 minutes, and getting the food itself took an hour (although they do warn you about this). It felt practically torturous, and I ended up going inside multiple times to serve myself (I felt bad about this, but really, I could not wait yet another 20 minutes just to get another pair of chopsticks when they were right there). The food itself was good, but really didn't make up for the wait. The chang fen had a nice chew, but the sauce was a bit too runny, so a lot of the bites weren't super flavorful. The hong kong milk tea was also pretty good, but was a bit overly thick for my taste. Overall, pretty good, but might be a bit overhyped right now!

Yelp
Cheap, delicious, authentic Cantonese food here. They're quite busy on the weekends. The majority of diners mainly speak Cantonese so the waiters mainly speak Cantonese as well. Pro tip: credit cards are accepted for transactions over $10 Food: 5/5. I'm a big fan of their rice noodle dish. It's simple yet super delicious. It's also super cheap. I added an egg for an extra dollar but the typical price for their signature rice noodle is $6. I don't think I can get this price anywhere else! I also got a HK milk tea and it was amazing. My bill came out to be less than $10!! Service: 3/5. They are super busy! Had to sit myself down and the waiter shortly after handed me a menu. Their waiting time for food can be a bit on the long side because of how busy they are.

Lawrence L.

Yelp
Come here for their rice rolls! It can take about 20-30 minutes to make so keep that in mind. The bbq pork and shrimp rice rolls 5/5. Definitely worth the price and wait! Very large portions and tasty. Planning on trying the dried shrimp roll the next time for some more umami/shrimp taste The beef noodle soups was fine 2/5. The stand out was the beef was very tender and packed with flavor. The broth and noodles were ok. They use rice noodles that soaked up all the noodles and ended up turning the "noodle soup" into a rice dish. The wonton soup 3/5. I'm a sucker for Hon's down the street. Their broth and wontons are much more flavorful. Will be back for the rice rolls

Alex P.

Yelp
Food was really good here. Super cheap and affordable and big portions. The service was quite slow, but it was a busy time and we totally understand the delay. Right in the heart of Chinatown. We were able to get a seat outside and watch people walk by and see all the scenery. Great place to grab brunch, lunch, dinner and I would come back for sure. Recommend going with a larger group so you can order more items and try them all out!

Fanny C.

Yelp
Ahhhhhh! I discovered this place on Instagram and immediately went. All my favorite dishes in one location. Attachment #1 has to be my go to at every chinese restaurant. It is packed with flavor and I will say this is my favorite restaurant with that dish. The rice noodle roll was so soft and wish we got more. The porridge was great but lacked minced pork (only a couple pieces). We sat outside which was a good choice because we got to experience sunny chinatown. You do have to flag down the workers if there aren't many people sitting outside but once they get to you, the food and service was fast! I am coming back to get more rice soon!

Alice C.

Yelp
So cheap and so good!! My friend saw a viral video of their char siu cheong fun and we literally ate the whole box in less than 5 mins. So much flavor and the perfect consistency. I wish we had more of an appetite to order more! There are so many yummy things on their menu. The establishment itself was filled with elderly Cantonese people, which was an indicator of great authentic food. Service in these types of shops is definitely hit or miss, especially for someone with broken Chinese like me, but their mannerisms and sharp tone of voice kind of made me feel at home lmao

Carrie E.

Yelp
4.5 stars for the shrimp steamed rice noodles. One of the best Cherng fun (steam rice noodle) in Chinatown, thin and smooth in texture with fresh shrimp. Yummy! 4.5 starts because the soy sauce tasted like regular soy sauce and not the sweet Cherng fun soy sauce that's usually accompanied with it.

Vidhi P.

Yelp
This place is good! I came here as a part of a food tour and wasn't pleasantly and adequately surprised. The food is much better than the restaurant initially seems on the outside. I tried the famous rice rolls with shrimp, and they were as good as promised. the noodles were bouncy and juicy. There was plenty of shrimp and it was fresh and delicious. The soy sauce went perfectly, and the portion was substantial as well. They have patio seating on the street and it's pretty packed. I would recommend this place and would come back to try their other food!

Annie L.

Yelp
The spicy shrimp is famous for their Cheung Fun. I ordered their shrimp Cheung fun to go. It's thick twisted rice noodles with shrimps cut in half. It was $7. It was typical tasting, nothing special. I used the soy sauce otherwise it's bland. The service at pick up was horrid. Three servers saw me and didn't acknowledge me. They serviced tables, answered phones and started helping people who got there after me. I did not feel they care or want my business. I said thank you after she handed me my food with no response.

Samantha G.

Yelp
Definitely one of the cheapest eat you can find in San Francisco Chinatown we spent $30 in total for three dishes which is amazing under the inflation. The place is really busy so when we entered, there are lots of unclean tables, and it doesn't look really tidy. I would still say the service is pretty good, it reminds me of those small restaurants open in communities, ppl are direct and they work fast here. I would recommend the rice rolls here it's not Hong Kong style, instead you can kinda customize it yourself by adding ingredients you like, eggs, corn, verges and more. I really have nothing to complain about the Rice plate either, $8 for fish fillet and eggplants, literally the cheapest I've ever seen.

Jeff L.

Yelp
Got the porkegg cherng fun and the shrimpegg cherng fun. It was good. I liked it. Takes a while to make. Food is good. Ambiance is a bunch of old chinese folk. Locals. Good. Screaming hobo outside. Not so great.

Jason L.

Yelp
The overall service is very bad. Don't pay with cash, and expect chances!!! The lady won't return changes, and assumed it all goes to tip! Also, we have two adults and an elderly, the lady don't satisfied for us to just ordering two dishes and three drinks. But the food is pretty good though.

Simone O.

Yelp
We were interested in the rice noodle, but they said we'd have to eat an hour for them. That was the main reason that we came but ended up pivoting to get the preserved egg minced pork porridge and chinese donut and some beef stew with flat noodle. They are extremely busy so you need to make sure to flag or go up to the counter if you need something. They also mainly speak Cantonese as most of the diners were the same way. Wish I could have tried their cheung fen but maybe will come back not on a Saturday lunch to try it!

Angie Y.

Yelp
I came here on Saturday for lunch, and it was super busy, mostly with cantonese families and elderly. I got a fresh shrimp rice noodle and hot milk tea. The waitress warned me it would take a while, but I didn't mind because I wasn't that hungry anyways. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes. The milk tea was nice and creamy, and not too sweet. The rice noodle was soft and tender, with lots of fresh shrimp pieces and green onion. It came with what tasted like regular soy sauce. Although I wish the rice noodle was a little thinner and came with sweet soy sauce, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion was pretty big and I was surprised that there were so much shrimp. My total came to $8!

Mar C.

Yelp
I too was a tourist who was enticed to come here because of an IG reel. There were two other tables when we walked in, we were seated and got menus pretty quickly. Not looking for a full meal, my group and I opted for their rice rolls. We got a dried shrimp, pork and beef. It came out in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. I was a little disappointed to see disposable plates, but get it (especially if they went viral in the past). They even put the sauce that goes with it in disposable plastic containers, even tho we were dining in. The rice rolls were 100% silky smooth and thin. How do they do it?! Had ample fillings/toppings for the price point. 3* just for that! As far as the service and ambience, it's definitely a hole in the wall. They could use a bathroom upgrade. I also ordered in Cantonese, so I think that helped with our service.

linda d.

Yelp
My hubby and I order fried rice with shrimp and eggrolls, it is delicious. The place is okay and staff from the kitchen are friendly when serving you the food.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
I decided to come here after seeing an ig reels for their rice rolls. As someone who loves rice rolls I knew I had to come check it out. Honestly I was disappointed. It lacked the signature taste of a rice roll. Perhaps it was an off day and the batter was different today. I just wasn't impressed with it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good or amazing as others have said. On the other hand their Peking spareribs was really good and I would definitely order that again. HK milk tea was good but it's unsweetened.

Stacy T.

Yelp
If you speak Cantonese it will be much easier to order here. Almost all the patrons were elderly Chinese, which is always a great sign. They know where the intersection of taste and value are! I went to grab lunch after seeing the IG on their rice noodles (~$8) and got side tracked when I saw beef stew wonton noodle soup (~$10), so I got both! The shrimp rice noodle roll was average but portion size for the price was on point. I'm not sure if I'll order again but the beef stew wonton noodles were legit yummy. I would say its pretty authentically homestyle. As i was slurping noisily in my corner, my office mate commented on how delicious it smelled! I would definitely return for that and to try some of the rice plates. A much cheaper alternative to the overpriced lunch places near my office. Just know that you are in Chinatown and to have expectations set accordingly for friendliness and ambiance.

Christy C.

Yelp
The service really ruined our experience but we did come on a Saturday on a nice weather day for lunch. The staff seemed over it and the kitchen clearly could not keep up with the volume. Don't expect friendly service -- this is a classic low key cantonese restaurant that just trying to feed you. It seemed like a staple place for native cantonese / chinese families; super helpful if you can speak cantonese or mandarin. Everything was super affordable and portions were great. Calamari was delicious and leftovers even tasted great the next day (impressive!). The dried shrimp rice noodle was our least favorite and pretty hard to eat, although I blame our error on ordering as I thought it was going to be fried shrimp rice noodles. Egg rice noodle was good.

Edwin L.

Yelp
Not a big fan! The Spicy Shrimp might be on everyone's list for being the best cheung fun in town, but I'd say it's quite over hyped. It's true that they have better quality cheung fun than any other place in the bay area, but I'd say it's probably 10-15% better. Truthfully, the biggest turn off to this restaurant is the long wait. We arrived on Saturday 11:30 and waited for 73 minutes before we got our order which we finished in less than 10 mins . Food itself is low cost so that's a plus, but if you're tight on time it's definitely not worth it. Seemed like everything else came out quickly so other dishes might be worth to try.

Leung T.

Yelp
Odd place. They serve the basics but the prices are lower. The congee is average the 腸粉 is made after you order it so its quite good. Opens at 8am so lots of folks having breakfast.

Cynthia L.

Yelp
This establishment isn't eye catching when you walk past but definitely visit! I absolutely think that this place is authentic and everything I ordered was fresh and comforting. We ordered a seafood congee, water spinach, and rice noodle roll with shrimp. The water spinach was very delicious, crunchy and I believe they stir fried it with bean curd which added an interesting taste to it. As a taiwanese, the way we cook water spinach is more simple and the flavors are emphasized on the spinach itself, so this was a fun twist to it. The rice noodles were also good, when I had rice noodle rolls in Flushing, NY they charged a lot for just 2-3 rolls. This place is much cheaper and gives a large portion for what you pay for. Very worth and the sauce was yummy! The congee was a great consistency as well; a perfectly comforting dish that was well needed after a windy San Francisco day! It was definitely delicious and everything was made to order. It's also a plus that everything was very reasonable priced, this place definitely does not overcharge even though it's in the heart of a very busy tourist area of Chinatown.

Michael Y.

Yelp
You know this place is legit when you walk in and see every table filled with Chinese grandpas. Not our vibe though, so we opted to takeout, ordering 3 rice rolls, wontons, century egg congee, and beef rice noodles. The rice rolls were good, but they were pretty stingy with meat in the other dishes. Prices were reasonable.

Anthony Y.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant in chinatown a couple of times and the food has always been good! I would recommend others to try out this restaurant because the food won't fail to amaze you. Customer service: 8.5/10 Food: 9/10 Side dishes/appetizers: 8.5/10 Overall, I would come back to this restaurant whenever I visit chinatown and this will be one of my to go restaurants!

Drake L.

Yelp
Cheap prices, food was tasty, but service sucked. Total dive Chinese restaurant. Great if you are on a tight budget.

Tiffany P.

Yelp
Love this hidden gem in SF's Chinatown. Cheong fun is decently priced. Will have to come back to try the other dishes! I crave the bbq pork cheong fun ....ugh already drooling just thinking about it

Jasmine G.

Yelp
This place is the definition of cheap good eats! It is really good for the rice noodle and their iced lemon tea is really good! I paid a total of $7 for a plate of food and a whole drink! Definitely would come back!

Jocelyn W.

Yelp
I came here for dinner on a Tuesday. Did not have to wait. I saw the cheung fun here on social media and wanted to try it. But I wasn't able to, as I found out (written on the menu) they only have it until 5pm each day! :( We got the tomato and beef noodle soup, tung choi in spicy bean curd, sweet and sour pork, eggplant and tofu in clay pot. Overall all the dishes were very good except for the tomato and beef noodle soup which was underwhelming. Portions are very large. I really liked how everything was not too salty or greasy, unlike many other Chinese restaurants. Service was quick and decent. I really wish the plates were not all disposable though.. But overall I'm happy with my experience and I will come back for the cheung fun next time.

Sophia C.

Yelp
Only worth it because of the price! Shrimp flat rice noodle 7/10 - HUGE PORTION!! Such value!! - not sure what it is but the shrimp is practically flavorless compared to the typical cheung fun I've had - not really a WOW factor but still decent This place is definitely for the regulars. Service is definitely not good so if I were to come back I'd get it to go or something. The restaurant isn't exactly clean...it's probably cleaner to eat outside. Also after you're done eating, throw your trash away in the box they have by the door!!

Amy D.

Yelp
The Spicy Shrimp is located in the heart of Chinatown, and was full of locals so you know they're legit. They have large portions and super low prices, and seem to be one of the few restaurants that still has pre-inflation pricing! However, unless you speak Cantonese, I would highly recommend placing your order online (on QMenu) to avoid the language barrier and wait. If dining in, go early on the weekends since it was BUSY at 12:30pm on a Saturday. It was about a 20 minute wait for my order around that time, and there were a lot of people waiting for their orders. There isn't really an organized system for pick up, and you should be prepared to get their attention to find your order. Note: There is a $10 minimum for credit cards; otherwise, there is a $0.50 fee. Sadly, they were already out of chow fun by then, but I ended up trying: -Salt & Pepper Wings (6pc/$6.45): I believe they actually gave me the garlic wings, since there was a good amount of fried garlic in my box. The wings were very meaty, but also very dense, and I wished these were crispier- skip! -BBQ Pork Noodle Roll ($4.80, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=m9DqI2kv6LELt4lh9hS_KA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Solid rice noodle roll, especially for the price! The noodle rolls were well made, and good with their sweet soy sauce. The BBQ pork flavor was a bit bland, but it was fine with the rice noodles and soy sauce. However, I would definitely recommend getting the BBQ Pork Noodle Roll with Eggs instead, since this seemed to be what everyone else was ordering. -Beef Stew Wonton Noodle Soup ($7.75, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=f2or2SbYYmcJt8uJ_ZKTXw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Yum- so good! I was bummed about not getting my chow fun, but this was actually a great alternative. They included 5 wontons, which were solid, and the beef stew pieces were super tender. They didn't skimp on the beef stew, and I loved that there were some good tendon-y pieces. Their staff were running around the entire time, and it definitely seemed very stressful during the lunch rush. Both indoor and outdoor seating options were available (they had a covered parklet), and they had hand sanitizer. Parking will be another difficult part about coming here since there are not many options for street parking; lots are available but hourly fees can be pricey.

Judy L.

Yelp
Their rice rolllssssss!! DROOLS!!! I always get the shrimp rice rolls and the bbq pork rice rolls. Eggs is a nice add on but for $2 is not worth

Karen T.

Yelp
Omg cheap and delicious! I'm just bummed the rice noodle rolls are only sold until 5pm or I would go for dinner after work. The calamari was flavorful and crispy and those rice noodle rolls was what I came for, they did not disappoint. All was only $17 with tip tax

LeeLee C.

Yelp
Although they advertise their rice noodle roll as handmade, we found their wonton noodle soup to be better! The soup has wonton, the thin wonton noodle, beef flank and veggie. The beef flank is full of flavor though can be softer. It's also a good portion. Came on Saturday lunch time and this place is packed! On top of that there're quite some take out orders as they are running the promotion of order $100 and get 2 free drinks. So be prepared to wait even for a walk in order of take out. The Yelp check in for a free soda is not valid.

Yelp
The rice noodles here are pretty well known and they give a pretty big portion. However, a lot of people have to share tables with other people, so the seating isn't as comfortable.

Yelp
I ordered chicken and green beans over rice for takeout lunch during APEC week. I waited about 5 minutes (quiet week in Chinatown). It was a nice size serving, good flavor with a little black bean, saucy was light and not too salty. It's a 2 minute walk to the Chinatown Muni station, where you can sit outside on the rooftop

Yelp
They make Good rice rolls but ....I don't think everything in the menu is impressive. As for service it's a typical hole in wall chinese spot, if you take too long to order or are indecisive for more than a second they will be annoyed.

Yelp
I love this place. Went when it was viral on Instagram for shrimp rolls. I love the Hong kong milk tea cold. As well as their Hong kong chow me in with beef. They have a bathroom, take card and are next to the muni train. Look at hours before going they are closed at times

Yelp
We tripped in to this spot and man, am I happy we did! There were a lot of full tables and the place was super loud with kids. I don't speak Chinese so I am hoping they weren't complaining about me in their spot. Food was really good. There was some language barrier ordering but the waitress was SURE to keep telling me "no" when I kept trying to order the Pickled Mustard with Pork Tri-Tip. Turns out the translation should have been "Pickled Mustard Greens with Pork Tripe." Good save my little friend, good save. Wife ordered the Chicken with veggies over hard noodles. Exceptionally good with the freshest of fresh veggies. The baby Bok Choy was a nice touch and since my wife doesn't eat a ton of protein, I got to bat clean up on the chicken. She also ordered egg rolls and that's what they were. Nothing crazy special. I went with the Lemon Pepper Chicken and it was good. It felt like a sweet and sour sauce with lemon juiced added to it but it was tasty and full of goodness. We all had the pork buns and they were a "win" at the table for sure. Even the pickiest of my picky kid loved them. Ate his, 1/2 of mine and 1/2 of my wife's. About the only thing we had that was a "meh" was the Salt and Pepper Calamari. Way too salty and a bit over the top on fishy flavor.

Yelp
The rice noodle rolls are huge and delicious, and at a great price! They're very fresh too

Yelp
Never go here, hair in the food and bad service attitude. When I go in there's no one come up and ask what you want, no menu, and I ask for the menu the cashier ignores me. I need to get the menu by myself and when I pay for the check they just ignore and I wait 10 mins for change.

Yelp
if there is zero star, I would give zero star. Food is good but service is horrible. I don't expect they would provide good service but they just dont care about customers at all. We were clarifying the order with the girl who takes our order, she rolls her eyes and tells us not to confuse her when she is writing down the orders. Wow. Throughout our stay, I saw that she has zero smile and all she does is looking at the mirror and fixing her hair. Worst experience ever. Not coming back again for sure.
