I recently stayed at a the Spires Serviced apartments in Glasgow and had an excellent experience. The apartment featured two spacious bedrooms and two pristine bathrooms, offering plenty of comfort and convenience. The fully equipped kitchen was a standout, with all the appliances and utensils needed to prepare meals with ease.
The living area was cozy, with comfortable couches perfect for relaxing after a day out. Everything in the apartment was clean, modern, and fully functional, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
I was very happy with my stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained place in Glasgow!

A great place to stay. Very close to virtually everything in Glasgow city centre.
We had a lovely 2 bed apartment. Everything that you would need for a short stay was included.
The bed was a 10/10 and very comfortable and had great sleep.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
We will return in the near future.

The apartment was clean and a good size. We were 3 women so they set up a z bed in lounge meaning we got our own space which was good. 2 bathrooms is great for 3 of us. |However, the apartment smelt of cigarettes, particularly the bathroom. The extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work, one wardrobe the sliding doors didn’t open, one window couldn’t open and the hall radiator leaked. Also the kitchen smoke alarm had been disabled (apparently they’ve had problems with them going off and everyone getting evacuated). Apparently this is legal as the smoke alarm in open lounge is suffice/legal. Hmmm possibly legal but not ideal. |So it overall our stay was ok but I’ve stayed in better equipped serviced apartments.

The Spires Apartments are neat, well kept and using the service is a seamless experience.
Front desk availablity is not 24/7 but telephone support is for any issues.
The location doesn't seem nice at first with the adjoining homeless support centre next door but actually the clients there are no trouble at all, considerate, helpful - just no house of their own.
The apartments are spacious, well served with kitchen equipment and the mattresses are very comfortable.
I heartily recommend this place for short stays in Glasgow.

We stayed at the Spires for 6 nights. It is a brilliant location. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. The self check in process was very easy and we were into our apartment in no time. Well withing walking distance of Central and Queen Street rail stations. Close to many restaurants and bars, especially in the Merchant City. I would definitely chose Spires again.

First impressions were ok. The apartment is well-located with most locations of interest within walkable distance. However, the longer we were in the apartment, an accumulation of maintenance defects became apparent. Of greatest concern was an incident where members of my family were trapped in the lift and unable to get a response from the lift alarm. The fire brigade had to be called to get them out. Despite the attempts of a very helpful on-site staff member it was not possible to contact the management company.|After this incident, the lift alarm continued to sound all night, no doubt leading to a disturbed night’s sleep for many residents.

Initially when you see the apartment, it isn't too bad but when you actually experience the stay, you change your mind. The apartment might have been ok back in the day but like everything else, you have to take care of it. The couches were really shabby and were not comfortable, the apartment was drab, the rug was old, really shabby you could feel the dirt under your feet, it needed dumped to be honest. The bathroom seemed clean but went to take a bath, couldn't get the plug to stay in, so unscrewed it to discover toilet toll and a huge amount of someone else's hair, made me feel physically sick. Reported it at reception on departure and the girl didnt seem to take note, just said sorry about that and we left. Would I stay there again, definitely not!

Large apartment in central Glasgow but a little awkward layout.|The kitchen and living room area is large and nice furnished, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need including a washer/dryer combination. Unused by me but it was there. The bedroom though is very small, no room to open a medium size luggage.|There are so may doors to go through, a main one from the main hallway into a Mai hall, then another one into the apartament in another hall, then 4 or 5 doors. I is the kitchen /living, one is the bedoorm and another 3 doors. Something that N Americans are not used with. You actually have to go through 2 doors to get from bedroom into the living room. ||Shower is heated by a local heater. Temperature wise is fine, not the same for volume, I guess the heater cannot handle lerge volume of water and for that reason they restricted to minimum. No not water pressure or volume.|The apartament windows, especially the one in the bedroom needs some updating, it doesn't close properly, lots of noise overnight, it is on a busy street.|Also the bedroom is cold comparing to the other rooms. The l thermostat, on the hallway, showed 24 where in the bedroom was only 15. I bumped it up to 25 but that didn't do anything to the temperature in the bedroom.|Oh well, I was only there for a night.||Location can't be better, parking across the street, you are in the middle of everything, shops, restaurants, grocery stores.|People are great and very friendly.||
