We were staying in Glasgow as we had an event to attend at the OVO Hydro Arena. Uber was £8ish and we walked home which was about a 35min walk.||||We normally stay at Motel One when we visit Glasgow but since we are both on meal plans, we decided that maybe we should stay somewhere self-catering so we can make our own food. It turned out that this accommodation was cheaper than where we normally stay so that was good. ||||I didn’t get the payment link within the seven days like the confirmation email said but that was remedied with a quick call to request it by email and then we quickly got our instructions on how to enter the building, checking in instructions and of course, the all important NCP parking code that gives you a discount parking rate for parking on Glassford Road. We entered about 4pm on the Saturday and left about 10am on the Sunday and it came to £7.95 just to give you an indication of the price - not bad I thought. ||||The apartment itself was nice, well equipped but we forgot to bring cooking spray. Luckily there’s lots of little shops nearby. It was probably too big for the two of us, but great having an en-suite bathroom as well as a main bathroom. The lounge overlooked Glassford Road and as you can imagine was quite noisy on a Saturday night but the bedrooms were to the back and you couldn’t really hear a lot of street noise. Maybe muffled dance music but it wasn’t anything that kept us awake. ||||We were sad that we were only here for one night as the apartment was well equipped to accommodate longer stays and was comfortable enough to be a home away from home. We would definitely come back again on our next trip to Glasgow.
