I stayed at The Spires Serviced Apartments, which was conveniently located for parking and just a two-minute walk from the gig venue at Slay.
I was in a two-bedroom apartment (3F3). Upon entering, I noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The windows were left open, likely to air out the odor.
The apartment was very spacious, featuring a large lounge area, two bedrooms (one with an ensuite), and a second bathroom. However, the floorboards were extremely creaky, as were the bedroom doors, making movement around the apartment quite noisy.
Additionally, there is a homeless charity organization that distributes food from 7 PM until the early hours of the morning directly beneath the apartments. This means you'll have to navigate through crowds of homeless individuals when entering and leaving the building at night, as they tend to linger throughout the evening. On my return to the apartment at 10 PM, I encountered a large group arguing and fighting near the entrance, and later at 1 AM, the police arrived due to another altercation, complete with sirens.
