Great location for getting out and around Glasgow. The apartments customer service offers great communication regarding out of hours entry. The apartments are well appointed, I've probably stayed in about half of them now 😄. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Living space is well appointed and again bags if space. Just a out everything u need in the kitchen to self catering, I've never wanted for anything or been missing anything. For locale M&S is a two minute walk away, meaning great food for self catering on your doorstep. For the more adventurous there is lots of eateries within Merchant City that are top notch, and wider across rest of city. In all makes my stay for business, stress free and well catered for affording me the flexibility I need when working in Glasgow. Great location for all tra sport links and a deal with local car parking provider which is just over the road. Highly recommended. Negative. There is a homeless shelter next door which does out people off, but they have never been an issue to me nor caused me any bother or dosturbance.

Only staying one night, central to everything you need. Alot of reviews mention the homeless shelter next door as a negative but it hasn't impacted my stay at all, at least I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford food and a holiday. The apartment however has faulty heating, think only one radiator works in the whole apartment. Main bathroom bath tap doesn't work at all and the shower tap just came off in my hand and only hot water worked so basically unusable unless you want third degree burns, we all had to share the one on suite shower. Rooms were clean, beds are comfortable, just a bit cold as the only heat came from the living room, had to just leave the bedroom doors open.

We were staying in Glasgow as we had an event to attend at the OVO Hydro Arena. Uber was £8ish and we walked home which was about a 35min walk.||||We normally stay at Motel One when we visit Glasgow but since we are both on meal plans, we decided that maybe we should stay somewhere self-catering so we can make our own food. It turned out that this accommodation was cheaper than where we normally stay so that was good. ||||I didn’t get the payment link within the seven days like the confirmation email said but that was remedied with a quick call to request it by email and then we quickly got our instructions on how to enter the building, checking in instructions and of course, the all important NCP parking code that gives you a discount parking rate for parking on Glassford Road. We entered about 4pm on the Saturday and left about 10am on the Sunday and it came to £7.95 just to give you an indication of the price - not bad I thought. ||||The apartment itself was nice, well equipped but we forgot to bring cooking spray. Luckily there’s lots of little shops nearby. It was probably too big for the two of us, but great having an en-suite bathroom as well as a main bathroom. The lounge overlooked Glassford Road and as you can imagine was quite noisy on a Saturday night but the bedrooms were to the back and you couldn’t really hear a lot of street noise. Maybe muffled dance music but it wasn’t anything that kept us awake. ||||We were sad that we were only here for one night as the apartment was well equipped to accommodate longer stays and was comfortable enough to be a home away from home. We would definitely come back again on our next trip to Glasgow.

Great sized apartments, especially for the price. Location is great. And the "duty manager" on our first night was spectacular - having to deal with a serious fire next door, a building evacuation, and then all of the guests just wanting to be allowed by the police to go to bed. Not great for us, worse for her (nothing she did wrong) but handled as good as it could have been

The location was great although the building itself is next door to a homeless soup kitchen which felt a little uncomfortable at night time. It’s very noisy at night but nothing you wouldn’t expect given its location and the bedrooms were at the back so not really a problem for sleeping. ||The apartment was a good size but tired and in need of an upgrade. It felt more like a student flat - cheap laminate floor, all doors were fire doors and kept closed at all times, bashes on the walls, dirty cup in the cupboard and no signal on the TV due to the aerial cable being broken. The living room light also had a 4000 mega watt bright white bulb in it that you could see from space! Not very welcoming. We actually took two bedside lamps and plugged them into the living room to give a more ambient light. ||The apartment was clean though and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom and en suite looked like they were recently installed and looked great. ||Gaining entry to the building is tricky too. There’s no buzzer even during business hours. They send you a code by email but it goes into your junk and you don’t know it ever arrived. We had to phone the number on the door to gain access. ||The staff were friendly though and allowed us to leave our luggage the following morning while we went for brunch. ||Overall it’s generally a bit grott but comfortable enough if your standards aren’t too high.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at this apartment! The service was outstanding from start to finish—smooth check-in and very helpful communication. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. I would definitely book again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

We stayed here last night with friends as we were going to an event in the city center which was a 10 minute walk, The apartment we had was on the 2nd floor and had 2 bedrooms( 1 ensuite) with a small balcony, another separate bathroom then open plan kitchen livingroom. We arrived and the gentleman on reception was so lovely and when we asked if we would be able to get a later check out and it wasn't a problem we paid a bit extra but was good not having to rush to get ready to leave as we had a 3 hour drive back home. Place was spotless and modern decor, bedrooms were at back of the property which was great and quiet as the front of the building you have all the noise from the street. Would definitely stay here again

Spires Glasgow is a great central location. Close to trains, buses, and taxis in the heart of the Merchant city with excellent shopping, restaurants and bars. Apartment was clean and secure. Our Bedrooms were at the rear of buiding so were very quiet. Some minor details such as some minor wear in the flooring, and could use some fresh paint in areas. Otherwise everything was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They immediately responded to any of our requests for the duration if our ten day stay. We will certainly consider Spires on future visits to Scotland.
