Great place to swim if no storms. Unfortunately there was a storm when we went.

The Split is such an easy spot to find, and if we ever forget, we can just agree to meet here! Haha! The place is stunning with so much to do, swimming, jet skiing, eating, drinking, and more. We prefer to enjoy the fun during the day because it gets a bit too crowded in the evening. We’re glad we visited mostly before the weekend, it made the experience even better!

You can hangout and swim here for free without going to a bar/restaurant (just in case). Beautiful vibes

Must visit place on Caye Caulker. Created by Hurricane Hatti in 1961 and partying ever since.

Fun tourist attraction with plenty of photo opportunities including a high dive into the water

Gently idled our way through the split as part of our tour with Reef Adventures. Not much to see initally outside of the patio of the Lazy Lizard, however as you travel down a bit further you can snorkel with the Manatees, feed the Tarpon and Pelican, and see a small protected Nursary for Sea Horses.

The Split is THE spot to hang out and party like it’s spring break all summer long. It can be a lot of fun and it's worth checking out at least once when you're on Caye Caulker. I'm not saying you shouldn't go there, but keep in mind, the food and drinks are priced a lot higher here than most of the island. My fiancé and I got a drink here, but we ate at other restaurants nearby for half the cost. There also weren't many people here when we were visiting. Maybe with more people it would be more fun. We ended up liking the bar next door a lot more because it's a similar vibe but fairly priced and locally owned. Regardless of food and beverage, The Split has its perks – music, a high platform to jump off of, and tables in the water. Great spot to people watch, and you’ll see a lot of boats pass through.

Beautiful but busy with boats going in and out. Not much shade. Most Belizeans just go there for the day to drink at the Lazy Lizard then go home. If drinking is your thing then you will have a god time. Good spot for a photo.
