This was just what I needed. My husband and I celebrated my 58th birthday at the resort. This place is amazing! Everyone was so personable and professional! The staff -- Wayne, Alejandra, Mel, and Monica -- all were attentive and went above and beyond our expectations. The Journey to Remember Spa Treatment is an absolute must! The breakfast is simple and organically beautiful! This spa is truly a hidden gem! Until next time!

My husband and I had an amazing time at the resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional—every interaction felt genuine and welcoming. The grounds are beautifully maintained, peaceful, and full of charm. The hot springs are the absolute the best —relaxing, rejuvenating, and just what we needed.

My friend and I had an amazing time! Accommodations were perfect. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and pillows. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, infra red treatment, mineral pool, and a facial treatment which was fantastic! Highly recommend!

I've never left a bad review... ever... but for the cost of the stay, this place was a total rip off. Completely misrepresented online. We get there to check in and they were rude as hell at the front desk, and then put us in some side house Completely off hotel property. I'm guessing this is some kind of duplex they purchased as an extension of the hotel, but to get to the pool you have to walk through a neighborhood past an abandoned lot and a burnt down couch in the crazy wind in a bathing suit past the drunk neighbors partying and cat calling. There's a breakfast that they serve that they hype up that is actually just warm activa and stale bread. We got massages while we were there. My guy was awesome (older polish guy) but my friend who had a massage at the same time was being talked at and insulted by her massage lady the whole time. The final straw with this place and the reason for this review was that they double charged us for the massages 540 extra dollars that we had to argue with the front desk to refund AND also the bank to reverse charges. This place looks cool and the jacuzzi situation is nice, but it absolutely wasn't worth dropping over a grand to be sent down the street and treated rudely and finally overcharged.

Very relaxing, intimate, and well managed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having our own soaking tub. We will definitely go back.

Very nice property with three pools of hot mineral water available 24x7, palm trees, a fire pit, personal sun loungers, two saunas and a minimal breakfast. Some rooms have a kitchen. Quiet and well maintained. Many spa services available.

Pure BLISS! I stayed here for a quiet birthday getaway and it was amazing! The resort was beautifully maintained, the staff was super kind and accommodating, and it was topped off with a relaxing and rejuvenating massage. I highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place. So relaxing and tranquil. We recommend staying at least three nights…on the third day you really start to relax. The staff were lovely, too.

Yelp
Fabulous. My friend and I booked massages here last minute, and it was worth every penny. Facilities are great, Carlos is amazing- if you're looking for a relaxed, peaceful, tranquil space, definitely visit!

Yelp
I took my daughter here for a birthday massage / mineral spa and myself for the day use mineral spa. In my daughters opinion they should take off "relaxation massage" $150 should not even be considered as a service as it served no purpose , Did nothing for her you have to spend $175 to get a regular / real massage! They should take it off their website, completely , and offer what is considered a real massage which should be offered at $150 not $175. Also, there was a couple there that was sick coughing, which was unpleasant to be around, especially in the indoor spa people, please if you are not feeling well SAT HOME! , and two other couples talking nonstop in another spa , and another lady on her phone, listening / watching YouTube or something volume up ! Also two other men in the spa just having a conversation, not quietly just like it was nothing not caring about anybody else . And then the cleaning / workers were not whispering while they were either cleaning rooms or where there cleaning supplies are located nonstop talking . This is unfortunate as it is a very nice calming peaceful property. But people Do not abide by the rules and don't care about other people that are trying to have a peaceful retreat from every day noise and outside distractions! It's one thing to have limited conversation and speak with who you're with, but to do it nonstop and NOT in a Quiet tone ruins it for the all others . So just be warned of what's advertised is not what you may experience . I don't know how it might be on a different day or time . ( we were there on a Sunday afternoon ) The only way for you to know is to go and experience it for yourself maybe on another day and time it's a little bit more quiet.

Yelp
All of the front desk staff were amazing. Daniella and Ana were particularly awesome to schedule and tour with. Everything else just seemed underwhelming. I know I went on a day with few people, but they had gardeners spraying their plant feed, the wind blower going, and someone cleaning the waiting area where the massage therapists check in with their clients. It just seemed like they didn't really care about the folks that were there. My shoes were also too small and the only way I could even ask for help was going all the way to the lobby. Also the real reason this review is so low is because of my massage therapist Loana (I think that's how to spell her name). She was extremely rude and condescending to me for absolutely no reason. When I told her about my sensitive knees due to a dance injury, she said "a dancer? I never would've thought you were a dancer". There is no need to comment on someone's hobbies especially in what seemed like a condescending tone, no less. Also I had put a credit card down and when I went to check out and leave a tip, she said "oh the tip has been taken care of. We just charged $40". I didn't appreciate that because I didn't consent to that amount. That seemed shady to me. Anyway, despite the front desk staff, I won't be coming back.

Yelp
The Spring Resort & Spa is a beautiful peaceful oasis in the middle of the desert. We went there to spend my birthday and it was a really different one. The spa has an almost silent policy, that is somehow enforced, phones should be in vibration and conversations on speaker are a no-no. Which is nice to relax in their wonderful water, full of good stuff. The rooms are nice, but they could use some renovation, specifically the bathrooms. The staff is really nice and helpful, even though the place seems to be shortstaffed at times everyone is really attentive. They don't have a restaurant but they prepare awesome cheese platters, and serve a decent cold breakfast (breads, hard boiled eggs, coffee, oatmeal...). We ordered a cheese Platter and was very satisfying. The pools, the Sauna and the common facilities in general are pristine. On a negative note one of the saunas was out of commission. The treatments are a bit pricey but very nice, the one I got made me feel all relaxed and pampered. Overall, The Spring is a great place to forget about stress and enjoy life

Yelp
Very very beautiful place! The grounds are impeccable, the landscaping so pretty I and loved the pools and saunas. The breakfast was great too! The front desk staff were amazing! Super friendly and efficient. I stayed 3 nights. The room itself, I had no. 6 was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The door was hard to lock and unlock, the blinds were old and hard to maneuver, the shower was stuck on a thin stream position and I could hear lots of noise from the rooms on each side of me. There was a woman snoring loudly on one side and I could hear kitchen noises from the other. The owner happened to be there and said they are looking into insulation. I moved my room to No. 2 and it was much better. I didn't have any treatments but the other guests I met loved their massages and facials and said they were exceptional. I would definitely stay there again, but not in room No. 6.

Leslie M.

Yelp
Honestly, the place is seriously run down. Needs a lot of work, the pools aren't the cleanest. I will say the front desk attendant was nice (the original one) but to be honest putting a bottle of alcohol without speaking to a person can run so many risks. 1. I don't drink. 2. You might have provided alcohol to a minor. But the worst part is they charge you $200 "holding" fee. And claim it "falls off" or so one front desk employee claim. Yet the other two I spoke to including her previous to this said I'd get my money back within a couple of days. It's now over a week and my money still hasn't been returned. Definitely contacting the BBB over this, their explanation doesn't make the least bit of sense when you're literally looking at the money gone from your account and their charges sitting there. They also charged my account an incorrect amount which is on them charging $105 for the massage then days later changed it to the correct amount. It's on them if their employees don't know how to operate properly. Bottom line return the money removed. Their massage team is amazing though too bad I couldn't get access to them directly. Would never come here again.

Yelp
CHECKIN & SERVICE Great mobile checkin experience with support for electronic payment methods & we got to checkin early. The staff are also very professional, personable, & kind. Room (w/kitchen) The arrangement of the room feels very stylish & the stone floor + entryway curtains create a nice aesthetic. Lots of natural light from the front & backsides so the sparseness of lamps works. Hearing music from the record player as we entered the room + the welcome gift on the pillow was also a very nice touch. Cleaning standards were good. Despite the great ambience, the room has certainly seen better days & could use a new coat of paint (cracks & chipping). The remote controlled AC unit performed really poorly so it was uncomfortable staying in the room for long periods of time, and that was with the overhead fan running constantly (beautiful wood design FWIW). Not particularly spacious for two homebodies & very little storage space. Too few outlets if you're here on workcation. BED Clean, soft, cozy bedding & perfect firmness as far as the mattress goes. The pillows are undersized and on the lighter side. The base wasn't particularly sturdy & the headboard was unexpectedly itchy + rough, but tolerable. BATH A bit of room for improvement...: Rusty, low cleaning standards, & the tub was heavily chipped/damaged. Despite the underwhelming fixtures & cramped space, the toiletries were great-- my favorite travel brand: Lather, all natural-- the water pressure was strong, & the towels were clean, soft, & hefty. I also enjoyed the texture of the bathrobe & sandals. WI-FI Encrypted Wi-Fi was a pleasant surprise with great speeds for streaming. Not great for large video conferencing streams. Nerd stats: 196-228 Mbps Down 19-23 Mbps Up 0% Packet loss 22ms latency 3ms jitter Performance: Video streaming - Good Online Gaming - Average FOOD DoorDash/UberEats friendly. Functional kitchenette equipped with an oven, stove, full size microwave, large mini fridge & espresso maker. There is a $25 fee for excessive dirtiness; this is the first time I've seen such a policy in Palm Springs or Desert Springs & feels a bit disingenuous, but I'm sure there was a reason for it (?). Free breakfast (primarily fruit & breads) is served in the mornings. NOISE The (unaware) guests can really break the immersion despite the "whisper volume" policy, which isn't consistently enforced; phone calls on speaker phone, video calls without headphones, loud conversations in the jacuzzi. This made it hard to enjoy the amenities during the night hours, but the noise level was much better & steady during the day. Random & infrequent pet noises from the neighborhood can also be disruptive, but it's otherwise a quiet & peaceful space majority of the time. AMENITIES The sauna, heated pools, & massage services are the highlight of this property & we found them mostly satisfactory. The mineral water pools were clean, Accessible, and less than 10 steps from the room. The sauna is also open 24/7! My partner LOVED her CBD massage, the masseur was very observant, professional, and attentive-- "money well spent". I had the opposite experience unfortunately...: the pressure wasn't where it needed to be for a Deep Tissue massage & my masseur was texting/responding to (very audible) notifications throughout the session. This was also my first time encountering a massage professional with such coarse & rough personal skin care (hands). Lots of room for improvement & not a service worth $225 + tip. (Any staff reading this: please help me with processing a refund). VERDICT The company of guests during your stay really make or break the experience. The rooms could also use a bit of a maintenance/reno, but it was a pleasant experience overall. I'd recommend checking in sometime off-peak for maximum enjoyment. 3/5 Room walkthrough: https://youtube.com/shorts/UaWfrNx692E?feature=shared

Yelp
I come to the desert often, and when really want to experience a desert spa, I visit The Spring. I've been coming here for about 20 years. This time, I got a massage from RENÉ. And in the spirit of the 2024 Olympics, if massage was in Olympic sport, he would get a gold medal!!! 10/10, 5 . MEL was extremely helpful and kind, thanks for recommending RENÉ! Can't wait for the sound bath experience!

Yelp
Pros: Kind and organized staff with a great vibe, clean rooms, clean property, infrared sauna, robes, quiet and a great little kitchen. Cons: For $300/night I expected more. Heater did not work the first night because the batteries in both remotes were dead. Once it was brought to their attention they fixed it quickly! Unfortunately by the time I figured out the heater wasn't working it was late and I had to sleep in extra layers of clothing! Hot pools were not warm enough (in the 90s) and we had to pay money to go somewhere else and soak (Sam's). Bathrooms are tiny and old (think chipped toilet seats). Zero space for stuff in bathroom with only a tiny glass shelf above the sink that is so angled that everything falls into the sink. Paint needs refreshing. I personally did not like the perfume smell of the linens, but most people would not care about that. If you're sensitive to scents, be aware. Furnishings were fine. My friends stayed in the villas and they were nice! If you're a group, definitely go with those! They're a bit more modern. They're about a half block walk off the property. I would stay there again but I'd definitely look elsewhere for something a bit nicer for the money.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this spa! Brought my mom here for Mother's Day and she couldn't have been happier. They give you the option to enjoy the spa services without booking a treatment or you can book a treatment which also comes with access to the spa services. The spa services includes the saunas, outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi, and pool. We were able to enjoy any of these for an hour before our massage and then an hour after. We each had the Swedish massage and we each thought our masseuse did an amazing job. We left feeling so relaxed and refreshed!

Yelp
Had a great time. The Spring has the best staff, so appreciative of that. The room for the price is little high, in my opinion, because of small things they could fix. There's nothing awful, just know it's small with a tiny bathroom(shower/tub). What I do like about this room is that only one side do you have a neighbor, the other side is a closet. Everything in kitchen worked, great for cooking, teapot or whatever. Room 3 has great wooden blinds in kitchen, but missing the piece that turns them. The blackout curtains are they are on this thin wire with clips you just kind of push them. They get caught in door every time because they are not on a proper bar. So, the blackout part isn't fully effective. I dont want sun hitting my room in the morning and you don't have an option of full blackout. The bathroom door didn't really close, you had to slam it, I couldn't even do it so I left it. The toilet paper was the worst quality, when you're drinking that amazing water all day...enough said. The indoor sauna was broken, if that's important to you, I would ask if they fixed it. Great treatment area. Love how it smelled. Theres apples and spa water, towels avail and accessible regardless if you have an appt. It's really convenient. I wish there were instructions on infrared sauna, enjoyed it but was guessing on temps. I asked the girl who showed us around and she just said it's self explanatory, not if you don't know how long or temp to use. Almost everything is open 24/7 which is awesome. The vibe is fantastic. I just like it there, just wish the things were fixed. They charge a hotel tax or something so ask what total room per day w tax is. That added extra, I wasn't expecting. I stayed at another place in DHS and pulled up my bill, no extra tax. The other guests were chill. This isn't a party spot. It's very relaxing. Breakfast had those thin breads, sunflower, rye and pumpernickel (there's a toaster) butter and jam. Fresh fruit was great, pineapple, grapes, and melons. Granola and Raisin Bran cereal, both reg milk and almond milk. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt. Salt/pepper dishes and everything in the lounge set up for you. Also in the lounge, I was in here a lot, the ice/water machine so you can fill up your pitcher 24/7, if you're a big water drinker being your own bottle as well so you can cruise around with it. No problem with wifi, used all our devices fine. No extra charge for that. There's no tv so you can totally unplug if you want. And no talking on cell phones you can talk in your room. The drinking water and healing waters to soak are so helpful, when you want relaxation or other health issues.

Yelp
I just recovered from an awful week with Covid that ruined my birthday and left me achey and sore. A friend of mine recommended the spa at the Spring and I am so glad she did. What a hidden treasure! There were no noisy kids or drunken bachelorettes. Just a pretty little boutique hotel with beautiful grounds, a sparkling pool, 2 hot tubs, sauna, infrared, and a gorgeous garden. I got a 50 minute signature massage with Rene, whose hands worked wonders on my aching muscles. His pressure was just right and I left there feeling like a new person! Happy birthday to me!

Yelp
Came here to get away for some R&R and some healthy dips in their mineral water Jacuzzis. Just a few months ago, we had visited Dessert Hot Springs for the first time and stayed at another spa resort, and were quite pleased with the accommodation, except that it was a much larger hotel style resort, with more people (no kids), more occupied pools and hot tub Jacuzzis for guests, etc. The Spring Resort & Spa was quite different, and we all enjoyed it very much. There are only 9 rooms, fewer guests (again, no kids), a wonderful little landscaped garden where the pool and hot tub jacuzzies are located. ...most of the rooms are focused on the garden....was very nice to wake up to and with easy access to facilities just steps away. It also feels different here as in, it's like you're staying at your friend's fully equipped guest room/house overlooking a nice garden. It's quiet (except for the chirping birds), private, and felt very safe. There were four of us, so we stayed at both the larger end rooms with private outdoor patio tubs and kitchens...(rooms #1 and #9). For what we had planned to do here, these rooms were almost perfect. The rooms are a bit small with no TVs, but very clean and comfortable, so we slept like a baby. The kitchen was well equipped with a stove top, microwave, kettle, fridge, cooking pans and utensils, coffee/tea brewing mug, paper towels, a brand-new sponge/scoring pad, dishwashing liquid, etc. We used the kitchen for our morning cooked breakfasts on top of a nice selection of healthy breakfast items available at the lounge....again, just a short walk from any of the rooms. There were healthy breads, almond and regular milk, juice, cereals, coffee/tea, plates, bowls, and utensils. You can either sit in the lounge to enjoy your breakfast while reading the newspapers provided, or take it back to the room to enjoy your first meal of the day in the room or one of the two-seater tables right outside the room....or on one of the deck chair just outside the room too. Everybody from the time of check in, to the day we checked out, were totally nice, friendly, and helpful. Just after we checked in, we were taken on a tour to the rooms to have everything explained to us...particularly, how to work the private outdoor hot tubs. Then, we were given a tour of the onsite facilities .....very useful to know everything before settling in. Overall, we had a very pleasant 2-night stay here. The only issues we had were firstly, that our private hot tubs were supposed to dispense HOT mineral water straight from the ground, but it was only lukewarm...so we decided to pass on them and headed straight out to the garden and enjoyed the outdoor garden hot tub jacuzzi instead!.... water at 104 degrees F, powerful jets, and open 24hrs ...we ended up enjoying it 2 or 3 times a day!....along with a dip in the heated pool. This was not a big deal for us except that we had paid a premium rate for these private hot tubs. Secondly, our other issue about the premises would be that the place needs some improvement in its maintenance upkeep..... unsightly cracks in the bathroom tiles/grout, broken or missing parts from a wobbly toilet seat, broken bug nets in the window so flies would get in if the window was open, etc. We noticed during our stay that the pool and tubs were cleaned regularly by a maintenance guy....that was a good thing to see. Despite the issues we encountered, at least we now know what to expect when we go back to visit again.....and yes, we would definitely come back here in the future. We just loved the privacy, quiet, and uncrowded aspects of this spa resort.

Yelp
The Miracle Hill area of Desert Hot Springs (aka the Spa Zone) features quite a few resorts and spas with mineral water pools. I've been to three of them. The Spring is by far the best by every metric, a class of its own, an utterly soothing and refreshing experience that is worth every penny. I've visited the Spring several times over the years both for day use of the spa and as a guest at the hotel. Impeccable is the only word to describe my experience. WATER: The water of Desert Hot Springs is famous all over the world and for good reason. It is soft as silk, buoyant, soothing and calming. I'm no chemist but when I asked a staff person what makes the water so special, he gave me a list of the mineral content including sulfate, sodium, bicarbonate, chloride, calcium, silica, fluoride and magnesium. Whatever the formula, it's magical. So magical, in fact, that the water of Desert Hot Springs was recently named the Best Water in the World at the 30th Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting. POOLS: The pools are kept in absolutely perfect condition. And they are open 24/7 for hotel guests. Squeaky clean, the temperatures, chlorine level and cleanliness are monitored constantly. The swimming pool offers plenty of room for laps; there's also an outdoor jacuzzi and relaxation pool. More here: https://the-spring.com/about/mineral-springs/ SERVICE: Everyone at the Spring was helpful, courteous and thoughtful. An amazing balance of attention to detail with complete lack of stuffiness. HOTEL ROOMS: I stayed in the Mountain Suite which includes a kitchenette, patio, its own private entrance and parking spot, and stunning mountain views. Tons of thirsty towels, super clean, and beautifully decorated, I wanted to move in and was already planning what to say to the Sheriff when he came to evict me when I refused to leave. (Reality bites. I left of my own accord, much more relaxed.) Amenities include Spring robe and slippers, hair dryer, and toiletries. BREAKFAST: Included in your hotel stay, a breakfast of safely prepared foods are available daily from 8-10 am. I was served fruit, hard-boiled free-range eggs, yogurt, pumpernickle bread with cream cheese and jam, oatmeal and granola. Almond milk available, as well as coffee and tea. PANDEMIC SAFETY: Masks and social distancing were maintained, hand sanitizer was available and all safety protocols honored. Because The Spring is a small, boutique hotel, there is not a chance of running into big crowds. The clientele here tend to be the type that value solitude, so chances of running into overly chatty folks are slim to none. SPIRITUAL RENEWAL: Words cannot describe the effect of staying at the Spring. Was it watching the Moon and Mars rise in tandem from the jacuzzi? The mineral balance restored in my body? The effects of peace and quiet on my soul? All I know is that the stress of the past year had taken its toll and the Spring helped restore my peace of mind. Thank you.

Yelp
This is a hidden little oasis out in the desert. My wife and I came here for some R&R arriving as grumpy, lumpy, rock people and left happy jelly people. If that makes sense. The massage staff was excellent. Sometimes I have to beg a massage therapist to apply more pressure, they are trying to be respectful and whatnot, I get it, but when I say dig for gold I mean leave me bruised and limping. While I was not bruised or limping, my therapist took my wishes to heart and really worked out my problem areas, I couldn't have been happier. The hot springs were cool, though I was expecting them to be hotter and stinkier. The stinky part was good, and the hot part was a safety concern because otherwise they'd boil their customers like lobster and I'm assuming that's bad for business. It was still an enjoyable soak though! We ordered a fruit plate expecting a little tray of grapes or something but they really gave us a PLATE of fruits, nuts, some cheese, it was delectable. I highly recommend this place if you need an escape from your stresses. You'll turn into a happy jelly person like we did.

Yelp
UPDATE on my experience. We left a stuffed animal behind. Called the resort and the housekeeping staff found it. They took our mailing address and told us they'd mail it, but it'd been about 10 days and it's still not here. We weren't given any tracking info or any word as to when and if it was ever shipped out. Wow.

Yelp
First time here and it was incredible! Their breakfast could use some revamping it included, toast, hard boiled eggs, coffee, orange juice, almond milk, cereal, fruit and additional basics. I don't know why I was expecting more for their breakfast. However, the ambience was calming, quiet, and friendly..definitely what I was looking for. It wasn't a far drive from downtown Palm Springs (approx. 25 mins). The sauna was nice and the pools were soothing. My favorite was the indoor pool super quiet setting and very warm I think it was 101 degrees. I am bummed they didn't have the sound baths. Also, every time I wanted to get some lemon water near the sauna it was gone. All in all it was incredible since I mainly stayed to relax and it definitely did that. Thank you for a nice stay.

Yelp
If you approach from one side of Reposo Way (coming from Desert View Ave) the place doesn't look like much, but drive in from Eliseo Rd especially in the evening and it starts to take the appearance of a real resort. We spent a few nights here in Room #1, which seems to be a few hundred square feet with its own cafe kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, gas stove with oven, coffee maker, tea kettle and all cooking and serving utensils) as part of their Spring spa package which included two massages and two treatments. Room #1 includes a private courtyard with two person stone mineral bath. Only three rooms (of the total of it looks like 12 rooms) here have a private courtyard with private mineral bath. Water temp in our bath we were told is around 104 degrees, although it feels invitingly warmer. The room vibe with its earth tones is very relaxing ("Zen" is the word used by the resort to describe it, but in this case it really applies it's not just an overused adjective here). No TV, yes free WiFi, yes a radio/CD music player in Room #1 (no bluetooth connection but an old style 30 pin plug for an iPod). I preferred the atmosphere with the curtains open and since there are shades that pull down around the courtyard you may enjoy privacy in the room with the windows open. The walls in the rooms are pretty thin. The first night we had no neighbor. The second we had one, and could hear them conversing next door. That is a definite negative. Also, the refrigerator in our room should be replaced - it works fine but buzzes during its entire on cycle. Not a loud buzz, but definitely noticeable in a Zen meditative setting. Our trip was during the week and just after a rainstorm so we were able to enjoy the three mineral pools (larger one kept at 88 degrees, indoor medium pool at 104 and outdoor jacuzzi sized at 108) and wet sauna without too many others around. The pools and sauna are open 24 hours and included with your hotel stay, or with any day spa pass. The sauna doesn't get very hot, at least not for a true sauna aficionado like me who has been taking extreme saunas and steams since I was a teenager. I wasn't able to get it much above 160 degrees, although supposedly it will get up to 200. Just keep dribbling water on the rocks (they advised us that pouring too much water at once will shut the unit off) and splashing ice water on the thermostat in the corner, and you might get to 180. When we were here the light in the sauna was annoyingly flickering, and I turned the light off entirely. There is an infrared sauna available as a $1 per minute treatment. Hope it heats up faster than the free sauna! The spa itself with many different styles of massages and treatments is open until 7:30pm in the winter. Carlos is recommended as a good masseuse. Our use of the spa as noted was free with the stay, but of course day passes are available too. Mornings continental breakfast until 10:30am. Hard boiled eggs, sliced fruit, yogurt, orange juice, cereal, oatmeal, tea, coffee. These are served in the "Living Room" which I believe is available for lounging 24 hours. Room service is on the light and healthful side - fruit, smoothies and cheese plates. (Also wine.) Daily maid service. Very friendly efficient hotel and spa staff. In all a great getaway and retreat. Both relaxing and energizing as long as the neighbors and spa goers keep the noise down.

Yelp
My siblings and I have been sending our snowbird parents to The Spring for years. We are sad to share that we could hear the new manager profanely bad mouthing other resort guests while we were in the front waiting area. It was quite uncomfortable to be greeted by her overall unhealthiness. We could easily give this place 5 stars for the spa therapists, minus Tammy, a real weirdo who seemed genuinely high as a kite while staring out into space and reeking of marijauna upon initial consult before bleh massage. We are taking away a star for low-class, unfriendly, unwelcoming manager. (Ask for Deana to avoid the manager if you can) Deana is a sweet young lady who endlessly, thoughtfully assisted our parents. We want to say we'll come back and send our parents and all of their snowbird friends back at least for a day pass to soak and receive treatments from the other incredible therapists, but I think we'll just go check out some of the other interesting looking nearby places next trip.

Yelp
Unbelievably fantastic, relaxing stay every time! I stayed here twice this year and would be going back for a 3rd time in November if the room I want wasn't sold out on the many days I checked. The dead sea mudd detox wrap is amazing and I highly recommend Ioanna (not sure if I spelled it right). She is so sweet and makes it easy to relax...even for a generally tightly wound person like myself.

Yelp
I spent 5 nights here for my honeymoon and we came out super rejuvenated. The pools are amazing and we definitely noticed a difference in how our skin feels really soft. Really helped out with my lower back and joint pain. The spa services (specifically the massages) left me feeing like jelly in the best way possible. If you stay here, definitely splurge and do the room with the private soak if you'd like some nice alone time with your significant other or even just for yourself. It's outside and blocked out from other guests but you can soak and cuddle while looking up at the stars if it's a cloudless night. Shout out to the staff who were helpful and kind

Yelp
I was looking for a quiet, peaceful place to relax & recharge... and boy did I find the perfect place. April & Daniella in the front office were extremely helpful & super nice. The room was very clean & cozy & the bed was super comfy. The room I was in had a little kitchen & they had all the little things you need but don't necessarily think about (salt & pepper, sugar, toaster etc.) The mineral pools were absolutely delightful especially at night under the amazing night sky filled with stars. I also had a chance to use the spa & was NOT disappointed. I had a facial, massage, & body treatment (over several days). I left feeling well taken care of & completely relaxed. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax then I would highly recommend staying here- I will definitely be going back!!!

Yelp
What an amazing spa and hotel in desert hot springs, we made a last minute reservation of a two bedroom villa, the check in cut off time was 9pm, glad we got there 15 minutes before that! The very friendly front desk guy gave us a tour of this spa facility. It has three mineral pools at different temperatures, steam and sauna room, basic amenities and beverages. The entire place opens 24 hours, so hotel guests can enjoy the spa anytime they want, just need to be very very quiet, like whisper all the time. We came here in the morning the next day, ordered a bottle of Prosecco with orange juice, I really enjoyed the three pools and a little bit of sun before it got too warm for me. Also the ground is so beautiful and relaxing, it's the perfect place to hang out for couples, and we did see many couples, it's definitely a great place for couples retreat! Our two bedroom villa is actually a newly remodeled unit of one big house down the street from the spa. It has a full kitchen and living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, also a big walk-in closet. The interior is very neat, modern and contemporary, I also liked the Lather amenities cause I get things from the store in Pasadena. The villa was extremely clean and cozy, it has a small yard with BBQ set up too. They prepared a huge pitcher of ice water in the fridge which was very thoughtful on a very hot day. They also offer room service and wine list at certain hours everyday. Just one issue was unfortunate, we didn't get late check out even though we checked in very late in the evening the previous day. But we did get to stay at the spa till 3 in the afternoon, still usually hotels offer late check out if guests check in very late the previous day. Minus that one issue, we absolutely loved our stay and spa time at this amazing place, I would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

Yelp
My husband and I first visited The Spring Resort & Spa about 5 years ago as day guests and absolutely loved it. It was so lovely that we decided to return for a massage. Best massage I've had in a long time! The grounds and hot springs are beautiful to relax in. Would 100% recommend.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere, people are very friendly. The only thing is some of the equipment was not working. This isn't a thing I usually do going to spas that is so I was really looking forward to the red light therapy but equipment was not working work for one day, then stopped working again. That's the only thing that I regretted. But customer service was awesome. The girls were great at the front desk. Enjoyed my stay.

Yelp
Perfect for relaxing. No TV, phone in the room. No kids are running around. Very different than other nearby hotels due to each of resort rooms facing to a nice green yard directly. Staffs were nice, helpful :) However, some areas definitely need to be repaired and can maintain better.

Yelp
The grounds at this resort are absolutely gorgeous, and the pools are perfect. However, we stayed in one of the villas which we would definitely not do again. These "villas" are basic apartments without any pleasant sort of outdoor area at all, and they're so far off the property that the entire experience feels disconnected. While spending the day at the pools we'd have to make the 5-minute trek to and from our room over and over just to use a private restroom, refill a wine glass, etc. This may work for some folks but it was a big disappointment for us. Having a golf cart for villa guests to go to and from the main property would be an improvement. The "off property" part *is* noted when you make the reservation, but I feel as if it should be much more clearly pointed out. Also, a few of the things were "off" with the housekeeping but I'm willing to chalk that up to a fluke. I would absolutely come back here, but I'd be sure to stay in one of the rooms on the main property instead of one of the villas. Speaking of the villas: Sadly the one directly next to ours was occupied by a group of women who thought it was appropriate to scream and party (and I mean literally screaming) until 2:30am. I've never experienced anything like it. If one of those girls who was staying on the night of November 10, 2021 happens to be reading this: What in the world is wrong with you? Not only do you have zero regard for your fellow guests, but that unit is in a residential neighborhood! It was a Wednesday night! People have to work the next day. The lack of basic decency and consideration some people have is mind boggling.

Yelp
This is an an older building and facility with the good and bad that come with it. We loved the spa facilities and the 3 choices for the hot spring pools. Staff and other guests were lovely this provided the relaxing getaway we wanted. I staid in the King Poolside unit and there is absolutely no place to hang your bath towels and swimsuits to dry and use the shower. Which I think could be easily problem solved by acknowledging the need for it. With older buildings come smaller unit footprints and it's truly impossible to maneuver through the interior doors of the bathroom or closet without rubbing up against the doors which have a very visible line of black grime on the edges and touch points everyone using this unit and how absolutely no one has cleaned them which is absolutely gross. I figured a spa would have a higher level of hygiene and cleanliness standards or I would've brought my usual just in case sanitizing wipes for hotel rooms. I don't understand how this passes housekeeping sign offs with how visible the grime build up is. It would literally just take a minute to wipe sanitizer/cleanser down both interior doors on the touch points of people coming in contact with the interior doors. I will probably be back but not without sanitizing wipes.

Yelp
We stayed in the Villa. When I arrived, my friend with whom I was sharing the Villa hadn't arrived yet, and the staff member said we should wait to go across the street, so I couldn't check in for 45 minutes but mostly waited in my car. The website doesn't say the villa is up the street. Rather, it says it's 150 yards away, which is vague. The villa is up the street, up the hill, and down the sidewalk. Because of the distance, we didn't want to walk to the mineral pools at night. Had we stayed on the property, or had the villa been across the street, we would have used the pools more. Pros: The bed and bedding were comfortable and clean. The shower was nice. New towels. Central air worked and was quiet enough. IKEA furnishings throughout were nice. View from the kitchen was okay (the website says "breathtaking views). You'll need to overlook the empty lot next door with refuse and dirt mounds. The bougainvillea outside that window could stand to be clipped. Mineral water Jacuzzi was nice when the jets were working. Cons: *Not the friendliest place. The massage staff looked nice but the front desk people were kind of cold (except for DeeAnna, who was very nice). *Sauna wasn't working when I arrived. The jets of the Jacuzzi didn't always work and we had to go get staff to get them working. *Website led me to believe there was a DVD player in the villa. There were DVDs, but no player that we could find. *Mosquitoes were nasty. Repellent didn't work. These are muscular mosquitoes...nasty little creatures. Not The Spring's fault, yet, the nasty buggers cast a shroud. *On our last day, the low battery from an alarm woke us up before 7:00 a.m. after a rough night battling the mosquitoes. I informed the front desk of the beeping battery and no one came to fix it. I had work to complete in the morning before I left, but the beeping was so annoying I couldn't work. When my friend checked out, she said the front desk said they were going to give us 10% off the bill due to the maddening beeping. But they didn't. * Staying at the villa means you won't see a housekeeper the entire time. It may be that the 150 yards is too far for them to stray or maybe the villa is too far from anyone's mind. The Spring website is lovely and makes the viewer feel as if they are going to have a lovely, lovely time. And when you book a stay at a spa, you hope that it will be a relaxing, rejuvenating time. We won't be returning, nor will we be recommending The Spa to our friends. If I was still a travel writer, this place would receive a poor review.

Yelp
My mom, boyfriend and I went to the spa for massages! Loved that we got two hours to enjoy the facilities! Lovely space but I walked into it expecting something a little different. The women's locker room is in its own separate area with no sinks/showers. You have to walk to the co-ed area to shower and use the sauna. They have an outdoor warm pool about 84 degrees, an indoor hot tub at around 100, and a nice outdoor jacuzzi above 104. No steam room unfortunately. Great massage but the music cut out and was not turned back on. Also, my Mom was cold in her room because they apparently didn't tell her about the heated table. So, just ask, and they'll turn the heat on your table while you get the massage :)

Yelp
When I arrived I was greated warmly and told that the room I booked was being painted so I was getting an upgraded room instead. "Upgrade" is my favorite word, I was very happy. The staff was superior, very helpful and accommodating. My room was clean and had a record player. A nice touch I wish I knew about because I have albums I would have brought with me, I'll remembe next time. The gounds were lovely and all three mineral pools were very nice and clean. Pleanty of towels and seating available. I really couldn't have asked for more. They offer a nice continential breakfast in the lounge area, daily cut fruit, breads, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, tea and coffee, Very nice touch. Covid rules are on the honor system. if you have been vaccinated you chose if you wear a mask or not. So here are the tihings that keep me from giving a 5 star review. My room, although beautiful had a couple of inconveniences. First there aren't any outlets near the bed or in the bedroom for your devices. I had to recharge my phone by the front door and the laptop in the kitchen. Also, they have stylish but non functional night tables next to the bed in room #4. It's a tiny log that was too short for the height of the bed. I like a place to keep by book, glasses, water and device. This was not it, I had to leave everything on the king bed. Good thing I was alone and had the room to myself. Also, this room does not have a switch near the bed to turn the bed lights off and on. Each time I had to get up and walk over to the wall to turn the lights out. Very annoying. Finally, the mineral water here has noticeable smell of chlorine. I think it's a tad too much too. I come to this area because the soaking really helps my arthritis. but I didn't get any relief this time and I believe it was because the chlorine level interfered with the natural healing properties? I don't know for sure, but I did notice that the water was not as silky and heavy on my skin like other places in the area. I did see the spa, but sadly I did not get any services. But I'm sure it's a good experience, others seemed very happy.

Yelp
Still the best place to unwind and mellow out during your PS vacay. The same check-in drill for visitors in my previous review still applies; need to call ahead for appointment, no walk-in's. Same price $50, worth every penny for 2-3 hours of mental and physical bliss. My favorite is the outdoor jet pool with 104-degree water.

Yelp
I love the hidden safe oasis, great for girls day spa or couples too! I go alone for massage and zen. It's a must try. Order the fruit and cheese platter and champagne!

Yelp
Came here for the day spa pass and it was awesome. It was so relaxing because the pools were heated. My favorite was definitely the indoor one because it was so relaxing and peaceful. It was a bit pricey at $50 for just being able to use the facilities but apparently that's pretty normal. We also tried the sauna which was nice but the pools were definitely a lot better. I also liked that there were drinks available and the fact that we could check in for a free glass of wine. The service was also impeccable and there was always someone walking around and refilling the baskets with fresh towels. Next time I come back, I definitely want to try a treatment and stay longer.

Yelp
DO NOT VISIT. The place looks nothing like the photos. It's a dump in DHS, just like most of the places there. The outdoor spa tubs are dirty and grimy. The dry sauna and steam room were both not working during our visit. No refund or explanation offered. Showers are co-ed and the experience is the same as using a public restroom. Towels are not soft. Massage by Carina was great. Three months later they charged my credit card because they thought they forgot to originally charge me for the visit. What spa charges a credit card without calling the customer first? Especially after three months had passed since the visit. I had to call my credit card company and the spa and the spring resort employees were not even sorry or willing to say they made a mistake. Again, do not visit this dump. Kudos to Carina tho. I hope she finds a better place to work.

Yelp
The Spring was very beautiful. We enjoyed staying at the Villa. It was so quiet and peaceful. We were able to completely relax. The bed was so comfortable. My husband and son loved their massage services. I loved my facial. The staff was professional and friendly. They really fulfilled all of our requests with a smile. They were interested in people and had real conversations about interesting topics. The mineral springs are excellent. After soaking and using the different pools I feel my knee joints are less stiff. I will definitely return soon!

Yelp
My fiance meant to get us a 2 night stay here but messed up, and only booked one night. Driving through desert hot springs was...interesting, to say the least. Most business are closed or boarded up, and look to be maybe 5 years old. There was one restaurant off the main street open. The spa is located within a normal looking neighborhood, and looks like a 1950s motel, which I enjoyed. The man that helped us check in explained that it was indeed an old motel, and the pool was also original. The atmosphere was serene and the entire place was very open and spacious. Greenery everywhere, lawn chairs, a hammock, etc.the main pool was clean and at 85 degrees. The covered spa was 105 degrees and was very private and comfortable. The smaller and hotter spa was located next to the outdoor shower and was hotter than 105. Our room was small but quaint and followed the serene theme throughout the spa. I had to take a star off because the bed was very uncomfortable and the toilet faced the wall and there was barely any leg space between it and the wall. The bathroom was remodeled and so was the kitchen, which was very well stocked. We had massages, a combo for 110 and a deep tissue for 175, all very good and thorough. We just wish they could've accomodated us for another night, but it was not a big deal. The other issue I had was that the lawn chairs are metal, and when the mean desert sun hits, you will get epic burns. That and there are no shades anywhere to place by these chairs. I'd recommend it for a quick getaway.

Yelp
The Springs is gated and is not visible to outsiders until walking into a large wooden door. It was beautiful . . . simply beautiful . . and a welcome relief after having hiked and driven around all day. My sister, niece and I ooh'd and awed as we walked to the nearby gift shop to check in. "It's so beautiful here!" I say to the receptionist who responds with an unamused look. She ignores my comment and immediately gives information about my lodging. She then states that Joseph will provide us with a tour of the spa before taking us to our accommodations. Joseph proved to be more pleasant to interact with. He spoke in a very hushed voice, explaining the need to speak quietly in common areas in order to keep a tranquil environment. He also explained that guests should not take calls in relaxation areas. We understood and tried to speak quietly too but accidentally all started laughing when Joe showed us a firepit that was slow to turn on. Joe quieted us quickly but was kind about it. In other words, he was awesome. He showed us our villa which was off property but only a block away. It was much more spacier than I imagined. I only knew that I rented something that could sleep us 3. I was expecting a bedroom attached to a small kitchenette with a sleeper sofa. Instead, I had a 2BR/2BA home with a full kitchen and living room. We were all pleasantly surprised and decided to enjoy our accommodations rather than immediately explore the area like we would normally do. I think having such nice accommodations and a beautiful spa facilities to use added immense value to our stay. The pool and spas are fed from hot springs and were nice and relaxing to enjoy. The pool, spas, and sauna are available for use to lodgers 24-hours a day so we decided to visit late in the evening (around 9pm) to avoid any day spa patrons. Although the resort was fully booked, only 2 other couples were out so each group had their own spa (there are 2 spas on the premises), pool, or sauna at any given time. In the morning, free breakfast (cereal, fruit, toast, and coffee) was available in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for the day to celebrate her birthday. The staff and the facilities were awesome! We all had our services at the same time and tried all three pools and two saunas. It was such a nice relaxing time. would definitely recommend this mineral springs spa resort.

Yelp
Lovely and romantic little Spa in the middle of the desert. 3 mineral pools at different temperatures will build up your precious wellness, as they are open 24/7. Service and cleanliness were perfect. I also enjoyed a super professional, intuitive massage. I will be back soon. Thank you.

Yelp
We LOVE The Spring! My partner and I come here every year around Christmas to unwind and has made it our tradition. The facility is very tranquil (think quiet, calming, serene) and the Californian mountains in the distance add a touch of magic. We have not stayed in the hotel portion of The Spring, but have always come to enjoy the natural hot springs and massages. I've had several different massage therapists over the years and they've all been professional, highly skilled, and effective in unwinding all my knots and stress. There is a reason why we come back year after year. We're excited to return this year after having to skip during the pandemic. See you soon!

Nicole W.

Yelp
The place is very peaceful n calming. There is 2 Jacuzzis and 1 pool all set at different Temps. Our room had a soaking tub, it was enclosed on our patio. Staff is very friendly, n accommodating. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the services we got were way overpriced. We got massages, which were great. We also got the sandlewood, n clay body wrap, which was way overpriced. It cost 195.00 to have sum clay rubbed on ur body that didn't do anything. My bf said it kinda burned his skin a lil, like they rubbed him down w acetone. Complete rib off! So if ur looking for spa services i suggest going elsewhere. My bill came out to a total of 1500 dollars. Way overpriced for mediocre services.

Yelp
I love this place. Im a frequent visitor of this establishment and I have always enjoyed my stay here. My most recent visit which was several weeks ago has been the worst. I am leaving this review not to bad-mouth or criticize but in hopes to get the management's attention to better server their future guests. I understand its really tough on business's especially during this pandemic crisis. They have tried their best to implement all safety guidelines issued by the CDC, however, the quality of stay has decreased significantly. 1) no access to sauna and shower area (due to covid , understandable) 2) breakfast in the morning is no longer available in the living room (due to covid , understandable) but they just throw in a plastic yogurt , and old apple, a dry pack of oatmeal in a plastic bag and give it to you upon request at the front desk.. cmon guys, this isn't the motel 6 , really? 3)all complementary teas .. gone 4) pools are not cleaned daily as they use to be 5) room service cleaning unavailable (due to covid , understandable) 6) spa services unavailable (due to covid , understandable) 7) staff was friendly and try their best to serve you Alot of the items that were once available are not available at the moment due to the covid situation, which i completely understand but my question is why charge the same full price for the rooms and the stay? The breakfast situation seemed like they just 'cheapened' out due to the resorts budget issue? This review does not mean i will not be returning.I highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a peaceful oasis in the desert, just not during this pandemic. You will be charged full price for your stay but a lot of the amenities will not be available to get the full- on experience that the springs has to offer

Yelp
A little piece of heaven. Driving up to the spa I was hesitant as to what we were getting into. It didn't seem to be located in a destination oasis. However, once you go through the doors the environment shifts--peace and tranquillity takes over. They offer 3 pools: a really hot pool, a hot pool and and large 80 plus degree pool. The water in each pool is from a spring dug from below. They offer water and tea at all the resting locations. We did 80 minute massages. I had Dale and he did an amazing job focusing on my problem areas (back and neck). I highly recommend him because muscles felt like butter after I was done. After the session he turned on the sauna and recommended I sit in there to open up my pores. It felt amazing. The only down side to the spa was the massage rooms. I felt like they were clutter with a bunch of stuff and didn't feel relaxing. They tried to block off the clutter with a standing divider but it felt weak. I feel the rooms can do some work. Another thing is that I could hear people talking and taking showers. Despite that I feel that it doesn't take away from the experience and we had an amazing time and can't wait to book another experience.

Yelp
THE place to go when you want to have peace and quiet. I love it here, feel relaxed and rejuvenated after my stay. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Very nice unique jewelry for sale too! Can't wait to go back.
