The Springs Motel

Last weekend I did a roadtrip with a friend out to the Berkshires to celebrate another friends birthday. Many of the bday party guest were staying at the Springs. When we arrived there were a few dozen guests having a pot luck dinner on the lawn before the party (at a separate location) Contactless check-in to the room was easy. The room is well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. I love the vintage vibe of the whole place (see photo of appliances below). In the morning we had a lovely chat with the new owner, Brian. He has a lot of wonderful plans for additions. Including making the Airstream a featured lodging option. I will absolutely stay there again when in the area and I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at the newly renovated motel, where owner David was friendly and helpful. The charming motel was perfect for our last-minute trip to enjoy the foliage at Mt. Greylock. They served spiked apple cider, a wide selection of local beers, and canned seltzer at their bar. We went to a cozy old-fashioned restaurant just 10 minutes away for dinner. They also offer a fire pit with wood and s'mores at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we were too tired to enjoy it after our hike, but the motel offers guests a great perk. We would stay again!!

Brian and his staff hosted our reunion group this weekend, and we had an excellent stay. They went the extra mile to make our group comfortable. The rooms are small, but nicely appointed. The cabins are so fun, and make an excellent gathering place for larger groups. Would definitely book here again.

We stayed at The Springs 9/19 - 9/21. It was a family reunion, so there was a large group of relatives there. Some had cabins, some had motel rooms. All were beautifully renovated, clean, and roomy. The beds were very comfortable! The staff were extremely accommodating. Chris P, in particular, went out of his way to make sure we were all enjoying our visit. The outside area is set up nicely for group activities, and the pool area is absolutely adorable. Our entire visit was wonderful and we will certainly be back!

Fantastic time at the hotel. Perfect for family gatherings. We stayed in Cabin 2 and loved it. Fun, retro charm, comfy beds, and beautiful porch with great view of the mountains. We were able to have a warm campfire too. The Berkshires is so great and this is close enough to all the great places and things to do--especially the ski areas. We'll definitely be back!

This hotel is under new management and I only have great things to say! They have done a wonderful job with the renovation. We stayed in a cabin and a room so we got to see what both were like. The cabin was spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was a perfect size for us to hang out in the evening. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and we loved the wallpaper! The front lawn is fun to hang out in with their picnic tables and lounge chairs. The pool was nice and clean and fun to play in. Location is super easy to find and they offered continental breakfast while we were there. It was perfectly sufficient for my family of four. The owners are extremely kind and went out of their way to be very hospitable. We left our swimsuit coverups on the back of the door in the bathroom and they went out of their way to return them to us. Definitely worth a stay!

Just had the most wonderful stay with my family this weekend. I don’t often write reviews but I have to say this place cannot be beat for the price! There is a relaxed throwback vibe and you are made to feel welcome right away with a warm lobby, and notes in the rooms greeting our party. The pool is perfect for relaxing in the sun, just steps away from the main strip of rooms. If you are lucky enough to get a cabin the ones in the back are secluded, quiet and the perfect place for a campfire with friends. You can’t tell they are working hard to restore this property. I can’t wait to see what it looks like next time we stay. Brian and manager Chris were exceptional! Went above and beyond for my family!!!

This motel is a work in wonderful progress. We will be back to see the updates next year!! Bravo to Brian and his team for the work he has put in as the new owner! The room was clean & comfortable, AC worked great, ease of check in/out, loved the fire pits, and the price point for staying in the Berkshires is what sold me. This motel brings everything it says it will and more. Thx for a wonderful stay.
