A New Year Welcomed with Grace, Tradition, and Quiet Mastery||To welcome the turning of the year within the noble halls of St. Regis Jakarta has, once again, been an honour of the highest distinction. This New Year’s Eve marked my third consecutive celebration at St. Regis Jakarta, a tradition I return to not out of habit, but out of reverence for a house that understands elegance as legacy rather than performance. With each passing year, the experience is rendered with the same quiet mastery—measured, graceful, and unmistakably refined.||Arrival and Check-in Experience:|From the very first moment, the arrival unfolded with composure and impeccable coordination. My sincere appreciation is extended to Mohammad Iqbal Karamayudha, Guest Service Manager, together with Arya, Geyrald Nathaniel, Fikri, Azhar, and Valeska Purnama, Loyalty Officer, from the Front Office team, as well as Laksmita Dewi, Assistant Director of Rooms. Their attentiveness and discretion shaped a welcome that felt dignified, unhurried, and deeply considered. The recognition extended upon arrival was subtle, refined, and profoundly appreciated—setting a tone of quiet distinction for the evening ahead.||Room and Butler Service:|The private sanctuary of the room reflected the very essence of St. Regis service—thoughtful, precise, and instinctively attuned. I extend my warm appreciation to Ibu Sagung Dewi for the meticulous preparations arranged prior to my arrival. My gratitude also goes to Clarissa Siemmanjaya, Mohammad Yogi Adiputra Priatna, and Mas Diki Chandra, whose presence was felt not through intrusion, but through flawless anticipation. The 24-hour butler service was delivered with a natural grace that spoke of tradition, discipline, and genuine pride in service.||Spa Experience:|The spa offered a rare interlude of stillness amid the cadence of celebration—an oasis befitting reflection at the close of one year and the threshold of another. My sincere appreciation is extended to Muliani Ni Komang, Director of Spa, whose gracious leadership was evident in the serene harmony of the experience. I also wish to acknowledge Mas Budi from the Spa team for his calm professionalism and attentive care.|My heartfelt thanks further extend to the Spa Therapist team, whose skilled hands, quiet presence, and intuitive understanding of balance transformed the treatment into an experience of true restoration and refined well-being.||Food & Beverage Experience:|Throughout my stay, the excellence of the Food & Beverage experience was evident in both detail and demeanor. I am deeply grateful to the Bel Étage team—David Pongkendek, Aurellya Sastrodihardjo, Ela Gratia Natalia, Age, Edo, Mas Ilham, Edward Yehezkiel Sirait, Muhammad Aldi Septian, and Sebastian Gustanto—whose service was marked by refinement, precision, and genuine warmth.|My warm thanks also extend to Ilham Sigit Winnanto, Ibu Lulu Nabilla Rusmawan, and Rasyad Khairi, Restaurant Manager, whose thoughtful orchestration and gracious leadership ensured each dining moment felt both personal and impeccably composed.||Rose Dining Experience:|An evening at Rose was an eloquent expression of culinary restraint and artistry. My sincere appreciation goes to Chef Kevin Lee, Wynne Aurelia Harlie, and Galih Nugraha for an experience defined by refined flavours, elegant pacing, and a quiet confidence that allowed the cuisine to speak for itself.||The St. Regis Bar:|The St. Regis Bar remains an enduring cornerstone of my New Year’s Eve tradition. My heartfelt appreciation is extended to Tesalonika Omega, Karina K., Bar Floor Manager, Nara, Aldo, Siska, Zowe, Ika Dian Aruna, Fransiska, Laras Oktariani, and Paulo Naranjo, together with Fahri Yusuf, Bartender, Muhammad Ridwan, and the St. Regis Bar Jakarta home band. Their mastery, warmth, and intuitive sense of rhythm created evenings that were spirited yet impeccably poised—faithful to the timeless legacy of the St. Regis name.||Special Appreciation:|I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to Pak Oliver Kreuzer, General Manager, and Riccardo Fabian, Hotel Manager, whose steady leadership is reflected in every aspect of the guest experience. My thanks also go to Konstantin Nemochnyi, Director of Food & Beverage, whose vision and stewardship were unmistakably present in the consistency and elegance of each culinary moment.|Finally, my deepest gratitude is reserved for Pak Tono, “the first face of St. Regis Jakarta,” whose dignified presence and gracious manner continue to embody the soul of this remarkable house.||As the year turned, St. Regis Jakarta once again proved to be more than a place of celebration—it is a residence of tradition, grace, and enduring refinement. Thank you to the entire team for curating a New Year’s Eve defined by poise, sincerity, and understated grandeur. I look forward to continuing this cherished tradition in the years to come.||Warmest regards,|Agung
