The St. Regis Jakarta

We had a wonderful stay at The St. Regis Jakarta, and once again the service truly set it apart. Our favourite member of staff, Fredlyn, made our experience especially memorable — she even remembered our preferences from our previous visit, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. We would also like to warmly acknowledge Wiratama, Aye, and Joshua, who were all exceptional throughout our stay. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail reflected the high standards of the St. Regis brand. From the comfort of the room to the thoughtful, personalised service, everything was outstanding. This level of care is what keeps us coming back, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

St. Regis Jakarta is truly one of the best hotels in the city, offering exceptional service throughout my one-week stay. From the smooth check-in process to the butler who was very informative and friendly, everything felt personalized and of high quality. The room was excellent, and the thoughtful surprises added a special touch.||I experienced a minor issue with the hair dryer, but it was resolved quickly. Breakfast was outstanding and highly recommended. I did face some challenges with the parking process, as my card and ticket were not read properly a few times, which caused some waiting. However, the staff managed to resolve the issue, even though it was slightly less satisfying.||Overall, I am happy with my stay and will definitely return to this hotel.

Generally I have a pleasant short stay here. Everything is immaculate despite several flops that shouldn’t be happened for a top notch hotel brands. What I like the most is the grande and majestic design of the christmas decoration (since I stayed here in December), tranquility of the room (so refreshing and well thought), and fabulous taste of dishes (Belle Etage is amazing). Hotel staff is respectful though I understand it requires extra to serve tons of demanding guest during festive period. Good gesture as well to address flops I mentioned before.

Our earliest stays at this hotel were admittedly disappointing. The property often hosts large events, and during those periods, the guest experience can be noticeably affected.||That said, our recent visits have begun to restore confidence. The culinary offering, in particular, has improved remarkably — both in taste and overall quality — and continues trending in the right direction.||For Bonvoy members, a small note: the hotel does not typically offer proactive upgrades. To secure a meaningful enhancement, it’s best to apply a Suite Night Award or reach out to the property in advance. Otherwise, upgrades tend to be modest — often just a single category that feels hardly different.

St. Regis Jakarta redefines the meaning of perfection. From the moment I arrived, everything was orchestrated with such grace and attention to detail that it felt almost unreal. The personalized butler service was beyond exceptional, every request was anticipated even before I asked, making me feel like royalty in the heart of Jakarta. What truly amazed me was how reasonable the stay is for a five-star property of this calibre , every experience, from the gourmet dining to the serene ambience, felt priceless. The food, the scent of the lobby, the quiet elegance of every corner , it’s something that words can’t fully describe. You have to experience it yourself to understand what true luxury feels like. And the penthouse? Absolutely breathtaking. For around RM 50 K per night, it’s a masterpiece , spacious, sophisticated, and filled with warmth. Honestly, I wouldn’t even mind spending RM 1 million here, because the level of comfort and service is simply unmatched anywhere else. St. Regis Jakarta isn’t just a hotel , it’s an emotion, a sanctuary, and my second home every time I return to this city. St. Regis forever. ❤️✨

I normally stay at the Mandarin Oriental but decided to switch things up and stay at the St Regis. ||Check in was smooth and they were so kind as to provide early check in. I’m Marriott Platinum and was also staying on an Amex reservation so got upgraded to a corner room. ||The room is very stylish and quiet. My only issue was working out how to turn the lights off. I’d expect when you hit master switch all lights would turn off but this wasn’t the case. It took a bit of trial and error to turn it all off. I tried to call reception to help but they were busy and didn’t answer. To their credit they returned my call shortly after but by that time I was sorted and trying to sleep after a long flight.||Room service is awesome. What I really liked was the selection of local dishes with high quality ingredients. Another perk is free unlimited coffee and tea - just call the butler and it’s on its way.||Breakfast is amazing. Again, lots of Indonesian delicacies plus all the western stuff you’d expect.||The swimming pool is like a resort pool vs a standard lap pool. I liked that about it but serious exercisers might think otherwise.||The st Regis bar is a destination onto itself. High quality live jazz, snacks and drinks. Even if you are not staying it’s worth visiting.||A lovely two night stay was almost ruined at the deli/cake shop. I had some remaining American Express food and beverage credit so I thought I’d buy a few things to take for the trip. The guy in charge made the process overly complicated as I tried to check out. He demanded me to run from the check out counter to the shop to sign the bill and supervise the ordering. He wouldn’t prepare the food until after I’d officially checked out causing my driver to wait unnecessarily. I think this gentleman perhaps has a promising career in Government bureaucracy but he is definitely not cut out for hospitality.||Anyway, a small blemish right at the end. I’ll choose to focus on the many positives in my memories.

As regular guests, we can confidently say that the service at this hotel is consistently outstanding.||The concierge team always goes above and beyond to accommodate our requests with professionalism and genuine care. Their willingness to help and attention to detail make every stay seamless and comfortable.||The Bel Étage restaurant service staff are equally impressive — always prompt, attentive, and thoughtful, and they remember our preferences, which makes us feel truly valued and welcomed each time we dine.||Thank you to the entire team for maintaining such a high standard of hospitality.
