The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is anything but understated. Rising above the KL Sentral district, the hotel trades in bold proportions and unapologetic indulgence, from the Fernando Botero horse sculpture in the lobby to the Veuve-stocked minibar styled after a vintage travel trunk. Rooms start at 678 square feet and feel larger, with walk-in wardrobes, double vanities, and glossy marble everywhere you turn. While the crowd shifts from business to leisure as the week rolls on, the mood stays sharp: skyline swims, high-wire Japanese tasting menus, and cocktails served with just the right amount of twist." - Tablet Hotels

St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is actually quite impressive. The hotel is spotless, and the people here are stylish and welcoming. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful if you ever look a bit lost, someone will immediately offer assistance. I wanted to also add the butler service that they offer is amazing... They come within minutes of requesting anything. They are so polite. The view from my room wasn’t exactly what I’d hoped for, but it was still pleasant. The only downside is the location, it’s not really walkable to many attractions. However, the train station is nearby, and Grab rides are super affordable in KL, so getting around isn’t a problem at all.

I must admit, although the name St. Regis carries prestige, my expectations were modest after a disappointing stay at St. Regis Langkawi. However, I decided to give this one a try — and I’m glad I did. Perhaps coming in with low expectations worked to my advantage this time, as my experience at St. Regis Kuala Lumpur was genuinely pleasant. The breakfast experience was excellent. In addition to the buffet, guests can order from a thoughtfully curated à la carte menu. The food quality was impressive — noticeably better than what I experienced at the Four Seasons about a year ago. I also appreciated the convenience of using the Marriott Bonvoy app for butler service. Response times were fast, and the service provided through the app was exceptional throughout my stay. I would have gladly rated this a full five stars, but there were two shortcomings worth mentioning: 1. Kids Club access – The charge of RM 80 for a full day’s access feels excessive, especially since many other five-star hotels offer similar facilities complimentary. If the experience were notably superior, the fee might be justifiable, but in this case, it seemed disproportionate. 2. Housekeeping timing – On the second day, we specifically requested for our room to be cleaned before 2 PM while we were out. Despite clear instructions and an acknowledgment from staff, the room was not cleaned as requested, which was disappointing. For these reasons, I’m deducting half a point for each issue, leaving my overall rating at 4 stars. Still, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I would consider returning.

Absolutely love everything about st regis in KL. Their basic guest rooms are spacious, beds are so comfy.. Breakfast options were amazing. Best place if you’d like a quieter area but still near to klcc and pavilion if you take grab. Easily top 3 hotels I’ve stayed in KL and ive stayed at plenty five star ones. I’ll definitely come back.

St Regis Kuala Lumpur never fails to impress. The Gastro Bar is my go-to spot for a quiet drink , its ambience matches my mood perfectly. I often come here for high tea at the drawing room too; the taste, presentation, and service are always exquisite. It’s where I’ve shared beautiful moments with my international friends, though I prefer keeping it intimate as the space feels a little too open. From start to finish, the service remains flawless , a signature St. Regis experience I’ll always treasure.✨

Had an absolutely terrible experience for my best friend's wedding. A WEDDING! The service was abysmal. Most guests had to spend most of the night waving and trying to get their attention (most would ignore), and ordering the same thing 3 or 4 times, because the item would NEVER COME. This would happen for almost every course of the dinner. The second course, our entire table never received. You could see around the ballroom every table was done and being cleared, or nearly done. We had to beg for attention, again, because staff would blankly stare and never acknowledge, and ask nearly 3 times. Then, asking for tea, wine, rice. Same problem. Again and again. It was infuriating. Plus, the staff seemed to have zero training. No knowledge about drinks they were serving, or food. Sometimes it seemed they didn't understand a basic request like "1 white wine and 1 tea". Icing on the cake? The speakers didn't work. Highlight of the night, the wedding video, the audio kept breaking. This is meant to be one of the best hotels, and one of the most expensive too. How does all of this warrant the price? It was absolutely disheartening to see, knowing how much heart my best friend put into planning everything. Guess name doesn't mean good service.

I have been coming back to this particular hotel more than 10 times in the last few years for work and family fun. St Regis in my opinion has the highest level of service. I have been here many times with my family in the last few years, and they always impress us with their service. This time my son unfortunately wasn’t feeling well and was feeling cold during breakfast. A service staff actually noticed that and brought a blanket to warm him up. This simple action prompted me to think that their fantastic service ideology has permeated to every single person in the hotel , not only your typically friendly doormen, concierge and management staff. They are indeed delivering care and pleasure to every minute way.

St. Regis offers high end excellence in every corner in buildings, interior, staff and offerings.||The only drawbacks at st.Regis are:| | 1) |The hopelessly uncontrollable air-conditioning in the room. ( Whatever button you push or turn , it just cools insanely). The mechanic's advice was just to "shut it all down". ((With 30 degrees C. outside!!)|My advice would be to apply the same level of precision adjustments as you find at their magic-automatic toilets.||2)|Their Grand Ballroom's loudspeakers generate a much disturbing micro-echo which is completely unacceptable (- and technically avoidable!!) when 600 people gather for the purpose of listening to the most distinctive leaders and experts including the prime minister (and me😉). ||3)|The' Brasserie" restaurant is famed for its Michelin level - and certainly worth a visit- but far too much in demand for breakfast- visitors with serious timeplans.||But thanks to the cosy and caring " Crystal" restaurant I maintain my overall 5- rating!

5/5 Delightful Overnight Stay! |Stay experience has upgraded to a next level. This time my return is an even more delightful experience. |Butler Robi is attentive and return presses on time. A pleasant surprised with a premium chocolate bar as I was craving for sweets. Bedding is comfortable with nice, relax aromatherapy spray. Sleeps well.|Breakfast at St Regis is even better than before with eggless croissant and added more veg dishes. St Regis is consistent and strives to be better as always.
