The Stable Lofts

Stayed at the stable lofts in the last two days and was very pleasantly surprised by the experience. The place was very clean, tidy and well kept. It also had all the materials you’d need to make a simple dinner or breakfast. The outside of the house has a rustic charm~ The best part was the gardens - very lovely to wake up to! We saw wallabies on the way back home at night! The place is quiet so it’s easy to get good rest, and very accessible by car. Strongly recommend for future visits!

Staying at The Stables Loft felt like stepping straight into a countryside painting – the kind that evokes peace, charm, and timeless beauty. From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted by the warm, cosy atmosphere and the stunning setting. The beautifully maintained gardens add a dreamy, cottage-like feel that instantly makes you slow down and breathe in the serenity. The interiors are absolutely gorgeous – impeccably styled with countryside antiques and thoughtful details that speak to both elegance and comfort. Everything was spotless, and the space carried a romantic, intimate feel that made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Though it feels like a secluded escape, it’s just a short 15-minute drive from Launceston, making it both peaceful and perfectly located. The owners were warm and responsive, which we really appreciated. They made the process smooth and welcoming. We are looking forward to returning! If you’re looking for a romantic countryside retreat with character, comfort, and charm in abundance, The Stables Loft is an absolute gem.

This place is absolutely picture perfect! Myself, my partner and a group of friends booked three out of the four stables for a few nights while we were in town for a wedding. We did not want to leave! Nic and her husband made us feel so welcome, leaving little treats for us to enjoy over our stay and encouraging us to enjoy the garden area. Definitely the best accommodation in Launceston.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Tassie wine region nearby. The details in the interior and the beautiful garden with fire pit outside make you feel instantly on holiday. Truly appreciate all the effort the host puts in sharing must-sees and leaving fun games to play.

Absolutely beautiful, we are staying in the Stable Loft and it’s stunning. The attention to detail and cleanliness is second to none. Gardens are lovely and it’s like stepping into a fairytale. Everything is quality and it’s speaks to the commitment of the hosts. Nicole even went as far to deliver 4 fresh eggs from the on-site hens 😍. Couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left it was the perfect stay. The welcome by Nic and Innes was so welcoming and the gardens are amazing - so beautiful. And then we were shown our room and - wow, just wow. It was so beautiful and perfect. The heater was on so it was nice and warm and the little touches and set up of our loft apartment was just right. Such a perfect place to finish our day and the hosts couldn’t do enough for us. I really wanted to stay longer and we will definitely be back. Great find and thoroughly recommend a stay here - so relaxing.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at the lofts on the first two nights of our honeymoon. Nicole is such a beautiful, warm host and she brought around some freshly baked cookies the afternoon of the first day. The lofts are wonderful and decorated with authenticity and vintage pieces. The garden is stunning and a pleasure to walk around. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Stable Lofts. The loft we stayed in was gorgeous and the external garden just as beautiful. All the important things are provided - fresh eggs, tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels, seriously comfy bed, and freshly baked cookies on arrival! Everything has been thought of here, including the option to use the firepit outside - its all set up and ready to go. They even had some hot chocolate and marshmallows! Would gladly stay here again, we had such a lovely time.
