The Stable Lofts

This place is absolutely picture perfect! Myself, my partner and a group of friends booked three out of the four stables for a few nights while we were in town for a wedding. We did not want to leave! Nic and her husband made us feel so welcome, leaving little treats for us to enjoy over our stay and encouraging us to enjoy the garden area. Definitely the best accommodation in Launceston.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Tassie wine region nearby. The details in the interior and the beautiful garden with fire pit outside make you feel instantly on holiday. Truly appreciate all the effort the host puts in sharing must-sees and leaving fun games to play.

Absolutely beautiful, we are staying in the Stable Loft and it’s stunning. The attention to detail and cleanliness is second to none. Gardens are lovely and it’s like stepping into a fairytale. Everything is quality and it’s speaks to the commitment of the hosts. Nicole even went as far to deliver 4 fresh eggs from the on-site hens 😍. Couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at the lofts on the first two nights of our honeymoon. Nicole is such a beautiful, warm host and she brought around some freshly baked cookies the afternoon of the first day. The lofts are wonderful and decorated with authenticity and vintage pieces. The garden is stunning and a pleasure to walk around. We will definitely return!

From the moment we arrived to the time we left it was the perfect stay. The welcome by Nic and Innes was so welcoming and the gardens are amazing - so beautiful. And then we were shown our room and - wow, just wow. It was so beautiful and perfect. The heater was on so it was nice and warm and the little touches and set up of our loft apartment was just right. Such a perfect place to finish our day and the hosts couldn’t do enough for us. I really wanted to stay longer and we will definitely be back. Great find and thoroughly recommend a stay here - so relaxing.

The Stables, in the charmingly historic town of Carrick just 20 minutes from the centre of Launceston, provides a refuge for any couple to while away a few days amongst a beautiful garden all while exploring the area. ||||The beautiful gardens provide plenty of hidden sitting spots to read a quiet book in the dappled sunlight. If you'd prefer to sit around an outdoor fire and drink some local wines they'll suit that too. They even feature a lively band of chickens and their chicks that can be spied amongst the flower beds. ||||The accommodation is clean and freshly renovated. It is comfortable with all the modern appliances needed. Complimentary fresh eggs daily were a lovely bonus.||||The hospitality of the owners were absolutely amazing - they were fantastic to chat too, bounce any itinerary problems off, and most importantly - bake the most delicious cookies.

We came along expecting to have a nice stay, but turned out to be much more than that. Nicole, Iness and the whole family were so welcoming and kind to us. Not to mention the out standing landscape, architecture and furnishing of the stable. We left feeling overwhelmed with joy and would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking to getaway, relax and feel taken care of. Nicole went above and beyond to make our stay at the Stable Lofts a memorable and amazing one! Our room was divine, with beautiful styling and fresh eggs from her chickens! Nicole even baked us fresh cookies to welcome us. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Tasmania and highly recommend The Stable Lofts to anyone who want to experience a special part of Tassie.
