The Station

Good food and quick service. This is a great small town casual restaurant with good home cooked food. We went on a Friday night and it was busy but all of the food come out quick.

Haven't been here for several years. This time was memorable and good service. Going back to try other food as well.

They are short-staffed, but you wouldn't know it. Our waiter was on top of things. The food was really good. We loved the homemade fries. I enjoyed my mushroom Swiss burger. My husband's southwest burger with jalapeños and cream cheese didn't last long. And my slow-eating daughter finished her Station burger at the same time I finished my food. We will be back.

We showed up at what I thought we be a good time to eat dinner and they were out of the prime rib...seemed a little early to me, but sometimes it is hard to determine how many people you will have coming in due to Covid restrictions and all that BS. My buddy and I ended up ordering a couple burgers with fries and an order of mushrooms. The food was great. It was served with very little wait time. The order was spot on and neither of us walked away from that table feeling like we could eat anymore. Thankful for the ladies that took care of us. They kept our drinks coming and were very friendly.

Came in for lunch a lil late to get the special, but the waitress recommended one of their specialty burgers and hands down the most delicious burger it was. Prompt service, kind staff and great food at an affordable price! What more could you ask for. Will be stopping by for lunch when I’m in town more often!

Friendly, fast, fair price and fabulous food. I had one of their unique burgers and she had a chicken fry. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food came in 5 minutes we looked at each other in surprise and the table next to us got their food just as quick. Food was good! I'll stop again for the fair prices and good food. Thanks!

Pretty good food for the area. Wait staff was great. Typical small town burger joint with elevated menu. I had the mushroom swiss burger with loaded baked potato. Good but not amazing. Prices were in line for the quality.

The Station has a fun atmosphere that shows off the history of the area. The service was friendly, and quick to facilitate the needs of customers. The food was excellent and portions generous. The drinks and bar service were great. It's obvious that this is a popular place for the locals and travelers alike. I would recommend to anyone to stop in for a bite. I'm from Montana, and will most definitely be making some excuse to travel back over for a meal.

Had The Engineer burger. Was huge, juicy, great pickles, excellent onion rings, crisp bacon, plenty of cheese and a toasted bun that could handle it all. The fries were fresh cut potatoes and perfectly crisp and seasoned. Very impressed. From Hays, but this easily beat the tar out of any burger back home.

Honestly the owners have done a great job. Prime rib was excellent but the tables up in the front were absolutely freezing. They had the door left open between the main door and the restaurant and I couldn't stop shaking I was so cold. But honestly I could have just put my coat back in. Doesn't change the fact that the atmosphere is wonderful. It's nice and clean and I think one of the best parts besides the food was the sweet owners. Charming and fun to talk to. You can tell that the station is their baby. Glad we tried it. Definitely going back!

On a hunting trip here all week, and this was our "go-to" spot for dinner. The menu has a wide variety to choose from and evening specials nightly. I wish I could say that I went outside of the wing basket, but that's what I stuck with all week - a 1lb portion (about 8 wings) with a side and a pitcher of beer for $19 and some change. Others in the group had a variety of items from the specials to sandwiches and there were no complaints from anyone. Looks this is our regular for dinner when in town!

Great little family style restaurant. Passing thru on a Saturday evening found us with very limited food options. This place didn't disappoint. Char burgers were thick and juicy and the steak was delicious. Staff was nice.

The parking lot was packed for such a small town and the food and service were amazing. We were here on a Friday and ordered the New York Strip, Prime Rib, Seafood Alfredo, and a Bull burger. All were outstanding. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and the seafood Alfredo was full of huge chunks of crab meat and shrimp. Highly recommended!

Waitress is overwhelmed. Not very nice. I understand being busy but you still can be decent to your customers. Also My daughter's 21st Birthday and when i told the waitress she didnt say anything just acted disgusted that we were here

We were in town for a week. This place had great burgers. We wee so glad we came across it. Good hamburger buns as well.

We stopped in Alma when we ran into severe weather. Our hotel recommended The Station, and it awesome! The food was delicious (we had burgers), the beer was cold, and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend eating here anytime!

My husband and I are from South Alabama. Traveled thru Alma NE and stopped in for a quick dinner. If we had known the portion size, we probably would have ordered less. Not only were the portions large, everything we ordered was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Delicious!! I ordered the homemade, beer battered onion rings and the beef tip salad with, again, homemade ranch dressing. No bottled ranch. My husband ordered fried chicken gizzards and the nights special, bbq pork baby back ribs and, that's right, homemade cole slaw!! We are originally from Louisiana and tremendous foodies that are adventurous in our dining choices and we cook home cooked food all the time.. It was a great tasting, out of the ordinary cole slaw. We enjoyed some friendly banter with our server, a cute redhead, and had a nice conversation with the cook who is also the owner during our dinner. Just wanted to share our great experience!

We stayed at a hotel across from The Station. On Saturday night we had supper there. The food was great and the people working there were awesome. Small town hospitality goes a long way.
