The Station Cafe Bar Restaurant

We dined here today out onto the platform and we were instantly greeted by an attentive young lady. The food was quick to come out and tastes great. The only thing I would have liked was for the barramundi to be seared and have the crispy skin as the menu says and a larger quantity as the main felt on the smaller side. This is only minor. Overall , a great dining experience that didn't disappoint.☺️

I had a great experience at this restaurant located in the train station. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The standout, however, was the service—the waitress was friendly, caring, and went out of her way to be accommodating. It’s a lovely spot for a meal, whether you’re just passing through or looking for a place to enjoy good food with great service!

Really good food. Good size and flavor. Food and service spot on. Added to the great train ride in and out. A must if you are in the area.

Stopped by this regional restaurant and it was a pleasant experience. The ambience was great - cozy and inviting. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The Chicken Burger was good, but not spectacular. Given the restaurant's regional location, I was impressed by the flavors. Overall, I'd say it's a solid choice for a casual meal.

Rowdy atmosphere. Live music was fun. Food was hit and miss. The desserts on the menu were nice but the basque cheesecake from the counter which was recommended to us was super weird and had a strong artificially processed cream cheese taste. We split a slice between the 3 of us and my dining companions couldn’t finish theirs.

Had lunch here on Sunday. The staff were very accommodating and they did a great job. I ordered the salt and pepper squid and it is the best I've had in Maryborough hands down. I will be back for sure, just for that. Unfortunately, they are a bit hit and miss. I ate my nephew's chicken schnitzel as well, and it was over cooked. Talking with others that attended the event I was part of, everyone that ordered the chicken seemed to have the same opinion. I do recommend this place. Great team and service. There's just a couple of small rough spots, but they'll probably improve on those areas soon enough.

Came on a Friday afternoon so it was nice and quiet. What a great idea for a train platform! Had fish and chips and pork belly burger. Both were fantastic! The outdoor seating is nice and spacious! Was a bit of a chill though but that's just standard Melbourne weather for you!

Had lunch here on a very wet day during the Energy Breakthrough event. Can sit inside or outside under cover on the platform. Friendly and quick service. Salt & Pepper Calamari was very enjoyable. Cappuccino good. Coffee loyalty card. Reasonable prices.
