This place is always so colorful and fun! It’s definitely one of our favorite spots in Joshua Tree! It’s always so unique and there is always something new there to see! So creative and exciting. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The snacks are great and the local products are wonderful! Such a great place that I highly recommend. For sure worth a stop when exploring the desert!

Google
This town was absolutely amazing. The history, the mountains, the caves, the entire place. They even have some smaller animals and places to eat. Plenty of outdoor restrooms and even picnic tables.

Google
Such a cute shop! Got some cool t-shirts and trinkets

Google
This is such a fun shop!! I could spend an hour in there and not see everything. I love cool, funky stuff and nostalgic collectibles, and this place has those things. If you're in the area, you should check it out.

Google
Arguably one of the coolest stores I have set foot into. Lots of quirky merch.

Chelsea Frahm

Google
Funky unique store right off the main road. Parking is around back. Lots of little odd finds! Personally not my kind of store but definitely has some cool stuff!

Amy Leffler

Google
Fun and quirky gift shop! Definitely a must when stopping in Joshua Tree. Even if you don’t buy anything it’s still fun to stop and take pictures and look at the quirkiness of the store.

Google
My husband and myself recently had a weekend getaway at the Joshua Tree Inn, we had a pleasant stay, it's the Joshua Tree I grew up with and people from the desert remember. If you really want to experience the high desert it's the perfect place to stay. The only thing I would recommend is that if you're traveling with small children then you should have food on hand for them. We will hopefully return in the near future!

Yelp
Love this store! Great selection of shirts and kitschy items. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in the Joshua Tree area.

Yelp
They really did have a lot of unique things and definitely could find something for anyone that you are shopping for. I would say that they could be a tad more friendly. Did really get a warm welcome when I arrived or was shopping. I definitely will give credit though for their selection

Yelp
Fun little place on the way out of Joshua Tree National Park. Bought some friendship bracelets, magnets, sweater, and posters. Nice place in Palm Springs area

Yelp
This place is fun and weird and has plenty of interesting stuff to look at and buy. I loved the photo ops and the unique souvenirs.

Yelp
No service at gas station it's a walk in for JT goodies. Had a wide range of cute JT souvenirs, cute outside photo opportunities: Big lookalike Paul Bunyan, white & yellow cars and patio area with gift options. Counter employee was nice & engaged in some commentary regarding Cheez-it station that was temporarily there which we had inquired about. Supercool gift store to stop in & purchase items & take pics. Put it on your list!

Yelp
Best selection of rowdy (and tame) vintage bumper stickers in SoCal. It's what keeps me coming back

Yelp
Destination - The Station of Joshua Tree This super venue meets gift & souvenir shop is a photo-worthy slice of oasis in the desert. Come for the vintage and nuance vibes, amazing service and beautiful layout.... just shy of the Joshua Tree visitors center and Joshua Tree National (park). Proud owner of a new navy blue The Station Tee, I couldn't be happier with and at a great price ($25). Added some groovy shades and miscellaneous knick knacks (like magnets) to my purchases as well. Walking around is pretty maze like, this places is definitely bigger than it appears as they've had weddings and celebrations here many times including a friend of friends wedding a few years back I've seen pictures of. They spruce things up for fancy fun! There's a motel next door that I was told is just okay, but very convenient if you do decide to rent out the space and host an event here. I don't know if they can provide or more so suggest vendors (food trucks, etc) and music for you - but was told they're great at accommodating whatever they can and have professional photo shoots here often. Would definitely consider a birthday or celebration of some kind here for sure or at the very least stop by for more neat vintage vibes and gifts for others. Their huge back patio, restrooms and landscape are all worth checking out as well. Pull in at Twentynine Palms Highway & Grand View Circle on your adventures, travels and/or vacation.

Yelp
The Station Joshua Tree is an amazing gift shop and tourist destination. From the outside it looks like a gas station is definitely way more than that First of all, it's the home of, Big Josh so if nothing else stop by and get a picture with him. The store has got a ton of great items to look at from blankets, t shirts, and a ton of other great souvenirs that highlight the funky area you're in. The staff working when I was there was beyond friendly; we chatted for a few minutes while I was there and I definitely felt right at home. The bathroom is a must visit for sure. The Station in my opinion is definitely worth a stop and revisit next time I find myself in Joshua Tree. The prices were reasonable, the staff was great and the items were really interesting.

Yelp
Awful experience at The Station. I spent over a $100 bucks on vinyl and while I was shopping at the back, one of the employees or owner (?) came over. He asked me to move straight away very rudely as they needed to set up a wedding. When I responded that I was almost done, he stormed away cursing and muttering under his breath. It was so stressful and I don't understand why in a place with such a high number of customers, the staff cannot be kinder. I will never go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Not sure what the hype is about "The Station." Cool old vehicles staged outside. Inside, they have a wide variety of items from the past. I even saw a Rat Fink themed decal! The guy behind the counter never said "hi" or really looked up. They had custom t shirts made for The Station, but they were $35. They had unique bandanas, but I could not find a price.

Yelp
A must if you're in Joshua Tree! Love their random choices for souvenirs and gifts. Cashiers and workers are always nice and the prices are decent :)

Yelp
This is our first stop every year when we do our Joshua Tree trip. The place itself is just awesome. The shirts and trinkets and million other cool things are awesome. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly (which we've found can be hit or miss with JTree shops when they're dealing with out of towners) Just can't recommend this place enough.

Yelp
Stopped here with our kids and from the moment we got there, we were greeted and treated amazing! I also witnessed the employees treating other customers amazing and it was nice to go in there, have the kids ride the rides out back and take pictures with the turtle in the back. Cute items are sold in there and I'll definitely come back to buy the prickly pear syrup that can be added to your drinks at home! I didn't get their names but there was a guy with an orange shirt that was super nice to my sons and nephews and they had an amazing time shopping and looking around. I loved how friendly they were with the kids! Handicap friendly, amazing employees, cute items, cold drinks, it was nice to finally stop there and enjoy it.

Yelp
This place is a cool little spot right down the block from the entrance to Joshua tree national park. The man working there, who I think is the owner, was really nice and a lot of fun. Definitely has a personality and will interact with you to get you smiling. They had random things there from vintage stuff to gift shop stuff. The reason my friend and I stopped there tho was for the blankets, which were high quality and affordable.

Yelp
I loved this shop. It is fun and quirky. Lots of fun things. The owners definitely have a sense of humor.
google avatar

Yelp
We try to stop in every time we go to Joshua tree, and buy a sticker, or a magnet for our collection. It's always a great place to stretch your legs.

Yelp
The Station is a gift shop that has been converted from a gas station that has the look and feel of a place from the 1940s or maybe the 1950s. If you're driving into town, you cannot miss it because there is a giant Cowboy statue out front as a landmark, along with a row of about 30 mailboxes by the curb. The actual shop is smallish, but well maintained and contains a good variety of souvenirs. This place is perfect to get a gift before headed out of town, along with some solid photo ops.

Monique P.

Yelp
Quirky and cute local finds. A must see while in Joshua Tree. Came for Cheese-It Pop Up but preferred the way it was vintage and authentic.
google avatar

Eliz B.

Yelp
Nicely curated shop with both new and vintage wares. Shirts, gifts, curios, puzzles - be sure to check out the bathroom and take a look out back as well!
google avatar

Rae S.

Yelp
Super sick store, has everything u could need for souvenirs and is just such a cool place to go. Vibes are immaculate
google avatar

Joshua C.

Yelp
An adorable shop converted from a 1940's service station. A cool place to check out. If you're in JT it's worth taking some time to check it out.
google avatar

PJ C.

Yelp
Big Josh is worth a stop even if the store is closed. Another muffler man... but this one has been wonderfully reimagined. We did cruise through the store which is filled with a real mish-mash of new items and retro antiques. Quirky and fun. Great place for JT souvenirs. Shout out to Glen the owner who is originally from Wisconsin!

Yelp
Super Fun place!! A must stop just for the insta cute pic spots at the shop. This Cool vibe shop is filled with unique souvenirs and other fun kitschy stuff. They have some naughty joke items here and there for grown ups. They have a little bit of everything...t-shirts, pins, stickers, etc...Plus snacks! The friendly owners were onsite when we visited and were very helpful with great suggestions for our visit. It's a definite "MUST GO" kinda place!!!

B W.

Yelp
Just want to say thanks to the guys at TSJT! My wife and I picked up a great vintage poster and really enjoyed spending time in the shop. Highly recommend a visit next time you are in the area!

Danny P.

Yelp
A must stop if you are in Joshua tree . A great place to take pictures . Coolest gift shops anywhere and take a selfie with the giant muffler man statue big Josh . Great Joshua tree t-shirts for sale here

Connor G.

Yelp
God I love this place so much. The merch is all so unique and amazing as well as all the decor. It's definitely the most unique and amazing store I've ever been in. The owners were so kind and welcoming and I could not recommend it enough.

Yelp
Yelp is currently showing this place as temporarily closed, but we stopped by over the weekend and they were open. They have all the doors to the shop open so your getting a breeze while your there, they also sell a few of the items you can find inside around back. Out back they have a nice shaded area with a couple of benches. We stopped here to see Big Josh, but ended up also doing a little bit of shopping, they have cute magnets and patches, we picked up a tee shirt and some chocolate and a few drinks.
google avatar

Pelin S.

Yelp
We stop by the Station every year and always find new fun items. The selection is well curated, and the decor is really fun. We always know to count on this stop for small gifts (for ourselves and for friends!).

Yelp
What an awesome experience I had at this shop!! They have the raddest collection of vintage goods, lowbrow art (I was stoked to see BurritoBreath artwork there, he's one of my favorite artists!) books, clothing, vintage cars... you can tell they put a lot of heart into curating this collection for their customers. I was able to meet both the owners, who were absolutely hilarious - I bought a horny toad keychain, and they about had me dying with laughter... I wish all my shopping experiences were like this. Truly a gem in the desert, thank you Glen, Steve and Big Josh!! I can't wait to come back and visit again.
google avatar

S. Annette L.

Yelp
What a gem of a store! This is a special place do make sure to visit. Check out the eclectic offerings, take a picture with Big Josh, and even grab a coffee. You might even catch the owners there. They are extremely friendly, care about community and have spent a lot of time on the details of this wonderful store. Stop by and say hi to the "shop dog" Loyal, you'll be happy you did!!
google avatar

Yelp
Excuse me, but YES PLEASE! What an adorable, well stocked, lovingly created place. We drove by a couple days before and spotted the customized Paul Bunyan out front (Big Josh) and knew we'd have to make a stop before we left the area. Lots of ephemera related to the area -- the mojave, joshua tree, the desert in general. There are also tons of well curated tchotchkes -- Old bumper stickers, Big Daddy Roth inspired t-shirts, vintage posters, a few bins of records, goofy books and even tiny E.T.s in a glass case. We scooped up a few things. Throughout the shop there is a ton of gorgeous lettering and signpainting, as well as great sculptures and whatnot out back. Big thumbs up to the folks making this place a special stop with quality trinkets anyone would be happy to have in their home!
google avatar

Vanessa B.

Yelp
by far the coolest shop here in Joshua Tree and perfect spot to grab a non touristy souvenir or a gift for a friend!!
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
The owner was cool and we liked all the gifts that were for sale. Especially those vintage Bose speakers
google avatar

John O.

Yelp
Very fun place to visit in Joshua tree - lots of unique items and a super cool vibe - Worth visiting just to see all the cool Kitch stuff - it's like a vintage gallery

Kevin A.

Yelp
There's some fun vintage stuff (not for sale) on the patio, and everything inside is colorful and fun or sassy. But it's a pretty uninspiring pile of new (not vintage) t-shirts and other stuff aimed at teenage girls, and prices are high. Fun to look for 5 minutes, and move on down the road.
google avatar

Darren J.

Yelp
Great stuff and staff, curated and original vintage finds. You'll find stuff here you can't get elsewhere. This is a must stop.

Paige D.

Yelp
This place is a must stop! Big josh (the cowboy) is a great photo opt! But beyond that that owners of The Station are such nice people! We came by on a day they were actually closed, but they greeted us when we walked up, and let us look around the shop. There where so many great stuff in there! I'm usually never one to buy "souvenirs" but I loved everything in that shop! They even gave us a nice little discount, and pointed out a few other cool few to check around the area!
google avatar

S. Michelle G.

Yelp
My all-time favorite souvenir shop/boutique in the high desert! Love the "vibe", but most importantly how they treat their employees and guests! Everyone working here seems content and happy, they offer a true welcome and level of gratitude for your business that is appreciated and it's just fun to visit! Plus they have world-renowned "Josh" from my old neighborhood of the Salton Sea! They restored and repainted "Josh" -an iconic roadside attraction from Mecca,California throughout the 80's and 90's- and gave him a nice spot out front saying "howdy" to all the passing tourists. Just seeing "Josh" makes me smile every time!

Alison A.

Yelp
The best shop in the desert! One of a kind retail; vintage cars our front, a cactus garden with picnic tables and SHADE and free WIFI! Delicious hot coffee and cold drinks and the nicest group of people. Bought the best wonder valley olive oil and vintage patches
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
One of the best and ran by the best staff and couple of gents around! Original finds with a great surrounding at atmosphere. Absolutely guaranteed not to disappoint. Authenticity and genuine people is what makes it a must stop!
google avatar

Rico O.

Yelp
My company just had the great pleasure of catering at The Station and we had a great time! Located on the city's main thoroughfare it's super easy to find and in the heart of the small town. The venue is essentially a re-purposed gasoline station that's been decorated with lots of charm and care. You'll find many of bits of decorations from its automotive past while maintaining a modern event space feel. It's a perfect space for that nostalgia themed wedding reception or classic family gathering. Highly recomended.
google avatar

Jo Jo S.

Yelp
very cute gift shop, takes you back in time! the 2 guys that run the place are nice. too many cute things in the shop, wanted to buy everything. wanted to get the wonder valley olive oil, sadly they were closed. next time! just wish the cars were for sale! they are awesome! oops I meant to say there is 2 stores here...the other one is the one that sells wonder valley olive oil.
google avatar

Yelp
The coolest thing to come to Joshua tree since the Joshua trees themselves! The station is an amazing and completely one of a kind addition to downtown Joshua Tree. Aside from showcasing lots of stellar vintage items and original creations from local artists and designers, the entire space is a work of art in itself. The Station is a must see destination if you are driving through the High Desert.

Lex T.

Yelp
I love coming here! They have a ton of excellent merchandise and I find something new to love on every visit. The men who own the shop are super friendly and put on several great events throughout the year. We're lucky to have this shop in our town!
google avatar

Aldra B.

Yelp
Thanks to everyone at The Station, had a great time today participating at their Silverlake Flea event

Elissa S.

Yelp
So much cute stuff, super nice staff. Sure it's a little pricey but the prices are fair, it'd be the same anywhere else. Such a cool collection of souvenirs, vintage goods, and records. Definitely stopping by on my next trip to Joshua Tree

Corrina W.

Yelp
Neat, original printed shirts and gifts with very personable owners in a lovely open-air space.

Jacquelyn P.

Yelp
My daughter and son-in-law had their Welcome Party on October 6, the eve before their wedding, at The Station. It is a great, fun space that easily accommodated our group of 80+. We brought in tacos and margaritas, incorporated their sound system, and the party was on! It is a perfect Joshua Tree location and environment, and everybody loved it! Thank you, Glen, for all your help and making it so easy!
