Stopped off at the station on our way to the Richmond Falls, Easby Abbey, and Easby Hall what a fantastic transformation and space, cafes, cinema 🎥, micro Brewery, art, sweets shop and fitness suites. Did our walk, then on the way back, stopped off for a well-deserved cuppa and fresh scones. All together, a fantastic day out.

Brilliantly repurposed railway station. A gallery showcasing local artists, secondhand book sale, gift shop, lovely eatery and an on site cinema showing a really varied selection of films. Well worth a visit

Quiet when we arrived at about 3.40pm. We were shown to our table. We just wanted tea, coffee and scone and tray bake. All very nice. Lovely historic location. Nice gallery of artwork. Cinema in same building. Swimming pool adjacent and lovely walks. Maximum stay in car park is 4 hours, recent price increase. Internal photo and some of Easby Abbey which is a walk away.

Another great visit to the Station Cinema. Book tickets online with ease. Good seats selected. Screen 3 , small but perfect surroundings and quality viewing experience. Will definitely return. Thanks again

A beautiful vintage-restored place, Includes a cinema, a large café, an open art gallery, independent art and gift shops, a very good (and expensive) bakery and a chocolate shop. There is a book corner and a few comfy chairs righr nextcto it and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Also, there are public toilets, a lot of parking and a famous ice cream shop. It's within a short walking distance to the town centre, so it's a good parking option (£3 for 4 hours!) on a visit to Richmond. You can take a walking trail some of them start here), enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river Swale, climb up to the town centre (300 meters away), have lunch and then climb down to the carpark, buy a beautiful piece of arr/craft made by a local artist (very reasonable prices) and return home. A perfect day!

Went into the station for lunch, 1st time going in to eat but pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. We ordered egg/mayo sandwich, and expected it to come on small plate but it came with side salad and crisps ,our coffee was a treat far better than any other coffee shops. Went for a walk along side river swale underneath the canopy of trees

Phoned a head booked table very polite staff on phone so started well. Good one way system. Very clean tidy social distancing fab ordered food. Only had sandwich and tea but arrived in good time. I very much enjoyed vegetable crisps husband wasn't a fan but could have had chips instead. Food was lovely. Well maintained place. Obviously with covid not all areas open but definitely recommend and will visit again. Staff were very professional relaxed and made you feel comfortable. Definitely worth visiting. Wish we lived closer to go more often.

Great cafe in the old station, lovely ambience, nice coffee and sandwich. Dog seating area a little small as had to wait for a table, lots of dog free tables available in the main seating area. There's also a cinema, gift shop and gallery.

Yelp
An Arts center in an old station- we stopped for tea and lunch. A fairly unimaginative and mediocre menu. Pablo had egg mayo sandwich, more bread than egg. A side of "potato skins" drowned in well I'm not sure what, made for a sloppy mess. My tomato tart with goat cheese was more goat cheese and pastry than tomato, the accompanying new potatoes were delicious. Not worth the walk unless going to the Cinema.

Yelp
Recently had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Lovely surroundings, clean and great service. Good coffee and great eggs. What more can one ask for...

Yelp
The rennovation of the old Station in Richmond is complete and what a grat job they've done! The town now has it's own cinema alongside a small museum describing the branch trainline which used to run from the main eastcoast route to the dales town of Richmond. Also incuded in the site is a restaurant, art gallery and various small workshop units where business can be based. Whilst we were ther ethey gallery was showing black and white photos of when the station was in use, a very long way from when I remember it being a garden centre!

Yelp
Brilliant restoration of the original train station - great use of the space and lovely that they have left some of the old memorabilia so the building feels familiar. There is a small cinema (3 screens) which host both main stream and creative films in both the day and evening. The main forecourt as you enter (which used to be the railway tracks) has been controverted into an open plan restaurant/cafe serving light bites and main meals along with local beers and wine available. Oh and did i mention the cake selection!? Off either side of the main area are a selection of boutique local producers, cheese, toffee and beer being a few of the delights you can sample. Well worth a pit stop if you are passing through.

Yelp
This is the place I go for movies. I never go to catterick and this is always a main place to meet in Richmond. The food here is great and there is always a wide range of good movies for anyday of the week

Yelp
Lovely building, would definately like to go back and walk along the old train tracks. Cafe is a great and relatively cheap stop to have some lunch. Some nice little shops along the corridor although they could be signposted better form the entrance. We paid around £14 for a mix of side orders and coffees for 2 adults and one child
