We stayed at Mount Somers Village over the weekend and had breakfast here twice. I felt sorry for the girls on the first day because they were understaffed on what seemed to be their busiest day of the year. The food and coffee were still good. Service was much faster on the second day we went. There is also a nice shop for keepsakes and an area with toys for kids to play with. Overall a must-stop ☺️

The cafe has a charming ambience that really captures the local flavour, making it a pleasant place to dine. The staff were very welcoming and added to the overall positive experience. For my meal, I opted for the soup of the day, which was a comforting choice that differed from the usual fare. The curried pumpkin filo was a standout dish. The bacon and egg buttie also stood out as a unique item, blending the classic combination of bacon and egg with its own local flair. Overall, trying these local specialities was a highlight, offering a taste of something new and distinctive compared to what I have back home.

Cabinet food pretty good, ordered from the menu pizza was low grade toppings and sparse drizzling of ham chunks and 5 bits of salami. Could have been way better with a little more effort. Small slice of carrot cake compared to other visits for the price. Caesar salad very average. Good service though

Gorgeous little country cafe - great selection of food catering to carnivores, vegans and allergy folks equally. A real charmer - do stop in and enjoy.

Amazing spot well worth a visit. Counter food only, but of a high standard. Excellent coffee. Welcoming atmosphere and a wide choice of seating areas to suit time of day and weather. Added bonus of gift store and artworks for sale.

Yelp
Very friendly and pleasant place for breakfast. I had the lemon muffin and the mocha, both of which were lovely. My friend said the latte and the bacon and egg buttie were also good. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice place to stop, have a cup, and plan for the day ahead. (The restroom is also spotless -- bonus points!)
