The Stellenbosch Hotel

My home away from home numerous times. Rooms, breakfast, cleanliness, service, location all excellent. The hotel staff are always ready to assist. Felt disappointed when it was time to leave but will return for another visit in Summer

I had such a nice cozy experience in this hotel. Booked a petite room but it was not too petite. It was very comfortable with all the needed amenities. The bed was very comfy and the shower great. The location is perfect in the middle of the cute streets with boutiques and cafes. What mostly impressed me was the superfriendly staff. Always at your service.

The front of house staff is pretty amazing. Rooms are very average but clean. The only complaint has to be the managers attitude. I had to check in 3hours later due to a power outage and she did not even feel it ok to offer any form of compensation or when I addressed it just shrugged it off. Very unapologetic and that is very disappointing for a leader who should try and keep guests happy. Reception and Porter staff where exceptional though.

This hotel is in the perfect location, shops, bars, restaurants right on your doorstep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Love a historic hotel, adds lovely character. Breakfast was great. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

It's an excellent hotel. The Stellenbosch kitchen makes really good food, and the staff are always ready to cater to your every need. Unfortunately the parking is a bit fiddly, and there is no pool, but that doesn't matter considering the prime location :)

The service was exceptionally great, the surroundings are clean and the staff is friendly. My family and I were happy with the overall experience. Well done to you

Cute and cozy room||Very friendly and helpful staff; nice complimentary breakfast||I only give a 4 as the note in the room claimed a 10% discount of meals in the restaurant, which turned out not to be.

Lots of history, calm and friendly ambience. Very clean room but, outside a bit noisy and chaotic with tight spaces for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The history more than makes up for the space challenge.
