The Sterling Boutique Hotel Melaka

Had a good time went there on Thursday 3/7. The counter guy is so helpful! He helped me with the luggage once he saw me struggling cos I was traveling with my old parents. Credit to the guy! The room kinda gloomy once I came in, I think maybe you can leave the white curtain on instead of the blank curtain cos I felt like entering a haunted house. The room size was big and the king + single bed are comfy. Toilet also very big and spacious. Location wise, parking is not a big deal. Also walking distance to the river area! I would rather stay here than river area. Its so near yet you wont have noise pollution. If you love chill place while still enjoying the Melaka attractions at short walking distance, this is the place! Love the building too!

This was my second time staying at The Sterling Boutique Hotel. The staff here are friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that the male front desk staff still remembered me from my last visit, which was about one and a half months ago. On the night I returned to the hotel during a heavy storm, the night shift staff was incredibly thoughtful—he waited for me with an umbrella to make sure I didn’t get soaked. Kudos to both front desk staff members for their excellent service! I stayed in Room 123 and was very satisfied. The jacuzzi was a nice touch and worked perfectly. Overall, this stay was just as great as the last, and I will definitely return again.

Amazing hotel. The room size and amenities easily make up for it's RM300 price tag. It comes with a jacuzzi, couch, king bed, adjustable TV stand and much more. Really recommend this hotel to any people who go to Melaka for holiday.

This is my second time staying in Sterling. Location wise, it is absolutely convenient as it is walking distance to Jonker Street. It has a big private carpark if you are driving also. The room that I booked was big too, there were 2 doubles and 1 single, enough for 3 adults and 2 children. Other than that, there is nothing much more to rave about this hotel. The toiletries amenities are the bare minimum. There are no facilities that I know of. And this time round, the pillows given seems really really soft. I would probably only choose to stay here if I have to lay over for a night before heading somewhere else again, if I had to stay a few nights in Melaka, then probably this hotel would not be my choice

We booked 2 superior double rooms on 19- 21 March 2025. We stayed at level 2 (highest floor). Location : The hotel is located conveniently about 5 mins walk from the Jonkers street. Amenities: The room is equipped with basic hotel items such as bathroom towel, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste set, refrigerator, hairdryer, bedroom slipper. Very spacious shower area. It does not come with face towel so bring yours if you need it. Only 2 hangers given, but okay with us. The aircon had some vibration sound. We called the front desk and they quickly responded by sending someone up to check on the aircon. Parking: The hotel provides complimentary parking lots and there were plenty of lots in there. Checkout was fast. Generally pleased with the price we paid. May book again.

Good customer service: listen to our queries and address accordingly. There is an uncle who were helpfu and friendly.Room is spacious for 3 pax. Hangers are kind of half spoilt.The shortfall: bathroom cleaniness needs to improve as there were dark spot. water pressure is weak. basin water tap water power not easy to control the volume.

The only good things about this place were its facade, carpark, location, water dispensers, and select staff (friendly and helpful night uncle). Beautiful facade but poorly maintained inside. And we were in a suite. Bathroom was terribly maintained, showerhead was loose and the design of the shower stall caused water to flow out to the rest of the floor. Borrowed an umbrella from the hotel, had to sign out for them and unlocked, so it must be special. Even the umbrella was not maintained and couldn’t even be closed properly as the Velcro was torn. Yes so it deserved to be locked up. Breakfast was SAD much, and supposedly about RM33 per head. I’ve had better bfast spreads at backpacker motels. Coffee was watered down, no egg station, cooked food was cold. No staff manning the area. Maybe the staff themselves dislike being in that hotel..

The room was clean and tidy, which made for a comfortable stay. The jacuzzi was a great feature and worked perfectly — very relaxing! However, the air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, which made the room a bit warm at times. With that improvement, it would have been an excellent stay.
