The Strand at Lincoln Center

Nice bookstore with a good variety of books. The staff is nice and helpful. Books are fairly priced. They have used books outside for cheap. They also have a cafe but did not try it. Definitely give them a visit!

Horrible, racist and not welcoming at all. My girls have been wanting to stop by this strand location, since their favorite one is the Columbus street one. Upon entering you instantly feel the rudeness of the sales associates, not welcoming at all. When I went to pay the cashier just stared at me and then proceeded to over charge me, good thing I asked for my receipt and was able to tell her and get it fixed. Definitely not a staple in the neighborhood.

When I contacted The Strand at Lincoln Centre about Certainly not a Celebrity they went out of their way in finding the Publishers and getting the book for me, their empathy and understanding was truly marvellous.

Very nice , clean, well stocked. I do tend to prefer old dusty bookshops, lol, which is funny to say, is there any dusty bookshops in NY! 😃
