Stopped in for a quick bite while doing part of the "Ring Of Kerry". Car park for a dozen cars by the side of the road, and a moderately steep ramp up to the garden and front door. Seating outside at about 5 tables seating 4 each, while inside there are two rooms with tables for 2 to 8+ diners. Seating is comfortable, and table water was provided free of charge which was a very nice touch.
Staff member was polite and explained the soup of the day to us, and took our order quickly and efficiently, and we were soon tucking into soup course, followed by a very tasty sweet pancake each.
Prices were very reasonable, especially for somewhere in such a tourist trap area, with the three of us eating for €35 (Sep 2022).
Cleanliness was very good, food was fresh and very well presented, though we all felt the soup could have been a bit hotter - but we were there late in the day. Toilets were available, with both male and female available. The only downside here is that the toilets are up several steps so not accessible for a wheelchair user, and those with mobility issues may struggle a little. There's not a lot the owners can do here though, given the nature of the buildings and the conversion from old cottages.
In general though, a very pleasant experience, and a great stop in the area. In high season this place will be very busy, and you can expect some difficulty getting in - but off season it's a good place to stop for some freshly prepared and tasty food.
