The Street Milano Duomo (Milan, Lombardy) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Milan isn’t just the center of modern Italian fashion and design — it’s also home to the Gothic marvel that is the Duomo di Milano, or Milan Cathedral. Both of these sides of the city’s character are represented in this hotel: The Street Milano Duomo stands quite literally right around the corner from the spectacular church, and while its interiors are adorned with large-scale images of the cathedral and historical Milan, they’re otherwise decorated in a colorful, contemporary style that pays liberal tribute to the Italian designers of the modern era." - Tablet Hotels

A wonderful stay at a really excellent hotel. It’s in a terrific city centre location, so close to the Duomo, but inside the hotel itself and the room it’s very quiet and a peaceful haven from the bustle and business of the streets. ||Amira is an outstanding host, and consistently provided such a friendly, warm welcome, and immediate assistance whenever asked. ||The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean, surprisingly large and very comfortable. The bed was perfect, as was the shower / bathroom. The balcony area looking out on to the courtyard is delightful, and again a surprise to find in a hotel of this size. You really feel like you’re staying in a plush out-of-town hotel once you’re through the front entrance. Everything about the hotel and its staff is top quality: I really hope to be lucky enough to stay here again.

My husband and I spent the last two nights of our vacation in France and Italy at The Street Milano Duomo Hotel, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. This boutique hotel is beautifully decorated in a modern, contemporary style and offers outstanding service.||The ladies at the reception were especially helpful — they gave us great directions and tips for exploring the historic center. The location truly couldn’t be better: just steps away from the Duomo, which is absolutely breathtaking and the perfect starting point for touring Milan. Most of the city’s main sights are within walking distance, which we really appreciated.||Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a king-size bed, a desk, and a cozy seating area. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was also a highlight — a pleasant and relaxing way to start the day.||The only two small downsides we noticed were that the furniture and bathroom fittings are starting to show a bit of wear, and we unexpectedly ran out of hot water one morning after a longer shower. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to be aware of, as we were told that unlike most hotels, hot water is limited.||Overall, we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for its unbeatable location, great service, and comfortable rooms. It’s an ideal choice for anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Milan.

The location of this hotel was excellent. All the landmarks to visit in Milan were within walking distance. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We were given a glass of prosecco on arrival after they picked us up from the airport. They sent us a list of restaurant recommendations ahead of time and even offered to make them for us if necessary. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was large, clean, huge bed with many amenities. |The bedroom was larger than most European rooms. The bed was a double on the reservation. It was one bed not two beds put together and at least a queen size. It didn’t have a dedicated closet but a rack in the room. The shower was large compared to most European hotels. Amenities included toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, coffee, tea, water shaving kit and a scale in the bathroom. The elevator was small but they have one. |The hotel is located steps from the duomo. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Metro station is close by as well. You need to ring in every time you enter the hotel, which can seem as an inconvenience but it adds to security. |My room faced the pedestrian street and I only heard noise once. The room had Netflix which was great to have something in English to watch. |Only negative I can say was that the cabinet in the bathroom has seen better days and the mirror has rust stains, nothing major. |Had a lovely time.

A very bad experience!! Our recent stay at The Street Milano Duomo, from October 24 to 27, 2025, in Room 402 (4th floor). The average nightly rate for this stay was €528.33 per night. We've book directly from the hotel's website months ahead; but until the second day after our check in, which is Saturday, October 25, at 5:19 PM, the hotel notified us via WhatsApp that there would be a private event on the 5th-floor terrace that same evening. We immediately expressed our concern, explaining that we were traveling and needed rest, and requested that the event end no later than 10:00 PM. We also pointed out that notifying guests only a few hours before such an event was unacceptable, as it left us no possibility to modify our stay or make other arrangements. However, the party continued until after midnight; a lot of teenagers showing and the loud music and voices did not stop until around 1:00 AM. We reported the situation to the front desk staff, but they stated they were unable to take any action because the event had been authorized by the hotel manager, Julia. Afterward, we requested to speak directly with the manager, but she ignored our request and showing no remorse. This hotel is fail to ensure a quiet and restful environment, and I consider the behavior of the manager Julia is unprofessional and unfair to guests. They do have a very good location but the management is just want to make money and ignore customer's basic welfare and with a bad attitude. Think again before you made the reservation and cancel the order if you can!!

The Street Milano Duomo is a great hotel, conveniently located by the Duomo and Galleria. The rooms are large and clean, decorated in a very modern, colorful style. The staff are helpful and friendly. ||My only suggestion is that they consider adding more lighting to the interior rooms. We booked two rooms for my family. One had external facing windows and was bright, the other faced the interior of the building and it was fairly dark. That’s not a big deal, especially since we spent most of our time in the hotel sleeping. ||We took great advantage of the location and I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near the Duomo.

A real gem of the hotel is the staff - friendly, proactive, helpful and effective. ||We were offered a room upgrade for an additional small price. Our room was clean, spacious, light and nicely decorated, but we would like more shelves and drawers to put our stuff, both in the room and in the bathroom. The area around the sink would be more convenient if the accessories provided by the hotel were put at a separate case or box instead of being scattered around.||The location of the hotel is ideal. Everything we wanted to see was at a very short walking distance.||The terrace where breakfast is served is very nice and has a beautiful view. We liked the format of the breakfast: you fill in the form one day in advance with what you choose to eat and when you want the breakfast to be served. Everything was delicious, especially the bio bread. The coffee is just ok, it could be better.

The hotel's hot water temperature fluctuates wildly, and the crazy jacuzzi would suddenly start on its own (this happened twice). But what's most infuriating is that they rent out the 5th-floor rooftop on weekends to make money, then deliberately only notify all guests on the day of the event that there would be a party upstairs that night, claiming the music would stop before midnight. But it didn't! A group of young people (some even looked under 18) were having an 18th birthday party on the 5th floor (just above us) drinking, shouting, laughing, and playing deafening music. The bass sound was severely disruptive, and the party went on until 1 a.m. I was sick but couldn't rest or sleep. Repeated complaints to the front desk were ineffective. It's said that the hotel manager, Julia, instructed staff to notify guests only at the latest possible time, leaving them no time to cancel their reservations. The hotel management disregards customer rights for profit and is arrogant. When we asked to speak directly with the manager immediately, they claimed the manager was on weekend leave and wouldn't be back until Monday, and the time was uncertain, only agreeing to give us free breakfast. This is not the kind of treatment we expect for a night rest and the high costing is €574. Manager Julia showed no sincerity. We had to save ourselves by recording the video to record how noisy that night. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to communicate, we requested to refund that night’s payment €574 or we would file a complaint with the relevant authorities. Manager Julia accused us of extortion! We didn't see Julia come to communicate with us until we checked out at 10 AM on Monday. Please notice!!!!!! DO NOT book this hotel unless you willing to pay the high price and you can enjoy the noise
