In Defense of Las Vegas and Other Maligned Destinations

"I found the Vegas Strip to be a shitshow of people gambling, getting drunk and being obnoxious or generally weird, with everything feeling fake, expensive and designed to get you to spend money at casinos and overpriced restaurants." - Matthew Kepnes

We were in there as soon as they opened. 2nd people there and took over 30 in to get our meal, waitress was slow. First batch of fries weren't very hot, 2nd batch were hot. Overall food was good

I remember some years ago when the strip received its modern renovation with updated storefronts and roadside banners and the bone fish grille was built. It's nice to be able to pop in.Get sam's club gas and panera.

Can be kind of stressful when traffic is busy and backed up. If you’re not familiar with the location and the area, it could become a bit confusing trying to navigate. Other than the traffic it’s a decent area with a variety of shopping options. Usually higher prices and are more likely to Run into a crown

Wonderful clean shopping experience it's very nice at the strip easy to get to right off the highway can't miss it. Lowe's Michaels Books-A-Million all kinds of stuff Walmart right there all kinds of good restaurants Charlie's cheesesteaks pretty good Chuck-E-Cheese for the little ones. The whole Belden Village area is pretty nice really what are the best shopping areas around I think it's better than anything in Akron in right by the Pro Football Hall of Fame so that's nice

The Strip has a lot of different stores and restaurants to visit. The stores seem pretty safe, but the parking light can sometimes feel a little sketchy.

The Strip has gone downhill hard and fast over the 8yrs Ive been in the area. It used to be really upscale, and now its looking more and more like the east side of Cleveland... not thrilled with how no one seems to want to do the upkeep!
