We visited Studio Kitchen for Brunch and enjoyed the Brussel sprout hash, eggs, Benedict, avocado, toast, shrimp and grits and chocolate chip pancake. The food was delicious, however the service was sub-par. Unfortunately, we waited around 30 minutes for our drinks to be served and a total of 45 minutes until we were asked for our entrée orders. This would be understandable if it was busy however, there was many tables open and many weight staff working in their sections. We saw who we thought was the floor manager, walked by quite a few times, surprised to not notice our empty table over and over again with each passing by. Overall, the food was good and the vibes were on point, but we did not feel taken care of nor did it feel worth the money to experience brunch here due to the service.

Had a wonderful evening at Studio Kitchen and Cocktails. Despite being a little short-staffed, the service was kind and attentive. They checked in without ever making me feel rushed. The venue is cool with comfortable little tables and neat art pieces on the wall. The food was impeccable and came in good portions. I tried the spicy tuna with crispy rice and the sourdough bread, but everything on the menu sounded delicious. They offer a range of cocktails and provide tasting notes so you can gauge how adventurous you feel. My very first experience of Malort went well!! Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back when next in town.

First time having dinner here. From making the reservation to paying for our meal was all top notch! The lady when we called that took our reservation was very pleasant on the phone, when we checked in she was also the one that took our reservation, best of all when we left she acknowledged me by name, small detail but huge impact. As for the food and service, our waitress was Ashlyn, she was also very pleasant. Service was great, timing between courses was on point. Again small detail but so many restaurants ignore this, it's not great getting your appetizer and then 5 minutes later getting your meal. She nailed the timing. Food we have sourdough bread basket, baked goat cheese, California roll, short rib, crispy salmon. Dessert was bread pudding and chocolate moose. There was not a bad thing, it was all fantastic from presentation to taste. The baked goat cheese was a stand out if I had to pick one. I don't frequent the same restaurant often as I love trying new places but this makes my top few for repeats and high recommendations to others. Praise to the chefs as well!

Wow! We went on a whim and stopped by ARIA for breakfast with my husband’s family. We ordered plain french toasts, shrimp and grits, and chicken & waffles. Nita was our lovely server. The Creole shrimp and grits were rich, comforting, and full of bold flavor. Tender shrimp sat atop a bed of creamy, perfectly cooked grits, topped with sautéed onions and tomatoes that added a savory depth. The cherry tomatoes were cooked just right—bursting with sweetness and adding a fresh contrast. Everything was brought together with a silky sauce that tasted like a buttery chicken broth, giving the dish a warm, hearty finish. It was the kind of meal that hits every note—savory, slightly sweet, and satisfyingly indulgent. I tried my husband’s chicken and waffles. chicken and waffles hit all the right notes—crispy, juicy, and indulgent. The chicken was golden and crunchy on the outside, yet tender and well-seasoned inside, with just the right amount of spice. The waffle was soft and fluffy with a slight crisp on the edges, making it the perfect base. A drizzle of syrup tied it all together with a sweet-savory balance that’s hard to beat. It’s classic comfort food done right, and definitely worth coming back for. Overall, great experience.

My wife and I spent the night at Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel and came down for brunch at The Studio – Kitchen & Cocktails—and it did not disappoint. We ordered the crab Benedict and the overnight oats. The Benedict was outstanding—packed with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell real care goes into the food. Huge shoutout to Sal and Mario in the kitchen for an amazing meal, and to Jared, our server, for top-notch service. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for brunch if you’re staying at the hotel or just in the area. We’ll definitely be back.

Went for christmas dinner, overall very good food. Ribeye Steak was was perfect, mashed potatoes were excellent as well. Desert was great to. Only thing I didn't like was the steak was just a steak and you had to purchase sides if you wanted them. Should at least have a few default sides to come with the main entree. Service was adequate but not great for not being overly busy.

Google
The service was exceptional. Mara was very attentive and patient. We have been here several times and there was never any issues with the service!! However we did have to send our food back due to the quality. Apparently since the new rebrand to Aria the food has changed. The grits are too spicy and totally different from the previous times. Let’s just say the sauce is totally different. The chicken and waffle is not the same. No more biscuits and gravy 🙁. I would consider coming back again if the menu is changed back or something else. The service and atmosphere is amazing. Love the mimosas are unlimited.

The new menu here is fantastic. The sushi options are wonderful and the whole menu offers something for everyone! The Spicy Tuna with Crispy Rice was a very unqiue spin on a classic dish and we loved it. The chicken was wonderful as well. We cannot wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
A high end dinner place within the hotel, serving a menagerie of food for all tastes like sushi, steak, pasta, fish, and even a burger. Made reservations before seeing the Nutcracker at the arts center across the street for dinner, very conveniently located. The space is divided into two rooms, one is a moody lounge and the other a dimly lit dining area. We sat down and ordered drinks and appetizers, the espresso martini really hit the spot! They provided carafes of water for the table that were refilled on request. My family got an assortment of entrees. The steaks were reportedly really good, and the fries had a delicious seasoning to them that really made them delicious (i may have stolen a few off my loving family's plates)! The pasta i heard was pretty salty, which i felt also applied to the sea bass. Really delicious, but definitely over-salted. The wait staff was kind and very formal, but i felt they were a little spread thin between the tables and couldnt attend to everyone quickly. Hiring more waiters might be good for guests and staff alike! Pricey food, but overall a pleasant time.

Yelp
Review is for brunch - overall the food was pretty good for a hotel restuarant, I had a Denver omelet and my friend had the chicken and waffle. The service was so weird though...our waitress wasn't the most attentive but others we flagged down were great. She came by only once after taking our order, we had to flag down others for refills and they were all great. Then we provided two cards to split the check and she just charged one card and brought out a duplicate receipt without saying anything. It was confusing. We attempted to track her down to confirm we weren't both charged, but she never came back out afterwards, so we ended up just settling ourselves later. Totally fine if they couldn't split the check, but that seems like an easy thing to let customers know.

Yelp
The Studio is a lovely little spot inside the Saint Kate serving up delicious food and beautiful cocktails in a chic and modern dining room. I've been here on a couple of occasions now--it's particularly convenient if you're seeing a show at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater as you can get to the theater without leaving the building (the Saint Kate has a door that will take you there). Given our most recent experience was during a cold snap (sub zero temperatures), we appreciated this fact very much. Their specialty cocktail menu leans toward vodka cocktails and we lean toward whiskey, so we ordered a Manhattan, served up, and made with Woodford double oaked bourbon. It was a delight. For our starter, we got their baked goat cheese which comes with a savory tomato jam which pairs perfectly with the sharp and tangy chevre. It's served with crispy sourdough--no notes! We loved this dish. For my entree, I went full girl dinner style with their caesar salad and french fries. The caesar was lightly dressed in the best way possible. It was crispy, fresh, flavorful, and had just the right amount of parmesan shavings to add that little bit of sharp cheesiness. The fries are shoestring, which typically isn't my favorite. But, they are so well seasoned and served with a creamy garlic aioli that completely made up for any complaints I'd have made on their style. The service when we've been in has been kind and attentive. One of the times we were in, our server kindly asked if we were seeing a show. When we informed him that we were and the time of the show, he assured us that he'd get us out in plenty of time (and they did!). Hotel restaurants aren't always also destination restaurants (more convenient spots for those staying there to grab a bite) but this one assuredly is. Get to it!

Yelp
Very cool spot to hang out and get a drink/app/sushi before a game or night out. Prefer the downstairs and upstairs lounge areas more than the formal restaurant. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Drinks were solid. Water glasses were always full. Service was kind but a little hit or miss with several people asking for their checks or other items after waiting. Will definitely return - love all of Saint Kate!

Yelp
Aria is an absolute delight: great food, classy ambience and top-notch service. My family came to celebrate two birthdays (mom and cousin) and our server Nicole treated us all like VIPs. The deviled eggs were a playful start, along with rich and creamy burrata. The house-made pasta is extra special

Yelp
So... full disclosure - I am generally not a fan of hotel restaurants. They have a captive audience and do not try hard. My wife and I were going to a show at The Rep and were looking for a place to go beforehand. We said "let's try something at St Kate's" and made a reservation at the Studio. Food and service were great! We ordered some shareables and wine and everything was done well. Kaci (I think) provided attentive service.
