Hmmm,,,,,, I think it always starts with the service ; - )
Fun, professional, and forever mindful of the gems the kitchen serves.
Four of us - started with the pacific oysters = flavorful gems - a wonderful precursor to the scollops, and then the mains = evenly split between tooth fish and incredibly tender steak fillets.
Finished with all the deserts, coffee and port.
Superb lunch !
The only gripe I had was of my own making. I selected a 2015 penfolds Shiraz, but asked the sommelier if he had a superior wine in mind….. he did and it was very disappointing….. hmmmm….. make your choice and stick to it…. Here’s his pick…
