Rude, rude, rude. My sister, her boyfriend, and my brother-in-law, who is an owner at Masthope, were waiting for a table in the bar while the rest of us were coming into the restaurant. Bil was told, by the manager, that he had to order food to use a hightop in the bar, no problem, so they were going to order nachos but no waitress ever showed up to take a food order. When we had all arrived, I inquired about a waitress to take our order. The hostess with the short dark hair and glasses, came over with a mega attitude, saying that you have to be seated by the hostess to use the table and order food. Well, my brother in law explains that he was told that he just needed to order food to use the table, she got an attitude with him instead of explaining the misunderstanding. She got very rude and asked us where our menus were and when we tried to explain what we were told by the manager, she got very indignant and told us she would not serve us. My sister went and tried to speak with her, but she was also rude to her, complaining that people have been giving her an attitude. Not our problem. She walked away and then my sister spoke to the manager who the seated us. We have also had problems recently as last night making to-go orders, being rudely told that the order would take a long time and actively trying to dissuade us from ordering. Bartenders and servers are excellent, hardworking, nice, and attentive. But the hostess is RUDE RUDE RUDE. There are many other excellent restaurants in the area who actually appreciate their customers.
