The Sunset Cove And Rainbow Room

Excellent in every way. I stayed in room #7. It opens to a hotel pool, lounge area, and a view of the sunset over the ocean. Hot water, clean, coffee maker in spacious room. Breakfast. No roosters waking you up at 3 AM. Very quiet. Great host & hostess. By far, the best value I found for the week I was visiting this island.

Our stay at The Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room left much to be desired. We arrived just at the end of the check-in hours, which close at 5 PM, only to find that the restaurant was closed for dinner. This was disappointing, especially since they don’t offer breakfast before 8 AM or even a to-go box. There were no snacks or food options available on the property or nearby, and the closest grocery store or restaurant was a 10-15 minute car ride away. The rooms are very outdated, with many things falling apart, clearly in desperate need of renovation. Unfortunately, our room was also dirty, and we even found worms on the floor in the morning. Despite these issues, the AC worked fine, and there was coffee and tea provided in the room. The beach is a 15-minute walk from the property, which was another downside considering the limited amenities on-site. For what it offers, The Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room is very overpriced. There are far nicer hotels with more amenities and closer proximity to the beach available at the same or even lower price.

One of the larger restaurants I’ve seen on the island. Picturesque views, delicious cocktails (including frozen drinks), great service, and an expansive menu, including scratch-made wood fire pizza. We had the coconut shrimp as an appetizer, and it was so good! Screened in patio along with indoor seating. Could easily accommodate a large party of 10-12.

Stayed in bungalow 7 directly overlooking the pool! Very clean, basic room. The pool area was amazing, in a garden setting with palm trees and a view of the water. I stayed here as I had no power at my house for 5 nights. Andrea and Stephanie were very helpful. Andrea went so far as to offer me a ride to North Eleuthera to pick up my car which I had to abandon with the Glass Window Bridge closing during a rage. Great veggie pizza in the restaurant :)

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Sunset Cove two weeks ago. We each had our own room overlooking the beautiful garden, the pool, and the ever so gorgeous sunset!!!🌅🥰||Stephanie and her husband Andrea (pronounced Andrèa in Italian), the hotel managers were the most gracious hosts. They made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Further, Stephanie took us for an impromptu tour of the northern part of the island. Such an unexpected treat!!🙏🏻❤️🥰||The porch area in the restaurant, The Rainbow Room has breathtaking views of the Rainbow Bay and the sunset. The Rainbow Room is "the place where everybody knows your name"!!! It's the locals' favorite as well as the visitors'. Ms. Lavelle who was managing the restaurant with her grace and charm, Mr. Johnson who was spoiling us with his generous pours, RJ who was waiting on us with his welcoming smile, and George who was attentively handling the wood fire oven and making the best pizzas, remembered our names, and greeted us with their genuine smiles every time.🥰||Their food is delicious and the service is exceptional!!! They have a wood fire pizza oven shipped directly from Italy, so you can imagine how wonderful their pizzas are. We had their Lobster Truffle Pizza which was scrumptious!!!😋😋||At our request, they made us Bahamian Chicken Souse the next day as we wanted to try authentic Bahamian food. Yummy and very filling!!!||The location is perfect as it is on the main Queen's Hwy, and centrally located to all the main attractions that this beautiful island has to offer. Short drive to sandy beaches, Glass Window Bridge, Hatchet Bay Caves, Sapphire Blue Hole, and so much more.||And above all, Sunset Cove is a secluded escape with the perfect balance of charm and beauty. It is a magical oasis to ponder, reflect and reset. In fact, we love this little piece of paradise so much, that we have considered it to be our next destination for a yoga retreat!!!🙏🏻💕🧘🏻‍♀️ Stay tune.....||

The place is really cozy and nice. We loved the people and the owner Andrea and his wife were wonderful, bar tender and servers were also wonderful, we really enjoyed our stay. The Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room is absolutely fantastic! Stephanie and Andrea are doing a very good job running this hotel. I stayed two nights for business, and will definitely be back again later bringing my family. The rooms are not luxury, but nice and very clean. The location is great, could walk out of my door directly to a nice clean pool. The nearest beach was 5 minutes’ walk away, and the rainbow beach around 20 minutes of walking distance. I borrowed snorkeling gear from the hotel, and saw lots of fish on both beaches in the crystal clear Caribbean water. Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner was absolutely deliciously. their Pizza was most likely one of the best pizza i ever had! Stephanie did a good job serving local delicious fruit like pineapple, coconut and more. I have been travelled around in Caribbean over the last twenty years. visited many different islands, and honestly I never been a big fan of Caribbean (always favorized Hawaii) But this trip to Eleuthero completely changed my opinion about Bahamas/Caribbean. This island, the hotel. and all the people I met during my stay, was just amazing.

Went for lunch and met Lavelle who welcomed us and showed us to a table on the patio. On arrival we noticed how lovely and clean everything was. Lavelle presented us with a menu and told us what was on for lunch. We ordered the grilled snapper on a freshly baked brioche roll with home fries. I can honestly say that it was the best fish sandwich I have ever had. The home fries were also delicious. Lavelle was friendly and informative and showed us an amazing album put together by the owner of some|of the spectacular beaches and sites in Eleuthera. I have ordered 2 copies. We will definitely be back to sample more of the delicious items on the menu. We highly recommend Sunset Cove.
