The Surin Phuket

We had an incredible experience here. Our friends got married here and it was a great chance to see the service for an event like that. Food was delicious and top quality. Drinks were well made (at the wedding and also poolside bar). The breakfast had many options, definitely 5star worthy. It was intimidating to see the stairs to the rooms at first but after a few days, you get used to it. Although rooms were higher up on the hill from the beach, the view is spectacular. The rooms were clean and service for housekeeping were quick and efficient. The beach felt so private and quiet. They maintain it well as it was very clean. Plenty of beach beds and lounge chairs. Would happily come back!

One of my best friends got married at the Surin and wow - it was a fairytale wedding! The location is incredible , very accessible with a motobike or cars. The hotel itself has everything you need so you could decide to never leave 😂 the rooms / villas are very private giving you lots of intimacy and they were so spacious even for the most basic one! The breakfast buffet and food more generally was outstanding - lots of offerings for everyone The pool is great and big enough but the best part is the private beach! The water is pristine and so calming The staff was 100000/10! I’d 1000% go back :)

Having travelled around Thailand for the past 20 years, I have experienced good & bad. This hotel is definitely up there with the good. Probably best beach I have experienced in Thailand. Love the idea that when you pick a sunbed round the pool or beach its yours for the whole stay. However I would say we upgraded our room to a Beachfront suite, the view is stunning but the room was quite small for what it costs.|Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Other than these two points a beautiful hotel.

The Surin sits on an incredible, pristine beach shared with just one other hotel, easily one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Rooms are spread organically through the hillside, almost like elegant treehouses, with a simple, pleasant design, extremely comfortable beds and lovely views over the bay. The pool is just steps from the shore, and both the beach bar and the two restaurants offer great food in atmospheres ranging from casual to more refined. Breakfast is generous and delicious. Staff are exceptionally kind and the service is flawless. The only downside is that some rooms require long walks and many stairs. We were lucky to be moved close to the beach, but the first room offered was far too high and difficult to reach. Overall, The Surin is hard to beat. Its location and its extraordinary beach make it truly unique.

We returned to Phuket after a 25 year gap and now wonder what took us so long to go back! The Surin appealed with its individual cottage accommodation and private beach and while it is top end of the price range there is a reason for that. The breakfast buffet and a la carte menu offered a huge amount of choice , and we ate at the pool restaurant and Beach restaurant and both were excellent. We do enjoy eating locally too and would recommend the Audy and the Butterfly restaurants. Audy is a short stroll away and Butterfly a short taxi journey. Both were amazing value, the food delicious, and the ambience buzzing, with music at the Audy. |So many reviews highlight the team at The Surin and they really are exceptional. The management team are visible but not intrusive and are very receptive to customer feedback. We appreciated the time Boris , the F& B Director and Andrew, the EAM took to chat with us during our stay and I must mention Da Da who always made us smile with her warmth and smiles at breakfast. |There was a private party during our stay and the Beach restaurant was closed that evening. We were not affected by any noise and enjoyed the firework display from our accommodation. The steps were not an issue and is something clearly mentioned on the website. We enjoyed the gym which while small had all the equipment we needed , although a couple of mornings there were 8 others in there and it felt quite crowded. |So in summary a fabulous week and probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We hope to return in a couple of years time.

Resort facilities are good. Villa was very clean. Staff were extremely attentive, alert, friendly, courteous, helpful and provides service with a smile in the face. Room lighting is good. The TV occasionally gave some challenges in access to Youtube. Otherwise, all facilities and amenities were in good working condition. In the resort, guests would have a very beautiful view of the sunset. Good and picturesque view of the sea too.

We are from Switzerland and have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world – so our expectations are naturally very high. The Surin Phuket not only met these expectations but exceeded them in many ways.The entire resort offers a European-level standard, combined with the unique charm of Thailand. What impressed us the most was the exceptional friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuine – a level of service that even surpasses many top hotels in Europe.Our accommodation, the beach, the breakfast, the peaceful atmosphere – everything was absolutely perfect. You can feel that every detail is thoughtfully taken care of and that guest comfort is the top priority.For us, The Surin is truly a paradise in Phuket, and one of the few hotels we can wholeheartedly recommend. We are already looking forward to returning.

We stayed here for five nights and loved it! This is the best hotel in Phuket, possibly in Thailand. We enjoyed every single moment here. The cottages are clean, spacious and luxurious. The beach is quiet, clean and feels private. Breakfast is also really good. The staff is super friendly, helpful and they made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!
