super cute little spot. came here to pick up thanksgiving pies and breakfast. the almond croissant was so good! the filling wasn’t too sweet and the pastry was flaky. we also got the budapest bundt cake, which had an awesome filling, but the dough had way too much baking soda (or maybe it was old). the cold brew was great, and the service was as well. would totally come back :)

Best cinnamon roll I’ve had in a very long time, and I eat a lot of cinnamon rolls. Also such a cute seating area. We will be returning again!

I ordered a cake for a wedding shower. Chocolate with champagne colored buttercream frosting. The cake was perfection. The right balance of sweet and richness, the chocolate was decadent without overpowering the frosting. It was moist, and absolutely delightful. Our bride-to-be was so happy with it - she took the leftovers home, joking it would be their dinner. I feel we got our money's worth and then some. $48 for an 8 inch cake that a very picky group of cake-eaters LOVED. Add in wonderful service, and I will be ordering all cakes here going forward!

So glad we finally stopped into The Sweet Spot cafe! Delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries…my favorite is the homemade pop tarts! Coffee is good, but just the basics. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit!

Ordered a lemon meringue pie from The Sweet Spot for Thanksgiving (we celebrated the Sunday before). Unfortunately, I mistakenly thought they closed at 2PM on Sunday and showed up at 12:30 Sunday to pick up the pie on the way to Thanksgiving Dinner. They were closed, my heart dropped, but a lady came over to the door, clearly about to go home herself and let me in. She reopened the cash register, allowed my 4 yo and 1 yo to come in even though she JUST mopped the floors and was SO kind. No attitude what-so-ever! So grateful for them! The pie was also delicious and a huge hit!

I ordered a specialty cake for a high school graduation party just six days in advance—unusual for me, as I typically plan much earlier. Thankfully, Jackie (the baker) made it happen! She worked closely with me to choose the perfect size, style, and flavor, and stayed in constant contact via text throughout the process. We initially opted for an edible ink decoration with expedited shipping (my choice, knowing the risks), but unfortunately, it didn’t arrive in time. Jackie quickly helped me pivot to a Plan B, which—surprisingly—turned out even better than the original idea. The cake was a huge hit at the party: moist, delicious, and beautifully done. I’ll definitely be ordering from this bakery again. As a bonus tip—don’t miss the Cubano and the chicken salad sandwiches. They’re out of this world! 👍

I planned a bike route to come out and try this cafe for the first time. I was looking forward to it after seeing the great reviews. When I got there I really liked the setup of the place, it's on the edge of the woods and far enough from 114 to feel secluded. The tables outside are convenient and the cozy seating area inside has a perfect New England charm to it. The food was good but not great. The coffee is just ok and the options are limited but the price is fair. I got a slice of meatlovers quiche which had some good flavor, but was somewhat small for the price and was reheated via microwave when I got it and it was still cold in the middle. The chocolate donut I got was probably the best part of my meal and was a nice treat. Overall I'd give the place 4 stars on the food and atmosphere alone, but I was disappointed by the service. The staff seemed a bit distracted at times though it wasn't busy and seemed to not anticipate some basic things like providing some cutlery to eat the quiche with or providing a trash outside for customers, particularly for when they wrap up their meals after the cafe closes at 2pm and the door gets locked. The biggest thing that I did not like and would probably keep me from going out of the way to visit again or to recommend the place to other cyclist friends in the area is that they wouldn't provide free tap water refills even though I had already paid for lunch there. This is a basic service to provide for customers and I haven't come across a place that didn't do this in a long time. Why would I bike to and support a cafe that wouldn't even provide tap water to help keep me hydrated for my ride back home?

Dearest Jackie, I cannot begin to tell you how above and beyond your “sweet catering spot” exceeded my expectations!! I KNEW it would be great BUT I had no idea how incredibly great, delightful, abundant and delicious it would ALL be! People raved about the food! I was so happy to have the healthy (allergy sensitive) options! Our daughter, was thrilled as she often doesn't have options or they can be the same over and over! The food was simply more than perfect! The amount was great! We didn't have a tremendous amount over….. Enough over for good leftovers and to share some, but it was perfect! The GFDF frittata was a HIT! The quiche, bean salad, spinach salad, banana breads, GF Boule, cupcakes, treats allergy sensitive, carrot cake were all AMAZING! Not one thing was not just perfect! My husband also couldn’t believe how friendly and kind you all are! He said, “keep going back to them!!” And I sure will! Thank you again Jackie and ALL who helped with this delightful order!! The bridal shower was a great success and your catering made an already special event, a real delight ! Thank you!

Yelp
Stopped on the way back to our campground. Really needed a latte but they only had coffee, no espresso. We got some pastries instead. We got two blueberry poptarts, a pumpkin bread, and whoopie pie. The poptarts were amazing, whoopie pie was my absolute fave, but the pumpkin bread was super dry so would not recommend. They sell breakfast sandwiches too but we did not get that. Probably wouldn't go back but it wasn't a bad experience at all.

Yelp
Hurry to The Sweet Spot for the best blueberry pies and wonderful soft pretzels! The bakers and owners are really pleasant, too. They are on site all open hours and will help with orders for anything.

Yelp

Yelp
We got the chocolate cupcakes and they were stale and dry. The frosting was so sweet we couldn't even eat it. The pop tart was good. We ended up throwing away all the cupcakes. They were inedible. The pastries tasted old like they had been out for a couple of days. So disappointed.

Yelp
The Sweet Spot opened this week in the former Just Like Mom's Pastries. This quaint bakery and cafe is under new ownership, as the former owner retired and the recipes from Just Like Mom's Pastries were retained here. I used to drive out here for the whoopie pies, which are still made at this new business. They also have on display: cakes, pies, pastries, napoleons, cupcakes, cookies, tiramisu and mini cheesecakes. There's also a freezer stocked with homestyle dinner items, bake your own pies, cheesecakes, and cakes. Besides the baked goods, they have Java Tree Coffee, cold drinks, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, lunch sandwiches, wraps, quiches, soups, and salads. There's a cozy dining room to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a light snack. I stopped in here recently to grab a light lunch to go. I ordered the Vermonter Sandwich ($8.49 plus tax) and a slice of Tomato & Leek Quiche ($4.99 plus tax). The sandwich was made to order in the kitchen and the quiche heated up and packed to go. I enjoyed my lunch in my vehicle since I already had hot coffee there. The Vermonter had roasted turkey (no ham), crisp maple bacon strips, apple, red onion and mayo on a soft chewy small white sub roll. The quiche was soft and fluffy baked on a flaky crust. The food I had was tasty and I was told by my boss who lives in Weare that I should also stop here for breakfast too. My boss took his daughter here for breakfast and she loved their croissant breakfast sandwich and the mini cheesecakes.

Yelp
I loved coming here when I lived in NH! the staff was awesome and the food was great! It is such a cute spot to stop at!

Yelp
I have eaten Lunch/Brunch here saveral times in the past year. Parking is easy and more that adequate for the size of their foot establishment. The staff are very freindly, helpful and attentitive! The prices are very reasonable, as you will see. The Service is fast and the food is excellent! I can have Lunch/Brunch and under 1/2 hour and be back on the road to my next destination. I highly recommend the Sweet Spot Bakery and Cafe, the next time you are in Weare, NH, located right on N.H. Route 114 on the South side. P.S., The coffee is excellent, too!

Yelp
I'm new to the area and ordered a birthday cake from here based on the location. I'm so glad I did. They were able to accommodate a custom flavor. The cake was absolutely delicious. Some bakeries make their cake overly sweet but this one had perfect balance. There was also a small issue with the decoration but that was taken care of quickly. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other bakery items.

Yelp
I needed a last minute birthday cake or cup cakes. I searched local bakeries near me. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. I got cup cakes. They were wonderful!!!! I highly recommend them!!!

Yelp
Fantastic breakfast sandwich and pastries. Beautiful little shop with a lovely outdoor picnic table area in the shade of a huge tree. Loved it.

Yelp
The Sweet Spot in New Boston NH opened in late April 2022 after taking the place of previous Bakery Just like Moms. All the talk on Facebook by new owners leading up to the opening was promising, as everyone new it would be hard to take the place of the previous owners. Right from the start they would advertise all these great new things they were going to make and offer and whenever we went the shelfs were bare and quality was no where close to previous. Giving it time was what I thought it needed. Boy was I wrong! Went in today after waiting a few months to give it another try. The girl who took our order insisted on checking us out before making the 5 subs we ordered after we asked she wait because we were going to add more to it. She then goes out back and comes back out telling us they had no sub rolls left to make the Italian subs we ordered and paid for already. We agreed to a wrap which was not at all what an Italian with oil should be on. She makes are "wraps" tells us we were all set. Get out to the car and she didn't give us the other sandwich get that and then realize they never gave us the sides that came with our order. Have come to the conclusion that lunch over there is not worth going to anymore. We will not be back and if your looking for something in the bakery you might want to call because you probably won't have it!
