The hub and centre of activity in the city, it’s surprising that this rusty bridge holds up under the constant traffic and people passing over! It’s a good spot for admiring the boats and there’s plenty of restaurants immediately nearby. Not sure I’d classify it as a landmark or attraction, merely a functional bit of infrastructure in a bustling area.

It’s a bridge. Rusty and old but necessary to enter the downtown area. Water underneath doesn’t look healthy. Lots of boat traffic and near bus stop and city hall. Not much else to see here. Found this little taco spot a few blocks away. Six mini tacos for $2 Belize. Didn’t get sick, so consider them a success. 4-stars for the taco place.

A means to cross the creek and need of major repairs or replacement. Allows one to get a picture of the harbour or cruise ship docked out from shore.

The bridge has been an icon of Belize City town center. It looks rustic and also rusty. It has become the a landmark and boundary between the east and west sides of the town.

The Swing Bridge in Belize City offers some pretty nice views of the boats in the harbor. The area is dirty and on days when a cruise ship is docked, there are several locals trying to sell you something. It's a short, pretty safe walk from the cruise terminal.

The famous swing bridge is the only remaining manual swing bridge in the world. If you're in the area feel free to take pictures of the harbor. This bridge might soon be replaced.

It's just a bridge lol. There’s nothing special about it. You just use it to cross over the river. There is no tourist element to it.
